The restaurant has a Beautiful and outstanding outlook, Good Food as well. But during my visit customer service was very poor, you order food and have to wait for 30mins till your served.

The pricing is very accommodating with very generous food portions. Talking about the food, its is well cooked, delicious and filling. We ordered a sinia and the tip is don't order a platter for the exact number of people, reduce minus 1 The service was very okay thanks to ESTHER she was great. No waiting time 🍹 the cocktails and Nojittos are amazing. 💯 would recommend

Nice place, attentive staff. Many dishes to choose from, quick service, tasty food. The platters look nice but too big for one person. And as I was on my own decided on a Somali did which was nice.

I'm not really a juice person but when I tried my husband's "lunch cleanser" I had to get one myself. I can't say the name is particularly inviting, but the taste is fresh and amazing - slightly sweet, and slightly spicy and the perfect, most refreshing combo. Try it! We also ordered the grilled vegetable sandwich and the sizzling veggies with red bean sauce and biryani. The sizzling veggies were absolutely delicious. The sauce was bold and well spiced and the portion was very good. Our waitress was so sweet and even taught us some Swahili. We felt very welcome and had a really nice time here.

Great portions, quite affordable. Food is quite subtle ...Not for spice lovers. (Though you can order chilli at the side) but that's as far as it goes.

It's got a little bit of a zing to it, overviewing the street from the terrace seats. Besides, we were over the moon, trying ultra big sized meal plates, which includes the various menu from Somali special to Indian, and local.

I've been to their other branch on Banda street and loved it, and this one didn't disappoint too. Consistently tasty food, great value, competent service with lots of seating. Wifi also available although slow. I got the mango smoothie, which was very fresh, and the tender mbuzi choma with steamed cabbage. I am very particular with my food and its ingredients because of food intolerances and they always get my order right! Looking forward to stopping by everytime I'm in CBD!

One of the best and most affordable place to eat in the CBD. Pay less get more. My best dish is the honey glazed goat ribs, so so soft and tastes so yummy 😋 for only 620 and I never finish it all 🙌🏾👌🏾 FunFact: honey glazed Goat ribs here are sweeter and better than at the new Jamia Kilimanjaro 😀😀 Ambience and interior decor is quite ok and comfortable 👌🏾

First time at Kilimanjaro. And, I was wowed! The dining space is quite huge with seating options either inside the main restaurant as well as outside overlooking Kimathi Street. The ambience is so warm and cosy. I think the best time to appreciate this place is very early in the morning before the crazy busy lunch-rush. The menu was truly overwhelming for a hungry, first-timer such as myself. Because, everything on the menu looked good! My waiter, Joel, was super helpful in this aspect and suggested i try the liver ("Maini") with chapati. It came in sauteed strips with a side of potato-based gravy. I didn't regret this choice at all. In fact, my tummy was doing a vigorous dance of delight from all the deliciousness. I also had their Caffe Mocha which was just amazing - hot and perfectly balanced in terms of the coffee and chocolate and milk. All this set me back a mere Kshs.530/- (about $5). Meanwhile, the supervisor was on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly and that I enjoyed myself. I loved the attention to detail...even their toothpicks are branded!!! I Definitely recommend this place. If there were more than 5 stars to give, I would glady give them to Kilimanjaro.

Located along Kimathi street Nairobi, kilimanjaro Jamia restaurant is one of the best hotels around the Nairobi CBD. They serve a whole lot of different types of foods and drinks. They have some of the best cappuccino and coffee around. They also serve meals the likes of Pizza, fish curry, strawberry ice cream, and much more. The services are also too notch.

