The place is very beautiful. But the way you come down to the riverside is very steep and dangerous. Especially for elderly people. So be careful while coming down. The place also needs cleaning. But all that aside, when you get down to the riverside, the view is just gorgeous 🤩. Good for picnic 🧺. The parking is available for free. Highly recommended 😊

A very beautiful view point at the Indo- Bhutan border, one can go there for a one day tour or picnic with family or friends. The route to the view point is very scenic through the tea garden. Go there by your private car or rental car because there was no public transport available. Climbing down from the view point can lead to the river bed, the road isn't very good, not suitable for elderly people. I have seen so many chips wrapper and beer bottles at the river bed. My earnest request would be to anyone who is visiting the place is not to litter at this beautiful place.

Average picnic spot. The terrain is quite rough with huge stones and few streams in between making the place uneven. The spot provides a spectacular panoramic view of the mountains and valleys around. Had been there for a picnic and had mixed experience.

You can go for a day outing and will really enjoy the place. The roads are a bit narrow but very scenic. You need to trek down a bit to the river bed.

Fantastic place for spending an afternoon. The location is also splendidly suitable for picnics. Situated on the river Diana near the chengmari tea garden, the place offers excellent views. It is right on the Bhutan border and one can easily cross the river on foot to enter Bhutan without any restrictions. There is a small Bhutanese hamlet on the other side of the river with a couple of shops. But because of the nature of the place it is not recommended to bring small kids here.

This is a great place to visit especially in winter it's a very good place for picnic .You can see the Bhutan bridge from here.From Siliguri to Lal Jhamela Basti road is very good it's full of tea gardens 🌿 you'll enjoy the ride. You can easily come with a motorcycle 🏍. Note: If you come with elderly people for a picnic they will face difficulty going down (towards the river bed).And the monsoon water level of the river will be very high so it will be dangerous to go down (although you can enjoy the nature) .

The most beautiful location ever seen in my life. I couldn't think this type of place actually exists in dooars just few kilometres away from towns like Malbajar, Jalpaiguri and Siliguri. This place is actually in the border of India-Bhutan. I think it should be your first choice if you think for a picnic with family or friends. You definitely gonna enjoy it.

Don't go by the name, it is a picnic spot.You have to book a car from lataguri or malbazar.The river which is flowing through is Diana.The local will charge you 100 rupees for parking if you want to visit the place.For picnic the rate is different.The place is very beautiful but I found it little crowded as being a picnic spot.People are cooking openly beside the river.A few little tea stalls are only available there.
