Great service from this hospital. The staffs were very professional and all tests are done in timely manner. The cost is also reasonable. The only downside is that they don’t accept all health insurance schemes. I will definitely recommend this clinic to anyone in Nairobi who needs to replace eye lense or any sight related problem.

They have the latest equipment, meds. This is the best place to get eye tests But for a sit down to be explaned the diagnosis , this is not the place. Dr. Joytee does not have time to explain to you what your diagnosis is and what do in terms of lifestyle. She stares at her laptop more than she looks at the patient. To her it is the number of patients she see in a day.

Had SUCH a terrible experience here. If there was a negative number rating I'd give them minus a million! I'm so upset! Was SO disappointed because this hospital came highly recommended. The first doctor I saw was terribly rude. I'd had a terrible infection but instead of trying to help me I felt he was mocking me asking me what made me think I had an infection. I felt bullied throughout the consult. He then sent me to another doctor who sent me for a bunch of tests At the end of the tests I was told the second doctor had to rush to an emergency. After waiting a long time for her to return I asked if I could see another doctor. I was told someone had gone to call the second doctor I'd seen. She was about to leave, I was told but she could "quickly" see me. I was really annoyed by this because these doctors were not doing me a favour. I had paid to see them! The second doctor "quickly" saw me. I told her I didn't understand the condition she said I had. She sent me off to someone else to explain it to me. At that point I just left the hospital telling them I was disappointed with their horrendous service. I wasn't treated. I still HAD NO IDEA what was wrong with me after almost 4 HOURS of them sending from one office to another. Rubbish rubbish time I had here. I would never recommend this place to anyone else after what I experienced.

The Best eye hospital in India and also here in Kenya. I have been seeing in Dr.Agarwals for so many years, the staffs, the doctor's are very kind and explain very well in all the manners. The place is neat and clean. I would recommend my friends and colleague to come to the hospital.

The hospital maintains high standards of professionalism with experienced staff. Dr. Jyotee saved my eye after I almost lost sight after a road accident. She is treating and encouraging me through the process. I admire the confidence in sorting me out. She’s the best.

The place is decently clean. Most staff are courteous. My issues is with the doctor. I felt like asking questions after scans is prohibited. I was being rushed through. Also, why do you have two other people in the doctor’s room just hovering. I didn’t get my questions answered as to the root cause of my eye pain and I honestly feel it was money and time lost. If you need eye care, go elsewhere.

Fantastic staff starting from the reception and as you proceed on to rooms for check ups the staff there are helpful and you can tell they are experienced and know what is expected of them even as they talk to you. Finally when you enter Dr Joytee's office she is welcoming and ready to answer all your questions and advice on way forward. I can vouch for this facility to anyone who has eye issues like me. I did not get the help I was looking for here. All I needed was a consult, a doctor to sit down with me and talk to me about refractive surgery. However they kept tossing me from one room to another for tests and before i knew it I had such a huge bill of tests without even knowing why I needed all these tests. I went back to one of the rooms to explain my predicament but the doctor was not forthcoming with information. I left feeling utterly disappointed.

