I stayed at the Hotel Embassy 7days. Yes, it's an old hotel, but what they lack is modernist, they more than make up with their staff. The staff are incredibly kind and incredibly accommodating. It's a budget hotel and provides the basics including hot water. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and the food was good! It's located in the central business district and is conveniently located near almost anything. Uber were usually within 3 minutes, 5 minutes a few times. There's also a 24hr convenience store 2 blocks away. I felt safe walking to the store at night. The market literally across the street exchanges currency. Don't exchange at the airport Lol. Long story short, if you don't need 5 stars, consider this hotel.

Pretty nice hotel, located in the centre of downtown Nairobi. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and nice rooms although kinda small. Very nice restaurant inside. Excellent views of Nairobi all around. Great prices on the rooms. Pretty good place to stay for a decent price.

Excellent rooms and food with good service and friendly staff. I would recommend everyone to come and try it for them self, I’ll promise you you’ll love the place. They also have Italian food if you know you know.

Very very good rooms, very clean the toilet wash clean and good. Friendly staff that puts a smile on your face, and great services. This will be my place from now on, the only place that make you not wanting leave. They also have excellent food, also breakfast on bed. Very very excellent food tast.

What do you want more. For 3200 Ksh you get a hot shower, a clean bed, a restaurant and you're in the middle of the City! Perfect!

Poor service delivery. Breakfast not by 6.30am as said and indicated. Hot shower is not working. Slow response to customer request.

Something to be done in the rooms like TV stands to be put. Study tables and dressing mirrors in the rooms should be installed.

Restaurant area quite clean and nicely done; given this is an old building this is remarkable. Can get congested because the space is small. The location is very central and easily accessible on foot but not ideal.

Terrible. We reservated a standard room, payed directly at the reception and afterwards they told us the standard room is not available, we get another room instead. This one was really dirty small and uncompy. We are so upsad about this. Never again. Don‘t book a room here.

CBD location a big plus. Safe, clean and affordable. We arrived quite early, and they allowed us to check in early. Restaurant has a good selection of food that comes quickly.

Located right next to the Nairobi City Market, which has a good collection of Kenyan artistic products. It is a walking distance of several amenities in Nairobi, including Jamia mosque and the University of Nairobi Towers. The hotel looks old; however, the management has made attempts to keep it in a fairly decent shape. That said, I think it charged more than reasonable for the level of service, but I am no expert in Nairobi hotel fares. Would I spend a night there again? Mmmmmmm, this isn't my first choice, but I might choose it because of its relatively secure location (visually) and close proximity to the CBD.

They have the best,homely, customer care service. They have the best tastes of food. Love their Swahili culture on preparing rice. Their meat too is so amazing. Their environment too is cool and peaceful. Their budget is customer friendly
