The hotel is beautiful and was impressed by the valet parking system. Service was great and the staff were welcoming. We dined at The other room which had great ambience and a swimming pool within the restaurant which was beautiful. Service was a bit slow though, but the place was packed. Food was absolutely delicious and the cocktail which was suggested by our waiter. Had a great time and the experience was lovely.

I visited Copper- The Urban Grill for dinner. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Social house. They have valet parking. Was very impressed that the chef catered to us despite arriving late. I enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the timely service. It is a beautiful place to visit.

Staff is very much friendly. There are rooms available for overnight stay at very economical rates. One must visit with your close friends or family here at least once while in Nairobi. One thing I do appreciate any restaurant I visit is a waiter that knows the menu well & can advice you. From my experience the waiter was well conversant & the food was finger licking good. The steak was tender & well presented. The cocktail were 10/10. Awesome place!

Social house is like an uptown restaurant/cafe/hotel all wrapped in one. Located in a good area. I admired how courteous and quick their staff are ready to assist. They also have a nice lounge where you can hangout with a friend over coffee or work on your computer. I would recommend it.

The social house is only a few weeks old but it promises to be the most sought out place in Nairobi.

Spent my 6th year anniversary at Social house....specifically Copper restaurant....the food was amazing and the service was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the pork chops, Oreo cheese cake, Inca fries, wedges....among others. Very classy. If your looking for a place to have a meal with that special someone....Copper restaurant kills it.

My patner and I visited The Other Room, and were amazed at not only the quality of food but also the service. We had the pleasure of meeting Christabel who offered us the best service and went an extra mile to show us the meeting space. We had salmon and chocolate fudge for dessert and they were all amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment.

We have stayed here over the weekend. The interiors are really beautiful. However, the music downstairs played till 6 in the morning. I couldn't wait to go back home to get a proper sleep. Something has to be done about the music all night.

The greatest value of this place is the people who work here. Very friendly, attentive, caring. And for me very beautiful, I study women's hairstyles with admiration. Everyone has a very good sense of style. And also the hotel itself, very stylish, fresh, comfortable. It was difficult for me because of the acclimatisation to immediately appreciate the cuisine. But the juices and fruits and vegetables...I never had such flavours. Likewise, the meat dishes and other complex dishes I tried were worth a try, very tasty! I feel bad about boring my portions, but kudos to the chefs.

Nice hotel with a great vibe and super friendly and welcoming staff. Good selection of foods for breakfast. Coffee is excellent. Rain shower in the room is a dream. Beds are very comfy. Pool is nothing special but we also didn't make any use it because it was quite cold at that time in Nairobi.

I have been to the social house several times now and I’ve always had a great time. However, my most recent stay was fraught of administrative fraud, with the hotel overcharging me nearly $1,000 and only offering a mere $20 credit for the mistake. This has soured my experience and, unfortunately, I will not come back.

The service so far has been AMAZING. I would say 12 stars, not only 5. We came in late last night and they have been so hospitable. The building is very safe with so many security measures and the rooms are beautiful.

We had our annual end of year hip hop themed party @TSH and the experience was amazing. The food was delicious! Shout out to @Makena for ensuring a flawless event and to @SamgMaina for keeping those drinks flowing. Our waiter and waitress were on top of their game! The ambience there was just right! I attended a very chill jazz brunch on Sunday with friends The saxaphonist was dope along with the female DJ. The vibes were nice, the crowd well dressed, the venue, clean upscale atmosphere. The calamari was just ok, salmon was very nice moist and flaky. I enjoyed the fries. I want to try the upstairs Peruvian restaurant next time. This is a must see place black Kenyan owned and operated. I'll be back!!!

Cons: First time I visited this place the service was horrible we were a table of 12 and it took forever to get our drinks orders placed. Our food was brought cold and the beef was too tough accompaniments came in way later and the orders were mixed up. Two people in our group ended up not being able to place their orders because there was too much confusion. Parking can be a nightmare the two times I have been here parking has been an issue. Pros: Place is beautiful and for gin cocktail lovers they have a good selection of gin cocktails. The cocktails are the main reason I went back after the first time. Second visit service was better but this time we were only two and the restaurant had way less people than the first time.

The social house Naiorbi. Its a perfect place to go for dinner and also hold any kind of event. From birthday party to baby shower you name it. Their for is exceptional and very yummy. The drinks top notch. And if you also want to party at the top floor they have a club.

