Mishkaki: very dry, not worth the price. 1/5 2. Chicken tikka: decent fare: 3/5 3. Masala chips: not up to the mark: 2/5 4. Tamarind juice: extremely sour: 2/5 5. Shish kabab: decent fare: 3/5 Price would be considered steep considering food quality. Ambience is good. Food is Halal. In a nutshell, therefore, BBQ Kitchen have a good location, very good setup and ready clientele for BBQ cuisine in Nairobi, but need to seriously up their game on food quality and taste.

A neat local joint with good food. The prices are a little on the higher side but it's not exorbitant. The service was timely, very warm and friendly. The food was also quite fresh.

The food was not fresh at all. We waited for our food for almost an hour. Although it has a good atmosphere. Cats are very disturbing.

We were a group of 5 adults and among us we had the chicken tikka, poussin chips, naan and gizzard curry. The food was really good. The owner is a really pleasant guy. The only reason this is not a 5-star rating is because we had to wait between 30-40 mins for the food. Perhaps it would be better to call ahead and place your order. I would definitely go back for the chicken and to try other things on the menu. Oh, and the tamarind juice. I would definitely go back for this as well.

I went with a friend last weekend. The place is simple, cozy and authentic. I loved loved the food, we had been on a road trip and we got there very hungry, we did not have to wait for long. I had Poussin chicken & Masala chips and took away Chicken Tikka, Sheesh Kebab and Keema Chapati and I loved it all. The tamarind sauce is just thee best!

Their tikka is so sweet and tender! I was really impressed. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I found the size of the chicken a bit small for 500/-. But then they compensated in the amount of fries they gave me.

They have some of the best steaks I have eaten in Nairobi. The vegetables fresh and tasty. The fruit juice was also very fresh. The service time was reasonable and the staff were very friendly. The food prices are average, not too expensive. I will definitely visit again.

The entire food experience was a delight. Bacon and pear croquettes, Thai chicken wings, steak full of flavour and a coffee and chocolate stout cake that hit the spot and rounded out this truly delicious meal!