Kilimanjaro Jamia Restaurant, Kimathi Street I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kilimanjaro Jamia Restaurant, located on Kimathi Street, and I must say it was an incredible experience. As an expert in the field, I am always on the lookout for restaurants that offer authentic and delicious cuisine, and Kilimanjaro Jamia did not disappoint. First and foremost, the restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting. The interior had a modern yet cozy feel, with comfortable seating arrangements and tasteful decor that reflected the vibrant culture of East Africa. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and had a pleasant atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food. Kilimanjaro Jamia specializes in East African cuisine, and their menu offers a wide variety of dishes that showcase the rich flavors and traditional cooking techniques of the region. From the moment I took my first bite, I could tell that the chefs at Kilimanjaro Jamia had a deep understanding of the cuisine they were preparing. One of the standout dishes I tried was the Nyama Choma, which is grilled meat marinated in a blend of herbs and spices. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The restaurant not only accommodates Muslims but is also welcoming to all people from all walks of life. Their barbeque platter, biryani, pilau and butter chicken are among the best dishes on the menu. One of the things that stood out the most was their platter for three, which is a delicious twist on the Kenyan and Arab delicacies like Naan, Biriyani, Pilau, Chicken, arosto, or sizzling beef. The menu also featured other East African favorites such as Pilau, Biryanis, and various vegetarian options. Each dish I tried was expertly prepared, and the quality of ingredients was evident. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling fully satisfied. The service at Kilimanjaro Jamia was also commendable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions. In terms of pricing, Kilimanjaro Jamia offers good value for the quality of food and dining experience they provide. The prices were reasonable, considering the portion sizes and the overall quality of the ingredients used. If I were to point out any areas for improvement, it would be the waiting time for the food to arrive. Although it was not excessive, a slightly faster service would further enhance the dining experience.

Food was served. Very beautiful plentifully filled until I started digging in, only to find human hair entangled in my rice. Then the waiter comes and tries to tell me how thats not a strand of human hair but a "spice strand"....🤦🏾‍♀️ I'll leave the rest of the experience to imagination....😡😖😖😣

The ambience is good and the service is great. Mohamed is really a great waiter. Always willing to go the extra mile for his customers. The juices are great, especially the pineapple-passion. Very fresh. I would definitely recommend one orders their juices as part of their meal. The sizzling chicken is quite tasty and a favourite. Can be accompanied with French fries, chapati or a starch of your choosing. There is a balcony seating with a view of Kimathi street.

So I'm in Nairobi doing my errands and my lady suggests we pop into Kilimanjaro Jamia and man thats the best thing she did for us that day 26/9/2022. We walk in to see whats on the menu (we are foodies) and we are spoilt for choice. Being the first time and being very cautious to try out something we ain't sure about. We chose: Chicken stew with Pilau Rice and Beef stew with fries(see photos). Good customer service,, excellent food,, clean environment and most importantly GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!. Would I suggest Kilimanjaro Jamia to my friends and family? YES! Will I eat again here,, HELL YES! Good stuff Kilimanjaro Jamia. GREAT WORK. Kilimanjaro was a favorite once because the food was delicious, though with slow service. Coming back in 2022 and I'm disappointed. The chicken Tikka had no flavor, had too much food color, and the portion of the salad too small. While the chips did not have salt and were cold despite waiting almost 20 minutes for the food to be served. I hope they can improve.

Spacious, full bit you'll still get somewhere to sit. The seating arrangement is exquisite, you'd even be tempted to ask if anyone has booked the tables 🤠 Loved the Arrosto plate experience, the mojitos too are ( add chef's kiss gif). Will definitely go back to sample more food. Highly recommend.

It is a okay okay types restaurant for me. They have a limited vegetarian menu. Staff are not very hospitable but not rude either. Atmosphere is also okay types. It is fine to go there with friends and family. Prices of food is slightly higher when compared to similar restaurants in India but okay types when compared with restaurants in Nairobi. Food quality is okay and food served is edible.

The food was fantastic... Didn't take too long to prep and presentation was good. The waiter who served us throughout was great, given she was handling multiple tables. The amounts were copious so if you pop in for a meal, you better be hungry. The atmosphere and table setting allowed us to have a great intimate lunch. They have table setups for families too.

The restaurant has nice ambience to it. It provides total privacy also for the couples. The customer service was fast and the waiters friendly. If you are looking for the best fries this is it, not just any fries but their Masala fries are the best ,their beef is fresh and tasty. Their serving in portion size is phenomenal . Their menus are super budget friendly. I look forward to visiting the place more often.

I liked the food. Good quantity. Relatively affordable - it won't break the bank. Service was ok. If a quiet, calm and serene place is your priority, this won't do it for you. But if you want good food and don't mind a little bustle here and there, a great place.

The food, service and ambience were all so 'value for money'. Quality and quantity of the food offered in this restaurant is not sth you come by everyday in so many of the restaurants in Nairobi. The service was so receptive. Thank you so much for making It worthwhile each time I'm there!
