Kids went for a tour of the farm and then a day of the holiday club. The farm tour is good. Lucy is lovely and engages with the kids very well answering all their questions and has excellent listening skills 🙂. She walked us through the farm. We fed the cat fish and spent some time in the rabbit cage. The tour also has the farm produce walk about and the kids got to identify herbs and plants. The kids holiday club was from 9-1.30pm and very reasonable for the number of hours. The kids got to zip line, make pizza, learn to make a camp fire and a host of other things. Highly recommend both.

Make sure you make a reservation before you go. You wouldn’t go through the gate if you don’t have a reservation. Adults 1000ksh Kids 500ksh For farm tour and play ground. You can order lunch and drinks in there but you can’t come just for that. You must pay for 1000ksh either you take a tour or not. They have 5,6 flavors of gelato everyday. Shop in lavington mall have more flavors. The farm is pretty smelly and dusty, But I really enjoyed the tour. Very good place for kids.

This is a very engaging and fulfilling place for families, especially children. Their curiosities with nature (animals and ecosystems) will be tickled and fulfilled as you watch them beam with joy... we had a good time here with my family. Will be going there soon

I prebooked a space and PAID a week prior only for them to double book with someone else. So a space had to be shared for two large parties. We shouted over each other. My guests were so squeezed and one of the directors, Maryanne got SO RUDE. I had been planning with them for over 3 weeks. They made me pay full deposit to assure that we would have privacy. I preordered food and there were massive delays. The babiez got cranky and the adults were disappointed. If I knew before I WOULD NEVER associate with them. Go here at your own peril and don’t make the mistake of hosting an event here.

Wow!! The place where everyone would wish to visit. You get to tour the place as your get to know their journey towards organic farming. They have open restaurant where you get to taste their pork dish and their signature pizzas 🍕 prepared as you watch. They host birthdays, family meeting, corporate and any other event as you might wish at a very affordable prices. Visit to get a new organic experience!!

My children and I visited Adventure Farm in Karen, last weekend. We thoroughly and greatly enjoyed not only the tour where we saw cows, pigs, geese, sheep rabbits, Tilapia and Catfish but also the whole general ambience of the restaurant and play area. I loved how the tour guides were well trained about the farm life cycle and how well they passed on the knowledge initially during the introduction before the tour and throughout out the tour in bite size pieces of information and simple enough language for the children to understand. My children got to make their own pizza too. The chef was gentle and kind and guided them through the whole process so well. Generally I was highly impressed with all staff members, their politeness and friendliness definitely made us feel welcomed. The food was delicious, we also tried out their pineapple mint mockrail that was highly refreshing. The play area is definitely the highlight of Adventure Farm. They have a kid friendly zipline and rock climbing that kept the children entertained for hours! Simple play area but sufficient. If highly recommend for anyone with children to visit over a weekend. The only reason I'm not giving this place a 5* is because i found the entrance fee pricey. There is a 1k entrance fee per adult and per child over 5, toddlers below 5 and 500kes. However this fee is only for entering their premises and the tour of the farm. Which I definitely don't mind paying for, it was worth it, however for larger families it does end up being costly because food and drinks are costed separately. I'd love to visit again for a fun Sunday afternoon, without having to pay entrance/tour fee since we already had the tour. I asked the lady at reception about this and she mentioned they are working in making this happen after elections. Definitely looking forward to it. I can't wait to bring my whole family ❤️

Messed up our birthday plans by double booking the same space. We had a chaotic event with difficulty moving around. The farm is totally rundown. Pigs are not well taken care of. They have mite and other skin condition. Some piglets are emaciated. If you want to show off these animals, make them worthy of being seen. You have something that has amazing potential.

