Hard to find good bagels in Nairobi and this place fills the need. Sandwich selection is outstanding. Love the seating in or out, you can chill and people watch the car wash or just enjoy. Had two types of coffee and enjoyed them both. Make sure to take them up on their offer to tour the coffee process-quite interesting and neat to see passion on display.

We had a lovely time at this place! We came for breakfast and the experience was nothing short of wholesome! The Mexican coffee was top notch and the service was prompt. The cafe uses recycled glass bottles which was impressive. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a breakfast spot!

Very well designed and a variety of coffee types. The coffee was really good 9/10, I had ice coffee ginger bread flavored and a chicken and cheese bagel. The prices are decent, coffee is around $5-6 and bagels $6-8 . I definitely recommend this as a place to grab a snack and drink with a friend, have a meeting or just work from.

Coffee coffee and coffee ☕️ I would recommend this place for coffee lovers like me. With no coffee machine, you’ll experience different types of making your cup of coffee. Whether you want it hot or iced, they have it. The service is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The guy behind the counter knows his coffee- he explained well how things work and which brew could give what type of taste. And yes, you can ask for a sample as well 😜. It can be a bit expensive but it was worth it.

The bagels are nice and fresh and the service team is really friendly. But please only go for the coffee and the bagels, they are niche. My cream cheese bagel was great. Nice place for a quick bite or catch-up with a coffee lover

They do fancy (and excellent) pour-over coffee like V-60, Chemex, etc. and make great bagels. They do not have an espresso. I had a toasted seed bagel with some herby schmear and it was excellent. Also, the restaurant is not locked behind a gate and guard, it is open to the road, which is a nice change from many (most) businesses in Nairobi. Plenty of outdoor seating under a shady tree to watch the bustle of the street.

Don't look anywhere else for bagels in Nairobi. Exemplary. A must visit for coffee lovers. Got to learn more about coffee brewing and our drinks were superb. My only problem is perhaps the location, it's next to a car wash so you could bring your car as you grab something to eat or coffee as you work or study. Extra plus was the service, great product knowledge. Overall superb experience

This is by far one of the best coffee spots I have been too ..... first of the decor is amazing it’s well laid out with both inside and outside tables. They actually do give you a tour of various coffee making processes hence to understand better what types of coffee they offer. It is very ambient so if you are looking for a place to relax or get some work done I highly recommend it.

If you’re a coffee lover, you should make your way there now😄 Very authentic and well brewed coffee. The waiter who served me took his time to explain the types of coffees they serve which I thought was very kind. The bagels are also very yum! Good environment for a solo date or business meeting or short hangouts. Bagels price range 500/- coffee 500/- to 800/-

So, I’m on a boda cruising through the city, trying to get to town in the fastest way possible, then the boda guy gets onto lenana road and at the periphery of my eye, I see beauty, whimsical beauty, it’s the warm tinge of the string lights dotted in this small café. I call my friend Brenda and we book our calendars. Months later, here we are😊 It’s location is in the cosy, plush sides of Kilimani, right next to a carwash, so you can pick-and-go your coffee-and-bagel or sandwich/burger for that matter. Coffee lovers would find heaven here as that’s the specialty,(with their own grown coffee beans) We had flavoured iced coffee, (hazelnut & vanilla) & (caramel & gingerbread) which was a delight to the palate. The burgers/sandwiches are so good, honestly. Well done, I literally have no descriptors for the food experience. The customer service was amazing. They all had edgy looks, and ugh, it fit the whole aesthetic! The wall art, the playlist on the stereo, choice of homeware. My heart was soaring! 10/10 would recommend. It’s accessible via car/on foot/ on a bodaboda. It’s literally a stonethrow distance from yaya centre. I don’t think there are matatus on that road. On the prices, it’s on the higher end/than your average café at least. I’ve also included shots of the menu

My wife went to get breakfast for us. I wanted the steak bagel and she wanted the salmon. They informed her they do not have the stock and cannot sell it. It was 9:30am in the morning. My wife called and told me so I ordered the Chicken cheese bagel. She brought it home and I discovered it was Tandoori chicken. Why would you spice breakfast bagels with tandoori and Indian spices? Did not eat it. Very unpleasant. Very weird experience. Will not be going back.

