Our 3 day safari in the Mara is one we will cherish for a lifetime! We were so fortunate to catch a wildebeest migration which was on our bucket list! Imraan arranged everything perfectly, even adding personal touches to account for my recent surgery, Thomas was so amazing and saw us off at our 6:00am pickup and our driver, Paul, knew just where to take us for the best possible animal sightings and is so knowledgeable. Can’t wait to come again!! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts! We have always dreamed of going on safari and it took a medical emergency and 31 years of marriage but it was SO worth it!

This was our second time with Best Camping Safaris, and we had a wonderful experience yet again! From planning the itinerary, to meeting us when we landed in Kenya and briefing us regarding our impending travels with helpful guidance, being in touch regarding pick ups and drop offs and coordinating them without any problems, having a really lovely driver and guide (Ben), and ensuring extra care because we were travelling with our two young kids, to the point of final goodbyes, Imraan and his team were the absolute best. We got to see all the animals (the big five, and more!) we wanted, as well as a chance to see the wildebeest migration live! Best camping ensure you maximise your safari experience but without compromising on safety, and quality. We cannot wait to go back again on another adventure with them! I was in Kenya in 2004 and did an 8 day safari in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli and Tsavo West. It was an amazing experience and Best Camping Tours and Safari was an awesome safari outfit. We did a camping safari and it was quite comfortable. Our guide was amazing and did little detours and stops so we could get great views of the wildlife. The food at camp was always great and our Masai guards were very friendly. At the end of the safari trip the driver dropped us off in Mombasa and Best Camping had arranged a hotel for us there on the beach for a relaxing end to our vacation. I have amazing pictures and memories of my time in Kenya and would highly recommend Best Camping Tours and Safari for their amazing and friendly service.

I went on safari in Masai Mara with Best Camping Tours back in 2004 with a group of 10 people. We are all from the little island of Malta. I must say that the company lives up to the name. The person I dealt with Imraan who runs operations was very friendly and is ready to accommodate the requirements we had. The tour itself was very good and trouble free. Food was good and the campsite is simple but well organised. Drivers had good commincation between each other so you would not miss any highlights happening in Maasai Mara. We managed to see a lot of wildlife and the driver had very good knowledge of the animals and the area. Unfortunately we didnt manage to see a hunt but we did see lions and lionesses mate. I would recommend best camping tours to anyone looking for affordable but yet awesome tour!

Extremely overwhelmed by the experience we had with Best Camping tours .we were well taken care of during our stay . Really appreciate Imran’s prompt responses to address our queries and concerns not only during our stay there but right from the time we decided to plan for this trip . Just finished a 9 day tour with Best Camping tours....our experience was phenomenal. Everything was well taken care of. Our driver knew a lot about the Amborsili and Masai Mara parks and the jungle and that was a great help in spotting the animals. The owner Imraan takes personal care of all your needs and that reflects in his staff too. All in all, an unforgettable experience .

We visited Kenya as two couples in the first half of October. We passed through the Masai Mara, Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli, right after the Safaris we went to Diani Beach by train where we stayed for 4 nights. Everything was organized perfectly by Imraan and the team, from the first contact to the return to Brazil Imraan kept in touch with us with impeccable service. Furthermore, we met at the hotel and he gave us lots of tips. The Camps and Lodges were excellent and provided total immersion in nature, many animals around them, but in complete safety. During the safaris we saw many animals, we counted 27 types, and many birds and some reptiles. The number of animals in the reserves is truly impressive. We left Kenya wanting to return soon. We highly recommend Best C Tours and our friend Imraan.

I did a daily safari tour in Nairobi National Park at end of September 2023 with this agency that was really professional. We got short time in the city so they picked us in the airport, booked the ticket for us and make sure that everything was clear and efficient. They even drove us to another cultural show we wanted to do and drove us to our hotel afterward. Communication was easy with them, they were really advising. If I plan another safari in Kenya, definitely I would contact them. Thanks

We had the greatest time ever ! All very well organized by Imran. Hotels and Logdes were as great as expected (with view of Kilimanjaro in the first one :) Our guide was just terrific : kind, patient, very good driver, and gave us lot of explainations ! Safe drive, and very efficient in finding good spots !Thks Raf :) We saw the big 5 and a lot more , even a hunting episode ... that was intense Although I am a Mom, I felt I was kid ! I really appreciated everything and strongly recommend this agency

A wonderful and memorable trip thanks to Imran and special mention of Ben our guide. Watching the migration was an amazing experience. The entire trip was so well planned and each hotel/accommodation unique in its own way. From tented rooms to the beach resort where we were spoilt for choice of food. Now we need to work on losing that extra weight! But every moment of our trip is one we will cherish. Asante sana

I almost went with another tour company… but my gut wouldn’t let me book with anyone other than Imraan! He is so kind and trustworthy, and was so patient in answering all my questions:). He helped tailor a beautiful safari for me and I always knew I was in good, safe hands. His Camp is wonderful, with an amazing team of people. The cook make the best food of the whole trip, and the Masai guards were wonderful to be with :). Muhammad, my driver, was so kind, and let me take so much time to watch the animals behavior. He was so respectful of the animals and the grass, which I honestly can’t say for other tour companies- Muhammad was the only guide to let a herd of Buffalo cross, when all the other cars were scaring them :’). Great people to support, and as a solo female on a safari- I always was treated with respect :). Thank you Imraan and team! Until next time :)

