Best ever! Service, on point! Food, succulent! You’re treated like royalty. I just love love everything and everyone here. They should organize customer service trainings for other hotels’ staff! Btw, 5 stars is not enough! Thanks 🙏🏾 guys,

Very bad the manager called Charles handling the new year function on the 10th floor was not comparative at all. Ask for the manager at the ground floor also not available so many calls were made she didn't turn up! Surely I will never advise anyone to go there not even my clients.

The most peaceful n serene hotel to date. The view of the Park. The cleanliness of the rooms. Check out the 10th floor. Conducive meeting rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Got invited to Managers' hour cocktail. Awesome experience 👏

Had a dinner function there. Below average buffet offering. Definitely no wow factor. Their premium dining experience was premium in price only. I might have eaten better at kiosk.

Loved the Sky Lounge during sunset, the atmosphere and music was perfect! The staff are great, loved the food and drinks. Overall, such a very beautiful hotel would definitely recommend popping in any day for drinks over the Nairobi National Park or even plane watching.

Do not stay here if you need a good night of sleep. The hotel is nice in appearance although it is a sprawling mess of a facility. Some rooms face a national park which is nice, others face a highway. Restaurants are eh - food is decent but service takes forever and the main restaurant isn’t ventilated properly so there is an insane amount of smoke indoors. On Fridays and Saturdays there is incredibly loud music on the roof until midnight and you will be screwed if you are trying to sleep. Every room in the hotel vibrates. We had to be asked to be moved (and it took a half hour. Service is slow) to a lower floor, which was just as bad. Rooms themselves are nice enough and new enough. Bed is springy but nothing awful. You can do so much better for the same price I would avoid this place.

I had a disappointing experience at this spa with a facial that left my skin overly sensitive. The treatment felt rough, and I expressed discomfort during the session, but the service provider didn't adjust accordingly. Additionally, the provider's demeanor was unfriendly.

Beautiful space, especially the Sky Lounge. Drinking/ swimming/ eating/ partying while overlooking the Nairobi national park. Though they can work on their service, it took sometime for us to be served😕

The room was nice however the bathroom would require some freshen up and upgrade. While the hotel is at the edge of Nairobi park, there is no mention that between the hotel and park, there is a highway that does not feel quite right. Staff at the front desk, restaurant, bar were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Other staffs at the bar were always kind and professional. Tipping is very much in practice at the restaurant as I didn't know that I got looks and rolling eyes a lot.

A very good place for any occasion (be it a business meeting, event or just chilling.) It has a beautiful view of Nairobi national park (from the rooftop) and their services are good. Did I mention their food never disappoints? Well, now you know ☺️

The views of the National Park are fantastic! The meals were delicious and thoughtful. The conference hall was spacious, large projection screens and well balanced microphone audibility. I enjoyed my time. Very very clean bathrooms

Good food, affordable prices. Food is ksh 2000 and below , cocktails are nice..they have adequate alcohol... And they range from 700-1500. I took my leftovers home and i swear my fries had spices when they were on my table but the ones i took home didn't 😂 which is just hilarious to me.

I gotta say, Emara Ole Sereni Hotel is one amazing spot! It's got that classy vibe, and it's right next to Nairobi National Park! You can see almost the whole park from the top floor – what a view! I hung out at their restaurant and the food was amazing! The staff was super nice as well.

Room Was very clean and in good condition. Stay was just ok for the price we expected much much more. The cheaper rooms definitely would make better value. Restaurant lamb chops were very tasty. Spotted an ostrich in the national park across the road. Waited nearly 10 minutes for check in. Seemed to be a problem with guest before us but no apology from staff. The wow room was soo noisy from internal kitchen sounds of crockery and highway as the windows are NOT double glazed. We were bloated from the strong smell of paint as repairs are in full swing. Particular room is definitely overpriced for what you get.

I enjoyed my two days stay, clean rooms, lovely conference services and the proximity to the JKIA is a plus. The roof top Bar offers a relaxing ambience overlooking the National Park and the Nairobi skyline. However i waited for 45minutes for the a la carte dinner order that i found too long waiting time. Kudos to the reception staff though for customer care excellence

Outstanding hospitality: comfy, clean, spacious and game looking views. Strategically located: between two airports, near city, next to industrial area and connected to both express highway and bypass. Prestigeous, impeccable, friendly and personalized services at reception and at the dinning restaurant left a memorable experience.

Went there for a massage and also to gauge how my stay might look like .. this was my first massage experience there.. .. Picked the deep tissue in the peak section.. it wasn't worth it... The masseuse ended up cramping my back instead of relaxing my body got a whole week to get rid of the pain.. For a 5 star.. I expected so much . I however liked the serenity of the place and the pool area was amazing 🤩

Visited on 6 Oct. for a full day conference. Temperature taken but not recorded. Conference facilities are good but no evaluation of the same was asked. We sat at the terrace but were asked to move despite no reserved sign on the tables. No one used the tables during our hour long lunch. Good food.

