Partying on Fridays and Saturdays has majorly been an activity done by many Nairobians and finding a cool place to blow some steam off has always been one of the dilemma of making plans. 1824 is located just next to Langata road at Langata/carnivore stage. It's decorated with a wooden and green touch. The high ceilings with translucent sheets and dangling flower baskets creates the green house illusion. The tables and chairs are made of wood. The service is good and they serve food and alcoholic drinks. Some drinks vary according to the type, quality and quantity. It also is a good place to catch a football match on weekends because they have a couple of screens showing supersport. They have a great music selection and enough space to dance. They also have ample parking space. Indeed it's one of the nicest place to go partying.

Not had a drink here but its a cool chill out spot along langata road next to freedom heights mall where you can get KCB and shopping stores.

The place looks like a big hall and you have to go quite early if you want to get a good spot to sit (most people reserve sits beforehand). Otherwise you'll end up sitting at the end where you'll feel like you're literally outside the club. Service is only good if you're ordering 'expensive' drinks 😂 if you order beer/cocktails waiters take almost 40 minutes to bring you your order. Other waiters take your order and if it's a 'cheap' order they will never come back to serve you.

Despite all the buzz, I have grown to hate the 1824 staff over the years. They can be anything but professional isn't one of them. I was recently roughed up by a bouncer. Reason? A lady had knocked down my date's drink and she wanted to pay before their friends alerted one of the bouncers that I was harassing her. We were kicked out immediately! Treat your customers nicely.

This is one of the best joints if you’re looking to have a good time, dance to good music and turn up to a high energy crowd. The security guards are unnecessarily aggressive which is something the management should address but other than that, 💯.

THE PORK IS DELICIOUS, THE SERVICE IS GREAT. AND THE DJS ARE ON POINT.

Worst lady security guard at the entrance facing the main road. How do you ask a customer where he/she has decided to keep an item that is not allowed inside the club? How is that her problem? This fat lady has no good PR at all. To me, its definitely not a place to visit again. Total racism and sidelining of customers......nkt!!!

This place is always overcrowded with people from allover Nairobi....parking lot is sometimes a challenge... its also accessible to people using wheelchairs...prices are not exaggerated.... Their waiter n waitress r top...but the security team is not to the standard

I spent just about an hour here fir drinks with friends. It looks like a great place to visit for sporting events as the had several large screen TVs shoeing some of the world cup games. Service was great, but we did not have any meals here

Came here on a Tuesday, There was no waitress upstairs, I beckoned one waitress downstairs who was chilling with playing with her phone، we signaled her to serve her, she just looked up and signaled that no one was available to serve us and she continued playing with the mobile. Later another waitress came to us and we learnt that the ignorant waitress name is JENNIFFER! The supervisor tried calling her also and she ignored her!!!