My friend were hungry so glad we didn't have to go through a long selection of options for a meal choice, but if you're looking for a variety of cuisine, we were told that the Peruvian restaurant is our best choice but would have had to reserve a table. Noted for next time. 👍We had the meat platter. The chicken, pirt ribs and goat was yum. 👎The meat platter was to have lamb but they didn't have it so they added breaded chicken wings 👎Downer 🤨. I could have had KFC! It only came with two pieces of pork ribs. 👍The cocktail and mocktail was recommended and those were just perfect!!

My affairs at social house was for my birthday party. I took the garages space on the 5th floor which first of all had AMAZING views, great surround system and amicable privacy. The food was incredible and on time! The waitress Patricia who was assigned to the party was diligent, present and HELPFUL. I give her a 10/10. I literally did not worry about anything! A huge shoutout also to Makena, Kevin (the mixologist) and Brian for direction and help. You all made it a very memorable evening and I HIGHLY recommend anyone to host an event there at reasonable pricing.

Used for a 3-day workshop for 25 people. Excellent and flexible facilities - homely, welcoming, inclusive feel. Staff are accommodating, quick on their feet and "warm" in their greeting and interacting with all visitors. Food, snacks etc. generally on-point with a few slip-ups here and there - minor, though!

What's not to love? The location is central, the rooms are clean, spacious and have great amenities. There are several restaurants on site, along with a coffee house and bar/lounge. It's excellent for short or medium term stays and I'll definitely be back!

The menu is interesting and the food was good. Excellent service and quick. The view from the top is lovely. There's a choice of three restaurants with different cuisines. The decor is stunning with a lot of historical items. I enjoyed it and would definitely go back. There is even a stage where they host performing artists and theatre companies.

Loved the ambience and vibe! It has a mature crowd so folks like us felt at home! I was greeted at the door very warmly by a lady rocking a cool shaved look- didn't get her name but she made me feel extremely welcome! The food is amazing especially the spicy fries! This is a MUST VISIT!

First impression was great especially as they offer valet service. We dined at the Copper restaurant. The food and service was great. I don't think I've been to a restaurant with a complimentary starter that was that good. I also loved their rice with the mushroom sauce accompaniment.

The service was good and the meals too.My date really loved his salmon and i enjoyed my chicken. I can't forget to mention the lovely live band by the pool side as you dine.The only hustle was parking,there was a lot of traffic getting into the location but luckily they were doing valet parking.

I would say that this has been the best hotel that I have stayed in. It was just different ranging from the layout of the rooms, to the feeling that you get in the hotel. It is like staying in a place with multiple businesses running differently, but yet, together. The finishing of the hotel is also different from what I have experienced in other hotels. The gym needs to be expanded though as it has only one of each equipment, thereby limiting the number of people that can work out at a time. The ground floor restaurant also needs to improve it meal options. Otherwise, it was a great experience

Came here for a quiet birthday lunch. The waiter figured out it was my birthday because I mentioned it in passing. Just as I was about to leave they surprised me with a birthday desert. This is a bar masquerading as a hotel and restaurant especially on the 5th floor. Know this and know peace. Plus one hour wait for food. Served cold. It was just okay , the place was just "good", too congested in the lobby and corridors, very noisy , the only available quiet zone was The copper restaurant. The food here @ The copper restaurant would rate it 3/10 which is actually very generous. We ordered the mixed platter after a recommendation by one of the waitresses. At a cost of 7,000 kshs worst mistake as it was the most undesirable food platter ever presented from presentation to taste . The wine we ordered tasted like it has been opened for hours and hours as it was flat , passion juice was not available, the masala tea though was great. The Sangria drink we ordered was bitter not the usual sangria you get in high end places for a cost of 1,000kshs it would have been better. As for the rooms here I reserve my comments, my rate is 5/10 . I personally don't think it's a place I would visit again or recommend for anyone who values a well presented meal , calmness ambience wise or one who just needs a place to get away for a silent weekend. Despite very high security at the entrance where we have sniffer dogs and a few minutes of checks the place just felt off with the high congestion at the Lobby and corridors ... My thoughts with the high charges one would expect far much better than what we got .... overall ratings 2/10

The hotel is located in a convenient place near the road. The security is tight and the attendants are welcoming and kind. Best for all types of events both casual and professional.

