KICC helipad is such a cool place to hang out and watch as day turns to night. The sunset is to die for. You've got to end your day here at least once. It can get a bit packed but it's a nice experience with affordable rates too.

This building host many national and international conferences. It is also the best place to view the entire city by paying for a rooftop lift ( about USD 10-15). At the rooftop you'll see most of the city and have a feel of Nairobi

Historic and a nice place to be. Entry is free in case you're curious, but you'll have to part with your 200/- (subject to change) to access the rooftop. Remember to carry your ID or passport with you.

Rooftop: Vantage point for aerial photography silhouetted against the sky. The backdrop of the high altitudes of Limuru rolling to the Kapiti plains. Great helipad as well.

Was here for the Africa Climate Summit, witnessing the signing of the Nairobi Declaration. What a venue, the wooden finish at the KICC is outstanding, the security was tight and the water works made the outside even cooler with the breeze.

Well-maintained place. I had a chance to visit the rooftop with friends. The charges are Ksh. 200 per head. The views of Nairobi from the rooftop are breath taking. We even managed to see planes taking off and landing in Wilson Airport. The air at the top is clean and soothing.

There is pretty thorough security checks but the view from the top is worth it. It’s like some how stepping back into a time machine. There is also great information on Kenyan history and culture posted throughout the rooftop and the building, a great place to see the city and learn a bit more.

Great view of the city of Nairobi from the Helipad at the very top. The Entrance fee is 500 shilling and has to be paid by card, there's also an ATM there. Take the lift to the top floor (27th?!) and then it's two more floors up by stairs. The last one is quite narrow. The view at the top is really nice and you have a 360° panoramic view. It opens at 6am and closes at 9pm, so you can also watch the sunrise and sunset from up here. Bring some drinks and enjoy the view.

Probably one of the places you must visit during your stay in Nairobi. The view is good, price for foreigners is a bit high, but OK. What I didn't like is organization of exhibition itself. There are no evident signs where to go and the exit to the platform seems a bit dangerous. The view is amazing.

A world class convention centre of great historical significance in Kenya. The top of KICC is more or less the rooftop of Nairobi, you can view the stunning cityscape that is more breath-taking than down there. It is so awesome that from here you realise how Nairobi has grown within a short period of time. This is a must visit for international tourists as well especially those utterly fascinated by city skylines. The charges are friendly and the staff are always at hand to assist but you will be stopped by security officials here and there but it gives one a sense of safety. It's just awesome.

Its priced at KES 500 per adult for non residents (July 2022) which is cheaper than most tourist attractions. It has a 360 view of nairobi from the rooftop but it's not the tallest building in Nairobi. The whole visit can be completed in 30 mins to an hour depending on how many pictures you click.

The place is so monumental with a lot of activities like workshops, trade exhibitions and entertainment concerts to learn from and have fun. I attended the manufacturing expo and I learned a lot about the local and international manufacturer. Indians are taking over in the manufacturing business. We need to improve our manufacturing sector to be at per with the likes of India and China.

KICC is Kenya's pride. Lies in the Central Business District which is easy to access. The place is well kept and guarded with 24hr security. KICC is a place to visit when one wants to have a view of Nairobi by accessing the top most floor which also has a helipad. The place houses conference rooms and rooms have indoor events. Also outdoor events happen at the premises for it has a large outdoor space for large stages and has plenty of parking spaces to cater for all. I was here for a run that was being held at the place and I loved the place.

It's an historical building, which gives an amazing view of Nairobi city. Almost entire city can been seen from this building helipad. It's free for Kenyans or very minor amount of charge. Where as for foreigners it's a bit more but not expensive. For the charge we pay..the view from the top is worthy. Good choice for a weekend bucket list.

It is a fascinating place especially for school trips in primary school..like come see the tallest building in Nairobi cbd as they used to put it. It hosted the recent Mater Heart Run for 2022,it was spacious and security was tight at the entrance. The event was fully packed, the emcees of the show were entertaining for kids and teenagers and adults as well.

We had a delightful time at the Ceramic Exhibition held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi. Centrally located and boasting impressive infrastructure, KICC made for the perfect venue for such a creative showcase. Aside from the fascinating ceramics, we were pleasantly surprised by the KICC's cafeteria. Their selection of Indian food was particularly delicious, a welcome surprise for us. The overall experience was truly enjoyable, leaving us with lasting memories of both the art and the venue's hospitality.

Kenyatta International Conference building. I went directly to the Tin Tin Chinese restaurant on the ground floor around 4pm on a Wednesday. I was the only customer in the whole entire place. Food was decent but upgrades could make it better. My noodles were closer to a Ramen type instead of a higher quality establishment. I enjoyed the atmosphere and motif of the restaurant. 🇺🇸

Be careful here. I came here and the guard at the door told me to leave my passport with him and I can then enter to purchase tickets to go to the top. That was too shady and so I took my passport and left. Don't ever leave your passport with anyone.

It's a very nice place and has a very scenic view of Nairobi when you get to reach at the top. Best time I would say is evening as you get to see the sunset 🌇 and really get that feeling of what it's like when Nairobians are heading back home. It maybe a lot quieter though depending on the day and time though. Overall, I think it's money well spent to get to have some memories and pictures too (let's not forget) for future reference. I will be going back again soon or multiple times and see what changes the city 🏙️ will be having at that time.

The Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), formerly the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, is a 28-story building located in Nairobi, Kenya. The KICC is located in the City Square of Nairobi, and is a crucial address for a number of Government offices, including those of recently elected Senators. It is an internationally renowned venue for conferences, meetings, exhibitions and special events within walking distance of several five star hotels. During its four-and-a-half-decade history it has been the host of several international conferences, seminars, exhibitions and summits. The KICC is ranked as one of the top places to hold conferences on the continent. After completion, the building held the rank of the tallest building in Nairobi up until the construction of Teleposta Towers. The building has since then ceded its position as the tallest tower to a host of other newer projects including the UAP Old Mutual Tower, Times Tower and the Britam Tower, which is the tallest building in Nairobi as of 2020 I been there to times to participate in some dental exhibitions related with my company business.
