The speakers are dope with the DJ electrifying all through the nights. There is no better place to get entertained with the best of Naija and Kenya Songs with plenty mix of SA and other African songs. I enjoyed the Thursday nights. Not to forget to mention the staff are very friendly

THANK YOU ONYX FOR GIVING ME THE WORST BIRTHDAY EXPERIENCE EVER .. Visited this place on a busy day , Saturday which was also my birthday. It was great , warm welcome and great service by the counter where we ordered drinks . Unfortunately there was not enough sitting spaces inside so we were directed to sit on the terrace , which was quiet and Abit cold . Since I planned to dance, have great fun that night I didn’t like the terrace . Walked around in the crowded inside if I could find a table with people who are polite enough to let us join their table ( this is a very common thing to ask for in a nightclub , or so I thought ) . I had only walk looking around for less than a minute when a lady attendant called me outside . I was excited that maybe shrimp has going a table for us to sit . SHOCK ON ME , SHE KICKED US OUT CLAIMING WE ARE WALKING AROUND TOO MUCH . Emptied our wines in plastic cups and told us we can’t go back in ! IS THIS PLACE MEANT FOR PARTYING OR SITTING DOWN ? For such a nice place you could do better on customer service ( the bar staff and hostesses were amazing though ) Anyway had fun drinking the wine with a pizza in the pizza place on the ground floor, so it was a fun night after all .

I wouldn't recommend onyx if you really wanna have a great time. There's this one waitress who is always arrogant and full of attitude. I saw the same attitude with one of the lady bouncers. Zero customer service especially for ladies.

There is this mean waitress called Joyce. Idk what was her problem bug she was mean the whole time. Overall the place is nice but the service was badd. I also bought vape from there but I was conned. This stuff got done after like 20 puffs but "apparently" it was 1500 puffs. Don't waste your money here.

If you want to go clubbing, I recommend Onyx. The music is always good and you are guaranteed to having a good time. Their cocktails are the legit and they also have happy hour at BOGOF.

Nice club, good vibe, great music, lots of tables, only thing is small portions of food for what you pay for and lack of ingredients for shots and cocktails. 3 stars if food portions were larger and they had what they advertised on menu. Half of the drinks on the menu were not available due to ingredients not on hand.....I don't recommend going there. You only get excuses for what they want to sale you.......let's be honest people....you get what you pay for or should I say you get what they want you to pay for.....

Great Sushi, prices are not the most pocket friendly in Nairobi but worth it nonetheless. Their matcha ice cream is recommendable 😌

It's a great place to hang out or throw parties. Onyx features a fully loaded bar, great kitchen putting out great food, the bathrooms are always super clean. It's location on the 7th floor allows guests to take in the view of harlequins sports field, Ngong road, Kilimani estate, and Ngong hills. Sunsets on the terraces is a beauty to behold. The crowd is mature, the music is absolutely great.! The sitting arrangement caters for couples, small groups, large groups and V.I.P. Two large levels of secure underground parking and exterior parking available and access to the lounge is through an elevator that allows the handicapped easy access in and out of the lounge.

We had excellent ushering from Audrey. The service from the waitress was fast and she was friendly. This is A MUST VISIT club when in Nairobi any day of the week!

I love the club .Have visited several times and never been disappointed by their services. The club got a host who will help you find a seat or even locate your friends. The drinks and food are fairly priced considering the location and quality of services. The club has good music too. If you’re intending to sit outside dress in something warm though the have the burners to warm you but it’s not sometimes. If you’re looking for a place to meet someone then you can also try this joint , don’t go in too early especially weekends.

We loved this place, I think more so because we were escaping rain and the Ngong Road rush hour traffic! We enjoyed the view and just sat watching all the chaos unfold as car upon car started blocking the oncoming traffic! Oh and do go there on a Thursday, they have all day happy hour! Just be aware happy hour means you get two glasses of the same drink you just ordered. So if you got company 2 drinks for the price of one, sign me up! And the karaoke was an added bonus.

We had too much to drink so we opted to leave our drinks behind (bottles) with a guy by name Larvin. When we came back all bottles were quarter way gone. We tried asking and he got very violent, tried to retrieve the bottles but it was in vain….the securities and waiters and every other staff was of no help. Had to let go . Do not recommend to anyone ..I’d give it half a star if there was any

Fairly cool joint although a bit pricey. Positives are the elevated views since it's on the 7th floor, the sound system is perfect and the in-house DJ has great music taste and it has very clean and decent washrooms

The music was great. Vibes were great but it was annoying to have the music paused everytime someone bought a bottle. You'd think the ladies with tge lighters would be enough attention for the people who bought, but no. They need ut announced to the whole club. It feels very obnoxious and tacky.

My 1st experience here was horrible courtesy one Agnes - runs PDQ and Alice the waiter. They should be taken through what their job entails - very unprofessional behaviour. Otherwise the non human element was super - ambience, music and all.

Had heard about this place for the longest. Paid a visit yesterday. Nice place, great ambiance. Was greeted but that lovely hostess who you'd think she's know me for ages. Was guided to a table and waiter followed immediately after. The service was good. Enjoyed the music. It's prices for drinks is affordable but not cheap. Didn't know shisha is still sold in Kenya. Last I checked it was banned ?

Great view of the Ngong' hills from the balcony. You can even see the wind turbines. Ideal location for viewing sunsets.

The silent disco is always my favorite part. I love seating in the VIP lounge, less crowded and more room for dancing. Awesome DJ music mostly on Fridays. They've gotten pricey recently especially for those of us who love cocktails. Overall, it is a great place to be.

Great Music with a very good view

They have a great variety of drinks in their drinks menu and some good in-house cocktails. The views from their Lounge is very amazing. Watching sunsets from their outdoor space over a cold beer and their spicy samosas is very relaxing. I however was not so impressed by the food. the quality of meat was not so good. Steaks were very hard and dry which was surprising and their tempura was not really tempura. Stir fried noodles were actually just pasta. They may need to improve on some dishes but the experience there is very well worth it.

Awesome place for those who want to unwind and taste a bit of Nairobi City night life. The place is clean and ideal for chatting amongst buddies without too much attention. Lighting effects are calming and to some extent sensual. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is almost impossible and if one gets it, council fees are applicable.

Great place for a night out, quite a lot of Nigerian & SA music but the DJ blends them well. The price is on the higher side but for bars it's league and area, it's well within range.

Onyx is a very cosy and luxurious place There's an outdoor setup if at night u don't want loud music. Located at the rooftop with a very beautiful view Service was great our waiter Mercy Maina was very attentive, kind and professional at the same time Would definitely go back and recommend to people too