The place seems to be moving backwards. Service in general needs attention from the reception to the restuarants...food takes a while so be prepared to wait. Menus are visibly filthy you wont want to touch...best move to QRs like the restuarant on other side

From the moment we arrived at the Emara Ole Sereni, it was clear that we were in for a luxurious 5-star experience. The lobby was impressively large, the buffet restaurant was huge and the rooms were everything we could have hoped for. The proximity of the hotel to the Ole Sereni Hotel gave us access to a wide range of restaurants, but we found ourselves particularly drawn to the Eagles Bar & Grillroom for its outstanding and creative food and lovely setup. Despite not seeing any animals, the stunning view of Nairobi Park from our room was breathtaking. However, there were a few points that detracted from what could have been a perfect score. Firstly, while the bathroom was clean and functional, it was small for a property that bills itself as luxurious. Additionally, when we arrived, we noticed that the balcony window was slightly ajar, which led to some mosquitoes in the room during the night and that resulted in some mosquito bites. Finally, the buffet selection at the Acacia restaurant wasn't as grand as we had anticipated, which we were informed was due to low occupancy. Overall, the Emara Ole Sereni is definitely a very good 5-star hotel, although there were a few minor issues that could be improved upon.

Try dining at the Big five restaurant. Stay at the Emara Ole Sereni...the rooms are fantastic. And conference facilities are one of the best in town. Their lunch menu is quite impressive. Food was quite tasty.

Service at the Sky lounge was very slow and poor. Hotel is beautifully built and well done decor plus amazing views. however appetizers were tasteless and that is just sad.

The staff here are nothing short of amazing. The food however is bland, cold and does not meet what they say on their menu. I am posting after 5 attempts at ordering from their menu. Until they get the food right I don’t think this hotel can be considered 5 Star. the rooms are amazing, clean and big and the hotel is in a brilliant location..

  • 3/5 Patience N. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel good decor but the staff do not apply themselves. Mixed tea was not an option for an audience that kept ordering mixed tea. Litter bins are not available in meeting rooms, common areas and tea areas. Directions are not straightforward. It is a struggle for a visitor to Nairobi to access thr venue. Road Signage on the interchange as well as an email that clarifies exit and shows a pictorial image of how to access would help a great deal

I have been here once and I didn’t quite like it. A friend wanted to prove me wrong so we went there again. They have improved their services, the food came after about 10 minutes, I was so impressed. I got fish fillet which was the best, the fries though, they were so hard and dry. The view of the park! Wow!! The serenity, and it’s also very clean and tidy. The sauna was also nice, the massage was… not so bad.

  • 1/5 wanjiru g. 1 year ago on Google
No comment on rooms and location, but the service at the Acacia restaurant is the absolute worst service I have experienced to date. Got my first drink after one hour, thereafter waited a further 1 hour 50 minutes for a meal. The service here is EXTREMELY slow, they apologise with words, but no action is taken to remedy any wrongs besides a pseudo-apology. Unlikely to come to, or recommend this place to anyone.

I had dinner at Eagle’s the steakhouse. The experience was amazing. The view of the park from my seat as the sun set was mesmerizing. The service was great and the food was well priced, presented, served and cooked. It is definitely worth several visits.

The staff and location are great but there are certain things to be aware of. If offered a room on the 9th floor say no, you'll be kept awake by the rooftop bar until after midnight (unless you like to party). The beds and linen are also not the most comfortable. Also, the air conditioning is quite loud which is bad for sleep but good for drowning out the club upstairs. I didn't find it good value for the price.

Horrible place! 5 star hotel with no service. We booked 2 massage & 2 facials. Waiting in the room form 15 mintues. Nobody came. No one awared us about any delays. 0 communications. Same situation at the pool. No service. During the day we were waiting for food menu 20 min then we were waiting to order the food another 30 min. Finally Staff said: sorry no food at the pool today because of the party at the evening. Highly do not recommend this place

Our stay seemed like it would not happen but it eventually turned out well. We had booked a club room facing the park in 254 Ole Sereni which had been confirmed online. However, when we got there, after paying, I decided to ask the receptionist whether it was a park facing room and she said it was not. Imagine we were going to be put in a room other than what we had booked. And she was very okay with it by telling us the place was full and the online reservations team should have told us it was full and no she cannot do anything about it. The attitude was just shocking. I did not expect this from the hotel. Anyway, we asked to speak to her supervisor who was more understanding. He asked her to check again and then decided to check whether he could sort us out himself. Well, Zack the manager eventually got us a room facing the park. Crisis averted. Thank you so much Zack for helping solve that issue. The room was very good and the breakfast buffet was wonderful too. If it was not for Zack, our anniversary staycation would have been ruined.

It was my first time visiting Emara Ole Sereni and I can honestly say they gave me an awesome enough first time experience for me to want to go back. Emara Ole Sereni is a lovely Hotel to spend time at. Best location and view. You want to book a room with the National Park view. If you are a foreigner, you’ll get the experience of your life seeing wildlife in close proximity. It’s also in close proximity to the airport, other hotels and the CBD. Security is great in and around the venue. Gates are properly manned by security teams. Internally, a lady called Florence is a star at her role. She ensures that personal property is safe and follows in case there is lost items. I was impressed how she handled security during the Africa Conference, an event we have on a yearly basis around Africa. Food is really great. However, after staying at the venue for more than 5 days, it’s monotonous as it starts repeating itself once. Don’t miss going to the rooftop, for the views and food.

