Great experience for groups especially. I highly recommend it. Tips! ▪︎Go early - as in 5:30am early. ▪︎Go with the right type of car - preferably the tour vans|jeeps, off roaders. They have better vantage point and can easily move around the different terrains in the park. ▪︎Get a tour guide! You'll be guaranteed to be in the know when an animal is spotted. That and plus you'll get to learn about the animals as you explore the park. Ps - you can hire a KWS van. The hiring fee is inclusive of a tour guide (he or she doubles up as the driver). Book in advance. ⚠️All big five animals can be spotted at the National park except for the Elephant (for this the closest option is to visit the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage - for younger elephants).

I really had a good time there. Seeing the live animals was quite an eye opener. Was able to see the big four. The prices are affordable and pocket friendly but the service fee are a bit exaggerated. Disclaimer: Instead of wasting your 250 at the animal orphanage better come to safari walk. Remember to carry an identification card.

Nairobi National Park Safari walk is the Closest you can get to the Wild With its raised wooden boardwalk that allows for uninterrupted views of the animals, the Safari Walk is a show case for Kenya’s Parks and Reserves, allowing visitors to discover what they can expect to see across the country. Visitors can see a sample of the country’s rich animal life including the rare bongo, white rhino and albino zebra as well as big cats, antelopes and primates. It is also home to some 150 species of local trees.

Don't come to here. Isn't not walk Safari. I think is only small zoo. You just can watch very few animals. One zebra, one giraffe, two lions, two ostrich, two buffaloes, one leapod., some monkey. That's all. But the tickets is very very very expensive in the world. Only small zoo, you need to pay 22 US dollars for admission. If you by walk in this zoo, only 20 minutes, you can see the all.

This was way better than the animal orphanage. I was disappointed with the orphanage when comparing it to zoos in America. It would do well for them to take tips on how to better present and use better signs to describe the animals. Maybe there is lack of funding? We saw lots of school kids and I think it’s nice for them to see the animals as the park is not to long to walk around. And many of them were so excited. I remember visiting this park 20 years ago and it was in much better shape and there were more animals. Again, better presentation is needed and more animals. Anyway, when we went to the safari walk that was such a better experience. It’s meant for adults and bigger kids as there is lots of walking. The entrance fee let’s you have a guide to walk through the park and explain but I was not in the mood to listen so I didn’t get a guide. It was very peaceful to walk and see all the animals. It felt like we were walking in the game park. Very unique experience! You get to walk through beautiful grounds to see animals in their natural habitat. ( enclosures are bigger) Please maintain the park. The path was all falling apart. It would be a shame to see this park get run down like the orphanage. Invest in your strengths.
