The
Pharmacy
is
brilliant,
everything
else
is
not.
AAR
was
initially
programmed
to
service
AAR
insurance
patients
only.
As
they
are
one
of
the
few
sufficiently
staffed
with
equipment
health
care
providers
in
Kenya,
particularly
in
Nairobi,
they
expanded
business
to
other
providers
who
did
not
have
the
out-patient
resources
that
they
offered
exclusively
to
AAR
subscribers.
As
such,
the
service
levels
have
deteriorated
based
on
market
demands.
There
is
an
excessive
amount
of
paper
work
required
before
you
get
treatment,
no
efficient
patient
processing
system
and
it
can
take
up
to
an
hour
to
see
a
GP
even
if
there
are
only
two
people
in
the
waiting
room.
Once
you
have
finally
seen
one
of
the
doctors
available
(trial
and
error
have
led
me
to
pick
three
I'm
comfortable
with
and
always
call
ahead
to
see
if
they
are
available)
it
takes
about
another
hour
to
get
medication
if
prescribed
and
finally
be
processed
through
their
archaic
fingerprint
/
paperwork
rituals.
The
pharmacy
gets
5
stars
as
they
explain
the
medication
in
depth
and
offer
cheaper
alternatives
where
available.
However,
after
that,
you
go
back
to
the
hell
of
the
fingerprinting
and
paperwork
desk
that
is
110%
overwhelmed
by
the
volume
of
incoming/outgoing
patients.
Massive
room
for
improvement
but
I
return
for
the
pharmacists.
Best
time
to
visit,
get
there
15
minutes
before
they
open.
Go
there
during
lunch
hours
at
your
own
risk.
