Google maps gives wrong direction to the field. Otherwise, Rowland is a good field for training. There's equally a nice camping site. Hey.... And just when I was about to post this comment.... Some baboons appeared on my windshield. What a surprise.. Awesome encounter.

This is your ultimate location for camping, or out of town getaway. Facility is managed by the Scouts Movement Kenya. Has space for team building and hiking. Groups can do camping, and their own catering.

Decent camping grounds in serene environment tucked somewhere in Kibra. Secure, ideal for overnight camping, bonfires and sporting activities. Pool still dry since COVID.

It was such an amazing place...I went there for a two day camping seminar...it was a blast..my best and most memorable moments was the cave...manh!!! If had the opportunity to go there again and again...why not😍🙈😏. Would recommend this place 💯💯💯💯

A good place to have borne fire but the room are pathetic,..My wife and our infant wouldn't spend the night in the room.

It's vast and lively. This place can host like 10 events spontaneously. Loved it. However, I wish it was greener.

A good place to be mostly out door activities you get to enjoy while in Rowallan scouts center and you get to interact with Nature.

Rowallan is a beautiful home🏡 for Scouts located within Ngong Forest in Nairobi. The environment is serene, an ideal camping get away when in Nairobi, but when you camp there you have to look out for the monkeys, otherwise you'll lose your ⛺ camping gear.

Nice and cool

Solid location for everything from a picnic with friends to a festival. Just ask those that attended DAWA SESH FESTIVAL 2021. However, the management needs to get the security guard in check. He frustratingly held event attendees at the gate for close to an hour with no explanation on Sunday 5th September 2021. It took forwarding the case to the administration for a feasible solution to be found. Such hiccups ruin the all-important customer experience that breeds loyalty and generates a cult following.

It's great place to relax

The camping ground is great. However, the washrooms could use some thorough cleaning, repair of the toilet flushing systems and sink pipes. The guides should also be clear when setting expectations of the small hike to the cave to enable people plan themselves appropriately for the experience.
