We have planned an impromptu trip to Leh with family. We got in touch with Ken to organize our trip, giving him only few hours time to plan. He was ofcourse shocked with our impromptu plan 😂 but had had our itenary ready and we were in Leh the next day. We travelled on Oct 15th where 95% of Leh is already shutdown as the season has come to an end. We had an adventurous trip and memorable experiences only because of Unplugged Life. Ken was were very helpful throughout the trip. The itinerary was very well planned and we completed the whole trip without any hustle and bustle. The accommodations provided were excellent considering the tight timeline and off season. We are provided with an knowledgeable driver who took us on a road trip of several days, first to the beautiful Nubra valley and then to the Tur Tuk, Kardhungla Pass, Changla Pass and Pangong where were mesmerized by the majestic views of Himalayas. The highlights of the trip are the 6km ATV rides and Zip line at the Nubra Valley. It is a visual pleasure and no words are sufficient to describe the beauty of Leh.I would highly recommend traveling with Unplugged life

Our travel to Leh had always been overwhelming to plan thanks to the number of suggestions we got from friends and family. Lucky for us we let Unplugged Life make the itinerary and organize everything! And it was perfect! Unplugged Life gave us one of the most memorable trips to Leh Ladakh. Meticulously planned and well taken care of. All the hotels/homestays were excellent with good clean rooms and hot water and food. The drivers need a special mention. They plan the day's itinerary based on various factors such as sunset, lunch timings, weather etc so that we get the best view. Takes a lot to drive in these conditions and they are up for it. Special mention to Ken who coordinated throughout the trip and kept checking on us everyday to ensure everything was going as per plan. This was August'22 when we called Unplugged Life to make our plan for Ladakh. We visited thie beautiful place in September-October and trust me the arrangements by Unplugged Life was awesome. From the moment when we landed to Ladakh to the day when we left it, all the arrangements have been done by their team. Trust me Ladakh is the place where more you visit more you think to come back and visit this place again. We will plan next year again to visit this place and definately choose Unplugged Life for us.

My Offbeat trip to Ladakh! It’s been more than a decade that I planned to visit Ladakh but for some reason I wasn’t able to join any of the groups that came here however little did I know that I was destined to visit my dream destination with the “best”. From an amazing itinerary which was specially drafted for us as per our requirement till putting us up at the best stays, having some amazing warm staff there who made us really comfortable till getting us such awesome organic food on our tables… everything was so well organised. I can’t thank Ken enough for this experience of a lifetime, for making my dream destination so memorable for me. If you ever plan a trip to Ladakh it has to be with Unplugged Life to ensure the best experience.

We intended to do an ambitious Ladakh trip in the summer holidays, with 2 children (4 & 7) and parents (63 & 67). We approached Ken after reading amazing reviews on TripAdvisor, and I must say, the whole experience from start to end was better than what I could have hoped for. 1/ Planning - Ken was extremely responsive & knowledgeable. He was able to help plan the itinerary in a sensible manner, making sure we spent enough time at 10-11k ft altitudes (Jispa, Leh, Nubra) before moving to higher altitude areas (Pangong, Hanle, Tsomoriri). This was extremely important given we were traveling with kids & senior citizens. We were flexible with our itinerary in terms of #days, so it was great to have Ken's inputs on the areas to visit vs leave out. Hanle / Tsomoriri are somewhat less explored, and it was certainly worthwhile including those in our itinerary. 2/ Car / driver - Given my wife & daughter have a bit of motion sickness, I was quite skeptical of how long road trips would turn out (we ended up being in the car for ~55 hours over 11 days). Thus a good quality car & driver were paramount for me, and I was not disappointed at all. The car that took us from Manali - Leh, and the car we had thereafter in Ladakh (Innova Crystas) were in great condition, and both drivers were really good - no rash driving & knowledgeable about routes. A large part of the experience on road-trips comes down to the drivers, and we were really happy with what Ken & team provided to us. 3/ Hotels - we stayed at 7 different locations during the trip. All the hotels booked by Ken were really good. Clean bathrooms, courteous & helpful staff, good food. Even in remote areas like Tsomoriri / Hanle, the stay was fantastic. At Pangong, we were hoping our stay wouldn't be too far away from the lake, and as it turned out, it was literally a 2 min walk. 4/ Service - I cannot speak highly enough for Ken's hands on nature in terms of being there. Always responsive on whatsapp / call, and there whenever we needed him. We had trouble with our final stay in Leh (Hotel Samaya), and Ken was there in person to try and help sort out the issues we had. Overall, we had a great trip, and I am really glad we reached out to Ken to help arrange this trip. I would highly recommend anyone to book their travel with Ken & team, they are really fantastic.