Hotel came very highly recommended. Would probably stay again if some of the service issues we experienced were resolved with some degree of concern and sense of urgency. Pros - Beautiful hotel. Great first impression - 10th floor bar area with amazing views of Nairobi National Park as well city skyline was absolutely breathtaking. - Ability to reserve 4 rooms the day before check-in ( probably lucked out due to slow season) Cons - So we booked 4 rooms for our group. Unfortunately, AC didn't work in any of them. We attempted to stick it out, tried opening balcony for some air but that didn't help at all and by 3am, I simply couldn't take it. Called Front desk, was advised technician would be up immediately and none ever shown up. When I mentioned it to the desk in the AM, all I got was one of those generic "oh sorry about that" responses with no care or real concern at all - At check out, about 7:30 am, asked to speak with a manager, and was told there was no manager on duty, which I couldn't wrap my mind around, considering the size of the hotel.

I booked a room new year eves at the suppose 5 start hotel. But the only thing that was a 5star was the view of the park. I had a deluxe room and there was nothing deluxe about it, the furniture is out dated, ink pen marks on the closet doors, the room is extremely tiny, nowhere to put your luggage, we had to ask for face towels(only brought 1, so im guessing we suppose to share it), only one outlet worked to charge our phones, no outlet in the bathroom to blow-dry your hair, customer service is extremely slow. Let's not forget how dirty the balconies glasses are, no netflix on the suppose to be smart TV, the art work looks like cheap print outs, the experience is given a 3 star hotel with a good view of the park. The pool is for pictures, you can't swim in it, no jacuzzi. The sky lounge event, was a unorganised disaster. This is a three and a half star hotel, nothing luxury but the entrance 👌

Based on the charges for food and drinks, service could be better.. I had to ask for hand wipes three times and wait for almost 30 minutes to get the wipes... music is a bit too loud on the roof top bar and quite generic, maybe play a bit of jazz or soft music to match the views.

I am a Kenyan with a business in the USA and was excited to be at this place but they treat White athletes better than Kenyans. They had a private section and even after invitations from the athletes the bouncer refused to let me in. Low key white washed. I am disgusted I invited my Kenyan friends I had not seen for a long time to a place that doesn’t support their fellow Kenyans. Even after paying for a bottle service they Straight up ruined my night. If it’s a private event and you get an invite they should let you in and not have a problem with it. As a business woman; I believe management should do better. I was hoping to bring my American kids here for the Christmas holidays as it’s a beautiful hotel but I’m utterly disgusted by the treatment I received. SMH!! Way to ruin a good thing.

The service was amazing. They have a restaurant that does buffet and I loved that they had quite the assortment which ensured you found something that appealed to one. Great location. Very slow service. The Sky Lounge on the rooftop of the hotel has possibly the best view in all of Nairobi. Located at one edge of the Nairobi National Park, this is a great spot for sun downers. The vast park is stunning and peaceful. The pool and the bar area is massive. The hotel is very close to the airport and also very conveniently located for the city centre (on the new Expressway). The service is painfully slow. It is a struggle to get someone s attention to place an order. The delivery of the orders takes even longer. It's a pity that such a nice rooftop bar has such lousy service. The food menu is very limited and odd. The happy hours is very confusing and only certain cocktails are on it. Just ask your confused wait staff before placing the order. We had to send the bill back twice because it was not correct. A real mess wit service. Ignore the service and bad food, just go for the views.

A clean space. Security is very tight and tken very seriously. Staff are professional and do what is needed and required of them. Everything works from taps, doors, elevators etc etc. It's a functional place that gives value for money. And the food, drink and ambience is what you'd expect paying all that you do over there.

Emara Ole Sereni is located along Mombasa road very near to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. I loved the idea that their services are very professional. The view of the Nairobi National park was soo beautiful. The food and the cocktail were really nice. It's a little bit cold if you sit at the terrace but the view of the park and the southern bypass is really cute.

The hotel has a view of the national park. There is a lounge on the 10th floor (Sky Lounge) with a pool, a view of the roads below, a bar, seating space, LPG flame outdoor heaters to keep you warm, and a DJ playing music in the evening. We attended an event that included a three-course dinner on the third floor at Almasi Banquet Hall. The food was delicious and plenty and the hall was well-lit and spacious. There are paintings and photographs captured in the country’s national parks on sale on the third floor.

Recommended for meetings. Quiet and serene. Restaurant is also nice with a good menu. Only thing I didn't like is the loud band at the restaurant, we couldn't hear ourselves. They should consider Mellow music, jazz instrumentals and let the band go to their bar upstairs.

Had an amazing time , rooms are abit spacious than your average Nairobi hotel , the park view is everything especially at sunset. They hotel boasts of an amazing rooftop bar, staff really are polite and patient.