Literally from the name of the cafe it just serves coffee and bagels It has a variety of house brewed coffee and freshly made bagels I had the cinnamon and raisin bagel with cream cheese and I really liked it. The ambiance isn't the best because it's next to a car wash but you can easily drown the noise with some good music over your headphones . Enjoy your time at coffee and bagels

Doesn’t serve anything to drink other than just coffee. Had to leave multiple times after arranging meetings there with clients not drinking coffee. No sparkling water, no tea, nothing.

Love the coffee. Each type is served differently, it's an experience to try different sorts and flavors. Don't love the bagels.

One of the best coffee places in Nairobi. In last 4 visits they never had salmon, so maybe time to remove from menu.

  • 1/5 Natalie R. 6 months ago on Google
The service is always so bad and unfortunately they pretty much never have all their menu items in stock. Could be a nice place if they improved their service and at least occasionally offered every item on their menu

This was such a lovely place!!! It literally serves coffee and bagels. Loved the ambience, the service was very good, food was amazing and the price was mid range. I loved how I enjoyed the coffee as I watched traffic move by. Overall score would be a solid 7/10. I'm definitely coming back.

Great coffee ☕ brewed in rustic style; tasty and tantalizing to the palate. Awesome ambience leaning heavily on country and old school. A stopover I would recommend, offering value added service from the neighbouring outlets.

Nice ambience, great coffee! Amazing place, you can have your car washed as you sip on some coffee. The complex has other facilities like salons, barber shops, water shop etc where you can do lots of errands in one place.

Best place to have coffee. I miss the salmon that they no longer have on stock. All the same their BLT has been a new lovely favorite

The coffee is amazing. Had the medium roast since I am not a coffee nerd and prefer tea but it was really good. Really quiet inside despite the Nairobi traffic zooming past on the busy Lenana rd. The wholewheat bagel 👌🏽 Great little spot!

An exotic coffee restaurant tastefully finished which claims to grow and brew own coffee. They have freshly baked bagels of different variety. Only down side is the apparent luck of parking

Delicious specialty coffees, a cut above most other coffee shops in Nairobi but also a bit pricier. Pleasant open-air seating available in front. Friendly service.

Stellar experience from the coffee story to the taste. And the bagels...., just a delight. Good open location with a car detailing station butchery and more... not a bad place to wait off the trafficking.

This place is super cute. The coffee is excellent. I had a bagel and cream cheese. The server was ve attentive and I love the whole aesthetic of the place, even the serving materials and cups. It is a bit pricier than other places but the bagel and iced coffee was excellent. Nice open air seating area. Just a note the menu is literally limited to coffee and bagels.

It´s possibly one of the best coffee brewing places in Nairobi, it has a nice sitting area and the staff is very tactful and pleasant. It´s not until COVID 19 started that their management decided to introduce a very strange rule of "not sharing" coffee, meaning you are forced to ground an entire pot of coffee alone, without possibility of sharing it with a friend or a loved one, knowing that the least amount in their menu is 450 ml pot!!!!!!!. At this point it doesn´t matter how scientific the brewing process is or how beautiful the ambient is, coffee is all about sharing but the management chose to sacrifice these beautiful moments we may create in their place to increase their sales. I´m very much disappointed, thumbs down Coffee and bagels!!

I got extremely bad service from Coffee and Bagel. The waitress who served me today was rude and I had to go out of my way to even get the bill/service that is expected from a regular restaurant. Unfortunately this kind of service overshadowed the food experience and makes me not want to try it out again. I hope this can be rectified for the next customer who comes to your restaurant.

The ambiance and food are really great. I only have an issue with the service. You will be served according to the waitress mood of the day as well as the manager there called Muriithi who is mostly cold and rude. The other employees are always seated sulking when the owner is away. I hope it will improve coz it is a nice place.