Recently got 1 week trip to Ladakh organised by them and the experience was truly amazing. Starting with the critical warnings (which most people avoid) regarding AMS, to providing proactive insights around availability of essentials during the 7 days trip from Leh to Nubra Valley (via Khardung La) to Turtuk to Pangong and finally back to Leh (via Chang La) was professionally planned with the custom requirements kept in mind. We are a family of four, and this was our kids' first trip to Ladakh. After searching online for a reliable tour operator in Ladakh, I came across Unplugged Life and gave Ken a call. Everything was a breeze after that. He curated an itinerary based on our preferences and everything was in place like clockwork when we landed. Unfortunately, all four of us had a bout of mountain sickness the day we landed and had to get treatment. Ken was available on WhatsApp to help with instructions and reassurances during what felt like an ordeal at the time. We recovered after a day and over the next one week, we were well taken care of by the driver and hotels during our travel to Sumoor, Nubra, Turtuk, Hunder and back to Leh. When our return flight was cancelled (by Spicejet) and we were stuck in Leh for another four days, Ken quickly helped us find another hotel with negotiated rates. This was probably the most well organised and hassle free travel experiences I've had with the kids! The best part of it was that Ken was always available at a ping or call, and ready with very specific advice and support.

We arranged with Ken at Unplugged Life for a 7 night tour. Starting with being collected from our houseboat in Srinagar to drive to Leh. To ensure enough time to see the fantastic scenery with photo stops we would stay the night in Kargil. Because of the number on monasteries I would like to see, the second night would be in Alchi, 70km short of Leh. Slightly unusual but Ken was happy to fulfil the clients needs. Then 3 nights in Leh with local sightseeing before a journey over the near 18000ft Khardung La pass for a night in Nubra Valley with return to Leh for a final night the next day. Over a period of time Ken and I exchanged emails to finalise details about the car, types of hotel, offering a range of price categories etc. At all times the response was prompt and explained in clear English. Not a surprise when I met Ken in Leh as he does speak excellent English. It is always concerning when you make reservations with an independent company in another country but Ken was available for Whatsapp calls if required to provide reassurance about paying the deposit to make reservations and completing payment a few weeks before travelling. And the trip itself proceeded wonderfully. The scenery Srinagar to Kargil and to Nubra Valley exceeded expectations. The monasteries and other sites were wonderful. The hotels were all as expected and very good quality. Our driver Austin was excellent, quietly spoken, professional and knowledgeable. A company I would use again and thoroughly recommend.

Our family trip to Bhutan arranged by Unplugged Life was a memorable experience. Pick up from Bagdogra airport, drive to Phuntsholing, then on to Thimphu, Paro and back spanning a week was one of perfectly planned itineraries to the 'must-see' spots, trek up to the 'Tiger Monastery', excellent guide, vehicle and driver, good scenic hotels and phenomenal support from the local team, made it a 'zero-worry trip. The Leh Ladakh Circuit trip was very well planned and everyone enjoyed it to the fullest. The team was available 24/7 and made all the arrangements in advance. We (a group of 7 people) covered the entire circuit starting from Srinagar to Leh to Nubra to Hanle to Chandigarh in 13 days. The best part of the trip was exploring the unexplored. A tip to any travelers will be, don't go unplanned to the unexplored territory of Ladakh. Hope to see Ken again next year for Spiti Circuit.

Honestly I was initially v skeptical of going ahead this trip with you becz your recommendation fell into my lap literally from no expected where. Here are few breakdowns pertaining to my trip with Ken/unplugged life, which I'm sure will help people 1) detailed Itinerary : I have tied up with international tour operators too but no one does provide as detailed itinerary as they do, with every ounce of attributes like time, kms, halts, ancillary sights over and above your main sightseeing 2) Accommodation : incredible handpicked accommodation. I bet no one can provide such a fantastic room view. My personal favorite ones are the grand dolphin - Tso Moriri and Neryok's Indus view @Karu 3) Food & lodging : this falls perfectly in place if accommodation is sorted (point 2). My personal favorite was hands down : Gangba homestay, Leh, followed by Neryok's, Karu. Lip smacking food is served at both the places. If u r a non veg, u'll have one gravy dish @Gangba, Leh, but be lil considerate and not to be disappointed if u don't get non veg at remaining places. Remember this is an adventurous trip with no man's land location. Be grateful to what you get and trust me you get more than what u can ask for with "Unplugged" Folks 4) the Drive : if you are hiring a car with "Unplugged", which we did, be rest assured, your journey is going to be smooth and safe. They have professional staff and we had the privilege to share our journey with " phunchok" Bhaiya. He is a star, knowledgeable, has little funny trivias, humble, respectful , plays music of ur choice and extremely caring.
