Highlands Suites was pretty amazing. The customer service was amazing. My wife and I stayed there for a week and will gladly come back. Everyone from Kogi to the caretaker Julius, the awesome housekeeping guy(I forget his name) to Benard, Nima and everyone else at Pete's Cafe downstairs. They all made us feel very welcome. The pool on the top floor although a bit small was a perfect place to relax all afternoon. Only complain, although it's no fault of the property, was day time construction noise. It got a bit loud but like I mentioned it would not prevent me from returning. Also we could have used a fan or Air Conditioning as the nights were a bit hot. I mentioned this to Julius upon check-out and he said he would see to it. The property is very well kept. From the water feature outside Pete's cafe to the tastefully furnished apartments and I think most importantly ample parking in the basement. It would be a disservice if I didn't mention that it is walking distance from Mama Oliech where they serve some of the best food I've had in a long time, and Yaya center. I will be back. Highland suites is an apartment lodge, with available cooking utensils for self cooking.

Amazing property, great location, fantastic staff, and wonderful environment. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The pool, the gym, the apartment. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed about five weeks and enjoyed ourselves the whole time. Highland Suites is definitely a high recommendation, and I will stay here on every future trip to Nairobi. Close to Yaya Center, lots of great stores and restaurants, and a vibrant surrounding area. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere. This is the place to stay in Kilimani.

I was in Nairobi for a wedding from 12/17-12/27. Highland suites is extremely clean; housekeeping cleans everyday except Sundays. The place is very modern and extremely beautiful. The staff, including front desk and housekeeping, was very nice, prompt, and accommodating. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for most of the stay and then I moved to a studio when most of the family left. Both apartments were very clean and spacious! Another thing I loved was the location. It is located only 5 minutes from Yaya center. It is also easily accessible so uber drivers are able to pick you up right at the entrance. Tip: The front desk staff can even call uber for you! Having a restaurant downstairs(Pete's) is a brilliant idea. The idea of not having to leave the hotel to get food was very comforting. Their food was delicious and customer service was excellent. They can deliver the food to your room or you can choose to enjoy your meal sitting on the beautiful patio. The rooms also have a little kitchen area if you choose to cook, and as an added bonus, housekeeping cleans your dishes for you. Coming from America, safety is a serious concern for me. I felt very safe when I stayed at this property.There are 3 security guards each shift and they're constantly walking around the property. They screen everyone that comes into the property. During my short stay at this property, I saw the owner there a few times. It's good to stay in a place where the owner is very involved and passionate about his property; this ensures that clients are getting the best customer service. I highly recommend this property for short term or long term visits! I can't wait to come back!

Nice Coffee shop. Ideal for business meetings. The food menu is fairly rich. Good location with enough space.

Ambiance at a high notch

The staff are nice friendly and really quick to sort any issues you report. That was the positive part of my experience and the food is good as well. The internet is terrible, it just doesn't work.

Very chilled and relaxing place

Wi-Fi is not good. This place is average. Nice stuff but things need updating and maintenance. Washer and dryer for building is not enough. Staff are all lovely people and definitely keep the place clean. Never understood is this a service hotel or are guests homeowners? Do they supply toilet paper or not? No hot water. Kitchens are inadequate for long term stays. Could be better.
