Waine
is
a
very
modern
and
elegant
boutique
hotel
in
the
Nairobi
suburb
of
Karen.
There
are
11
rooms
in
the
main
building
and
2
cottages
with
very
nice
grounds
and
a
pool.
This
is
a
quiet
residential
area
of
many
upscale
private
homes.
At
one
time
this
was
someone
private
residence
and
you
can
imagine
how
exclusive
it
was
in
its
day.
We
were
very
fortunate
to
book
the
Malaika
suite
which
is
in
the
center,
upper
level
of
the
hotel,
with
the
smaller
rooms
on
each
side
of
us.
My
quess
is
it
is
about
1000
sq
feet
and
furnished
very
tastefully.
The
service,
food,
ambiance,
decor
and
appearance
of
this
hotel
is
first
rate.
The
staff
goes
the
extra
mile
to
make
you
comfortable
and
feel
special!
And
certainly
made
our
stay
very
unique.
The
hotel
is
close
to
all
of
the
local
sites,
elephant
orphanage,
giraffe
center,
etc.
If
you
are
fortunate
enough
to
stay
here
it
will
be
with
no
regrets.
