An arts mkt where the prices you get are based on how much you can bargain. Great and friendly people, so much variety to shop gift items for. From clothes to bags to art. I loved it!

The community art gallery collection is a one stop-shop for gifts, souvenirs, and personal collection for it has variety of collections ranging from wooden Carvings, jewellery, paintings, African antiques collection, soapstones, malachites, sisal wooven baskets and much much more, a visit to the shop is a special way of giving back to the society. Meeting the artists doing curvings live, wraps the best experience. I would recommend the art gallery anytime.

The Golden Eagle Art Gallery in Nairobi is a great place to buy souvenirs and gifts from Kenya. They have a wide variety of items to choose from, including paintings, sculptures, carvings, jewelry, and more. The prices are fair, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was particularly impressed by the selection of masks at The Golden Eagle Art Gallery. They have a wide variety of masks from different tribes and cultures all over Kenya. I also liked the fact that they had a number of masks that were made by local artisans. I ended up buying a beautiful mask from the Makonde tribe as a gift for my friend. In addition to the masks, I also bought a number of other souvenirs from The Golden Eagle Art Gallery. I got a few carvings, some jewelry, and a few pieces of clothing. I was happy with all of my purchases, and I felt like I got a good deal. Overall, I would highly recommend The Golden Eagle Art Gallery to anyone looking for souvenirs or gifts from Kenya. Haggling is common in Kenya, and it is expected at The Golden Eagle Art Gallery. Be careful of overpaying for items. Some of the items at The Golden Eagle Art Gallery are overpriced, especially if you are a tourist. It is a good idea to compare prices with other shops before you buy anything. Ask about the artists. The Golden Eagle Art Gallery sells work from a variety of local artisans. If you are interested in learning more about a particular piece of art, be sure to ask the staff about the artist. Take your time to browse. The Golden Eagle Art Gallery is a large gallery with a wide variety of items to choose from. Take your time to browse and find the perfect souvenirs and gifts for your friends and family. Restaurant The Golden Eagle Art Gallery also has a restaurant that serves Kenyan and international cuisine. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend trying the Kenyan dishes, such as the nyama choma (grilled meat) or the ugali (maize flour). Overall I had a great experience at The Golden Eagle Art Gallery. I found a number of unique and beautiful souvenirs to take home with me. I would highly recommend this gallery to anyone looking for souvenirs or gifts from Kenya.

This place has big shops full of handicraft and souvenirs. If you don't have much time and wish to get your shopping done faster, you can visit. Many travels people and drivers from national part take tourists to this place. If you have more time better visit local market in Nairobi you will get same products at cheaper rate. Both the places, you have to bargain a lot. At Golden Eagle arts I found they quote too high. Collection is good.

Great place!! Lots of original and handmade pieces and some nice art for framing .. so it's definitely worth the visit .. the only downside is, it's a little bit pricey even after the bargaining .. I still bought some pieces though .. but could have bought quite a bit more

The best ever place for all your Artefacts needs. The staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable. They also have a Cafe for delicious meals. The pricing of items is pocket friendly. Visit The Golden Eagle and you will never regret

This shop is a shop of ORGANIZED CRIME! I bought a lot of beautiful stuff and asked to send the stuff to my country Russia in May 2023. I have payed a lot of money for stuff and post fees. It is August 2023 and the stuff still hasn't arrived to my country. My email inquiry about the Post number of the parcel is being ignored. My recent email is also being ignored. I really like gallery stuff, but if I was fooled here only for money I will continue to write this bad reputation message every day. Because the stuff is for my beloved parents and I don't like this behaviour.

Terrific assortment of Maasai art - sculptures, beads, painting, clothing - you name it! Added benefit is that this is a small compound, so you do not have to contend with the crowds in the larger / more well-known markets.

lovely souvenir/craft shop with lots of variety, prices might seem "expensive" at first but everything is negotiable and the quality of the products is worth it. definitely ask to pay in shillings rather than USD. they take cash and card. very friendly employees! the coffee shop next door is also great, you can buy crisps/drinks too as well as hot food.

Sebastian is THE BEST!! Always one of my stops in Nairobi. So many things, some I’ve never seen elsewhere and love that he also has authentic vintage pieces. Made shipping easy, everything arrived quickly wi to no damage. All prices very fair! No Nairobbery here.

They have very good food but prices are high (about 2 times higher than in a city) because it's a place where drivers takes turists between the attractions. There are also nice shops with same high prices ;p But I didn't see reasonable prices of souvenirs in Kenya so far ;p

If you want a one stop gift shopping this is it. It’s a community so you don’t have to haggle prices at every stop. Get the stuff you want and then negotiate for the whole thing. It’s worth it. Be respectful and know this is a community so there is a great advantage to not negotiating at Multiple stands. I recommend. If you are a wise shopper and know how to negotiate you’ll Be fine.

This was our very first shop we stopped at after arriving in Nairobi. We were very unfamiliar with the bargaining culture. Alex was kind but really took advantage of the fact that we did not know what a fair price was for anything in Kenya let alone Nairobi. He asked for astronomical prices for the souvenirs we collected even after we tried to negotiate for a more fair price. I’m all about fairness and paying for quality but this was ridiculous. We quickly learned after this experience but would advise against shopping here. Most of the good reviews have come from local guides…. Not a coincidence I’m sure. We wondered after our unfair experience if the guides get a commission by bringing tourists here.

This place do have a lot of handicrafts collection and are very expensive as always in a tourist area... Most of the tour operators take you to this location only... Even though their are so many shops, which are cheaper and also have good quality.. The products are genuine and will be worth it if u got a good bargain. There is a workshop and a cafeteria near buy.. The place is fine for the variety of products available...