I did a 8 day safari, and could not reinstate how happy I am that I chose Best Camping Tours and Safari. I wanted to do a trip around Kenya that provided me with the most local experience, alongside being able to witness as much of the country as we could throughout our holiday. Imran was always available over call, and listened to what we wanted out of our trip and organised a personalised experience that exceeded our expectations – Imran helped us on a scale beyond the scope that we would have expected from him, including preparation for the trip. We went across Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Elementaita and Amboseli (before ending the safari and exploring Mombasa, which Imran also kindly helped with). Mo accompanied us on the trip across the 4 reserves – I was very impressed by his knowledge of each national reserve, which was clear as we drove through. His expertise in the national reserves provided us with the opportunity to see the big 5 (which is very rare), alongside breath-taking views of 5+ cheetahs. Mo’s expertise enriched our overall experience significantly. Each accommodation (including the unique experience provided at the local Masai Mara site) was fantastic, and truly made this one of the best trips of my life. I could not recommend Best Camping Tours and Safari further, if you would like a safe, reliable experience of Kenya with local coverage to make the most out of each natural reserve.

5 stars isn't enough for the level of service that Imraan provides. Right from booking he was there for any questions, making sure we had everything worked out and even making suggestions we hadn't thought of. The tour he arranged for Masai Mara was amazing and our driver Ben was equally great! He always seemed to know where to stop for the best view and it didn't matter how long we did or didn't want to watch or take pictures. Sometimes you meet someone for business and when you're done, that's the end of it and then sometimes you're lucky enough to do business with someone you consider a friend...and that's Imraan and the rest of his crew!

This was the best trip of our lives! The most organised office, Imraan helped us with everything from the first moment in Nairobi, so kind man and helpful. The car, the driver, the camping in Masai Mara, everything was a steong experience with good vibes, really kind and smilly people, we really enjoyed the trip! Also the most important, every moment we felt safe, we had good directions and advices. Really I do not find anything negative. Guys thank you for everything! Team from Greece!!!

I am so glad that my daughter and I chose Best Camping. We have had the most fantastic time. Everything went smoothly every step of the way. Imraan is a wonderful, kind and professional organiser who truly went out of his way to give us an outstanding experience and unforgettable memories. He arranged 7 days of safaris for us from Tsavo West to Amboseli to Lake Naivasha and on to the Masai Mara, as well as numerous transfers, both in Mombasa and Nairobi. The accommodation he recommended (with options to upgrade if we wanted) was perfect: Kilaguni Serena (Tsavo), Sentrim (Amboseli), Sopa (Naivasha) and finally, my favourite, Olgatuni Camp (Masai Mara). Our driver, Marco, was truly excellent and looked after us so well. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and environment and I really enjoyed talking with him about Kenyan culture. Pricewise, I was delighted by what Imraan offered us. Our budget was relatively limited, but everything was of a very high standard and I could not have wished for more. I had done a lot of research before booking and seen the huge variety of prices, services and accommodation proposed. Imraan's suggestions suited us perfectly, and what really convinced me was his quick communication, his friendly, helpful attitude, his extensive knowledge and his understanding of our needs. I recommend Best Camping wholeheartedly,  whether you are first time visitors to Africa or have already travelled around this wonderful continent. Finally, I want to thank Imraan and his wife, and Marco, for making our visit so marvellous.

Imraan came to my hotel to hear what I wanted to gain out of my safari and he really hit the nail on the head. Ben (my driver/guide) was on time to pick me up for my safari, he was courteous and we ended up having the most interesting conversations about Kenya all throughout my safari trip! My accommodation was fantasitc, my luxury tent had everything I wanted with the perfect forest view. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We saw the MOST AMAZING animals on our safaris, and Ben was dedicated to helping me take the perfect picture of each animal. It was really wonderful having a patient guide who really went out of his way to make sure I was happy. In Lake Naivasha when I was too tired for the hike, Ben started finding out what other activities we could do in the area. He wanted to make sure I had the best experience possible in Lake Naivasha as well. If I had more time I would have extended my safari trip! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Best Camping Tours & Safari's for your safari in Kenya, they make sure that you fall in love with Kenya.

I visited the Masai Mara in the first week of Dec 2012 with a friend. We used Best Camping Tours & Safaris for our trip. We spent 2 nights at their Masai Mara Campsite and 1 night at a hotel in Nakuru - also organised by Imraan from Best Camping. The campsite is situated just outside the Masai Mara National Park, which is very handy when going for game drives. A short few mins drive and you are in the National Park. The accommodation at the campsite is tents. The tents are basic but sturdy enough to keep you dry from the rain and keep the mosquitoes out. The matresses and bedding provided to us was clean. There are common toilet and shower facilities for the campsite, but very very basic. So don’t expect any luxuries or you will be disappointed. Most tour operators in Kenya use reconditioned TOYOTA Vans and ours was the same. However, ours was in reasonable condition and did not break down. The driver was our tour guide for the 3 days. He was nice, friendly and very experienced. He knew the Masai Mara very well and we saw a lot of the beautiful wildlife that the Masai Mara has to offer. We did not face any problems with Best Camping Tours. In fact, Imraan was very helpful with providing information and did not promise anything that he could not deliver. The communication was good and clear and everything from the point of our arrival at the airport in Kenya was well organised. Overall, I would rate our experience with Best Camping Tours at 3.5 out of 5 and would recommend this tour operator to anyone who would like to visit the Masai Mara in not a very expensive way. For what we paid, the food could have been better and the Toilets & Shower facilities at the campsite could have been better.

It was one of the best things I have done in my life. It's an ones in a life time experience. I am sure who ever is reading if you go you will enjoy. You will see so many animals and the food there is amazing it will make you feel like your in a 5 star hotel and the tents are so comfortable and don't forget you camera and hot clothes.