One of the best city hotels I’ve stayed in anywhere. The place looks clean and modern whilst still retaining its character. But my favorite things are the small touches that show someone has clearly thought through how to make the experience as nice as possible. Things like the warm greeting and free drink on arrival, and good quality items in the room like hairdryer, lotion, and dressing gown (as opposed to the cheap stuff most hotels offer). Only potential downside is that it is in a residential part of Nairobi with not a huge amount to do within walking distance.

I initially booked 2 nights with breakfast at this hotel and informed them I am not able to have the breakfast but I will be extending for another 2 nights so would appreciate if they can roll it out for the additional 2 nights and they advised it’s not possible. At 40$ a breakfast it’s more expensive than George sanc. In addition to this they did not refill amenities so I had to constantly call for it to be refilled. The front of house staff were rude and upon check out ran after me shouting to please come back, the only good thing was the kind staff in the restaurant. The female manager was the rudest, disappointing for hospitality and more like one of their jail cells where everything is a cost. Also bathroom area of the rooms are not functional.

From the moment I walked in they made me feel like a cash cow. They wanted to charge me 75% of my room rate for an early check-in at 11h30, despite having rooms available. I declined of course. I booked a double room but they wanted to charge me $70 to have my partner stay - even though I had already booked a double room. Eventually we agreed on $30, solely for some extra towels and bathrobes, since breakfast was not included. There wasn't even any shampoo in the room, and they were stingy with the water. Check-out is at 11am and they're really on your case to make sure you leave on time, with calls to the room and WhatsApp messages. For close to $200 a night that we ended up being charged it's not really acceptable. Hotel is nice and rooms are comfortable, but the service just ruined everything. I will not be staying here again. Trademark Hotel, where we stayed the previous two nights, was much better.

Can’t say enough about this precious boutique hotel in Nairobi. It’s so central, near a mall, close to Karen, great restaurant with stunning seating and a level of service that is unparalleled. Their rooms are equipped with high end kettles, French presses, you get thoughtful welcome treats and complimentary robes that you can purchase after (I strongly considered it, they were a game changer). I’ll be staying every time I come to Nairobi.

A cozy location for fine dining. The ground floor restaurants are ideal for those of us who love less noise. The pool sitting area is just a place to get addicted to. They have different live bands on Friday evenings and a saxophonist/Violinist on Sundays afternoon/evening. The staff are friendly and very professional. I enjoyed mushroom Spinach and plantain prepared by chef Hillary. The interior design and deco is just apt. If it were not for my love for discovery I would be here every other day.

However, the service was pathetic A waitress called Judy at the restaurant by the pool was rude, moody and outright condescending. We were literally begging then to light the sun power no one helped. They kept saying they will do it but never did. Judy made the dinning experience horrible she should work on her attitude considering she is in the service industry.

I have travelled and stayed in different hotels and all ....with different kinds of services but none comes close to my experience at the social house. The service was quick and excellent. The staff was friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. Beryl ensured that our stay was without any inconvinience, helping us out whenever we needed anything, and with a smile might i add.My hubby and i are definitely going back!!

A completely different vibe than in other Nairobi hotels. Urban in style, filled with cultural events, not-too-snobbish guests, the Social House feels incredibly embracing! I would gladly revisit.

Beautiful rooms and the kindest service! Everyone here was so lovely. Inca, the restaurant on the top floor, is scrumptious too. Great sushi and seafood 👌 We really loved our stay here!

To be honest, it's the most secure building have seen around Nairobi. They have excellent and friendly security. The crowd is absolute class and I loved it. They've got parking personnel's to help with parking and ample parking. The location is also awesome and their rooftop is also amazing. Anyone who's been to social house can attest to my word. Absolute beauty. Keep it up with your bliss and wish you well in your business. Thank you

My team and I loved the food at The Other Room! The dessert platter is worth it! We particularly appreciated that it was evidently a busy season with many end of year parties but the staff managed to serve our table in a timely manner.

Great place to stay if you also like a bit of ‘international and luxury lifestyle’. It has trendy but charming rooms and a few great restaurants with among others a rooftop bar (INCA). Only downside is that the pool is located in the restaurant area, making it less private. There are also only 2 sunbeds.

We love staying here! The rooms are so nice and thoughtfully designed. The staff are lovely. The restaurants all have delicious food! We look forward to our next time in Nairobi so we can stay here again!