Food awful. But great place. We started with the visit of the farm with Lucy. It was lovely. The park for children is great and the restaurant is pretty. The juices were delicious. It seems the pizzas are good but as we were gluten free couldn't have it. So the fish was the worst fish I have ever eaten. The chicken was not great. The fries ok. The salad a disaster. We were 6 adults and none of us enjoyed the food. I told it to a nice young girl, nice staff, she could not offer a pizza or an ice cream because the boss was not there. Sometimes to offer something makes me feel guilty to write a negative reference. Beside that they have an interesting grocery: baobab powder, fresh milk, and lots of things. So if you go there order a pizza, fries, ice cream and that's it. The cook started to work there since last January. Maybe he should cook what he knows to cook. It spoilt our day a little. To not eat well could put a group in a bad mood. We were happy to leave. .... It is not an animal paradise. It is a meat farm. The pigs are much happier than elsewhere. But it is not fantastic. What is cute is that they like to be cuddled. You can buy porc ribs at the grocery. I found it clean. And lots of baby animals. So all in all it is positive. The sheep was tied up. No comfortable floor for the pigs. The veal 5 days old had been separated from the mother without explanation for us. Well it could be better. But it is much worse elsewhere. It doesn't seem to have a field somewhere for the cows, etc. You can buy the animals alive by the way. Rabbits etc.

I had a reservation paid 10,500 for the Christmas lunch and all I can is I wish I stayed home. They had no recollection of our reservation nor a table. When my partner then asked for a refund they gave us a table, next to the zipline. THEY go ahead and let kids zipline above us and our kids while we try to eat and the zipline cable touching our kids and there plates. I complain to the co-director and she is least bothered in trying to sort us out . We get irritated and at this point just want a tour for the farm . My partner asks but no response is given . We proceed to show ourselves around the farm cause Heck we paid for food that we didn't eat cause of the zipline fiasco, a tour we were not given and they basically looked overwhelmed, but insist they were not. We left as hungry disappointed people. Would definitely not recommend when they have functions or an event. The sitting arrangement could have been better to allow space for the kids to play and zipline while others enjoy their meal. A 10,500 gone to WASTE.

Summary: Don't bother booking when they have set events eg. Christmas Lunch. Good with kids' activities everything else was below par, well except the delicious gelato. Booked the 2023 Christmas lunch and this being my second time visiting Adventure Farm, I had high expectations. I visited the farm with my family. We were two adults and three children. The welcome was very warm, the staff who were minding the kids were quick to familiarise themselves with the little ones. This was lovely to see and made my children feel welcomed. I also loved that throughout our visit they were friendly and kept the children engaged with fun activities. Kudos to that team. When it came to the food and service in that sector, I have to say, y'all dropped the ball. We arrived at 1:30 and already some items were out. I understand you might have been overwhelmed but seeing that people were booking prior, some items ending that early is not excusable. Also the food was cold albeit it being in chaffing dishes. I also noted some items that y'all had listed on the poster advertising the lunch were missing or perhaps they were already over by the time we arrived for example the beef and the fries. The salads were also over. Honestly, for the amount paid for the adults we felt short-changed. The only saving grace were the kids' activities and the gelato which was absolutely delicious.

Adventure Farm Karen was such an incredible experience. We learned about their organic farming practices from Kaituyu, a skilled agronomist who trains local farmers in addition to growing the food for the restaurant. We enjoyed picking our meal and Chef Andrew prepared the best meal I’ve had in Kenya. Don’t forget to get the gelato, made from fresh milk produced on the farm. Can’t wait to come back!

Really fantastic and fun place to visit with excellent food and well trained service. It’s a shame the restaurant can’t be visited separately, because once you’ve had the farm tour, in our opinion, there’s no point doing it again. Therefore I doubt we’d head there again because of the high fees to enter.

Currently fighting a food coma because the food and gelato was absolutely delicious! We also had a tour of the farm, a circular ecosystem with zero waste - so inspiring!

A lovely day out for the kids. We went as a group of 9 children and 4 adults. We were greeted warmly by a lady named Lucy, she arranged for the tour of the farm. Our tour guide was a lovely man called Nathan. He was extremely friendly and showed the children around. We were able to feed some cows and hold some bunnies. The kids were able to pick some berries before they enjoyed the zip line. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with kids or anyone interested in farm life.

My son really enjoyed the zipline and the animals, sadly the food was not nice. First the pork ribs came cold. Then upon tasting.... it was off, like it was not fresh. I think It had been boiled before hand. The cuts didn't look good either. For a farm the food should be fresh and tastier. I did inform the lady server of my disappointment. So great place for kids I would totally recommend, but unfortunately I left there hungry. So probably go there already having eaten?
