～一宮市ホームページより～ 一宮市尾西歴史民俗資料館は、濃尾平野の大動脈である木曽川と美濃路が交わる起の地に、昭和61年に開館しました。美濃路起宿の歴史と文化にはじまり、毛織物産業の発展や鉄道敷設など、人々の生活とともに変容する起の町を紹介しています。また、起宿の脇本陣・船庄屋を務めた林家の旧宅（国登録有形文化財「旧林家住宅」）と、昭和初期に作庭された旧林氏庭園（国登録記念物）を一般公開しています。 資料館自体も勿論素晴らしいのですが、脇本陣跡である旧林家住宅が特に素晴らしい。住宅の中にも入ることが出来て、住宅から見る庭園が本当に素晴らしく、秋にはドウダンツツジやモミジが紅葉して、緑の苔とのコントラストが楽しめる。

無料で入館できます。1階が常設展、2階が特別展でした。美濃路の起宿について詳しく学ぶことが出来ます！模型展示が多く、わかりやすい😆織物産業の集積地だったことがよくわかりました！