I loved the professionalism of the clinic. The split of tasks to different officers, the cleanliness of the clinic, the high tech equipment, the kindness of the staff (except billing), makes the experience comforting. The optics section is thinly staffed and stocked, hardly much variety to chose from but again this is an ophthalmologist clinic not optician. Dr Agarwals Eye Clinic Hospital ranks one of the best in the world - as far as I'm concerned. It puts St Thomas' Hospital in London in the shadow! What St Thomas' Hospital Eye Clinic couldn't do for me for over a year plus; Dr Jyotee Trivedy was able to do it in two weeks. Her team is exceptionally good. The service is brilliant. The staff is polite and knowledgeable in their respective fields. All are determined to get the patient well. Machines (scaning etc) that seem to be rashioned in St Thomas' Hospital are readily available in Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital. I'm still under the care of Dr Jyotee Trivedy. I will be travelling to Nairobi in May for the follow up review. Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital was recommended to me by a (medical field) relative. My right eye was practically failing when I was under the care of Consultant..at St Thomas Hospital. I was truly scared of waking up one day and finding that I can't see anything! My eye was being medicated more than 8 times plus in a day and it was constantly drying up! St Thomas' Eye Clinic was changing the medication regularly. My eye was steadily getting worse and I felt helpless. So sad. However, under Dr Trivedy, I now apply eye drops just twice a day. The dryness sensation is gone and blurring is steadily clearing too. The constant discomfort is gone. As a British citizen, it is sad and pathetic that I had to fly to Nairobi to seek medical treatment. I have paid National Insurance for ever 30 years and it made no difference! I feel sorry for people going through what I went through with no hope of going out to seek for a second opinion. My travelling abroad to seek a second opinion was worth it. I recommend Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital to anyone with severe eye problems. By the way, a branch of Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital is being opened in Germany. Hooray! "Third" world medical expertise has again proved to be better than the "first" world in medicine! The Doctors out there seem more vast in experience in detecting and identifying the problem from day one of seeing the patient. They have more high-tech medical machines than what I saw in St Thomas Eye Clinic. I'm not bashing St Thomas' Eye Hospital. Just exposing what I experienced! I feel that they are treating a "number" and not a patient! Constant statistics is not a cure for anything. Reform and positivity is long overdue in the NHS. Please restore the dignity of patients.

The doctor / staff rushed me out before I finished asking all questions. When out, I was asked to book appointment again after 15 days. On insisting that I need to ask few more questions they made me wait, meanwhile calling other people before me. The procedure of administering medicine was left on staff outside the consultation room. I will never a recommended a doctor who cannot take a few minutes to explain what is wrong and how it can be avoided but insists on talking about it when you come next for follow up.

My experience at the hospital was excellent. The staff are very friendly and professional in all they undertake. The doctors are first class and very gifted. When I went to the hospital for macular hole treatment there was no assurance that I was going to get my sight back because the condition was very serious. Apparently after being operated in by Dr. Sayed my eye sight even became better than the one that did not have a problem. It was like a miracle because I could see very far and I used to be short sighted. After that the other eye had to be operated so that they could be even the second surgery was done by Dr Jyoti and it went well. Now I no longer wear eye glasses which I had been wearing for over 20 years. This is the greatest miracle that I have ever encountered. I would recommend Dr Agarwal Eye Hospital highly to anybody who has an eye problem and the goodness is that they have all the equipment for carrying out tests so you don’t have to be refereed outside the hospital for tests. The different eye tests were done in a very professional manner and the equipment seemed to be the best. Social distancing, sanitising etc was strictly observed, which was good to see. My girl had a condition known as keratoconus(late diagnosis by the AGARWAL'S EYE HOSPITAL),though doctors from different hospitals kept treating her for allergies.They gave her eye drops& antihistamines to help her with skin irritation & itchy eyes!Her vision began to deteriorate in the year 2017,she started squinting,the itchiness became severe.She was unable to sleep well,she missed most of her classes because woke up with swollen eyes after a night of itching!She had problems seeing the blackboard & could not keep up with her notes,class work & even finishing her exams was a big challenge,she became dependant both at home & in school! She started tripping & falling causing injuries on different parts of her body one being a tailbone fracture.I stopped going to work,i couldnt do business because,the school would call me anytime (either she has fallen, her contact lens are acting up,sometimes the eyes turn red &painful)so,I had no option but to go & pick my girl from school!It was a hard & painful experience for my child & I....Finally someone referred me to DR. She dint struggle doing her papers.Another procedure was done on the right eye to stop progression of keratoconus (crosslinking).As at now my girls vision is near perfect,she can see things clearly without the aid of spectacles! I had a most beautiful experience. I felt like I was in a hospital abroad. The reception was easy, clear instructions and Covid protocol observations. The ambience is good. The services are first class and the hospital is very well equipped. We did Various tests and imaging for only 12,000/-... in other hospitals it would’ve been 5 or more s times the cost. The Drs we met were kind accommodating and professional. The building is easily accessible and has parking. Let’s now hope to get well.

Commendable Setup and Prompt services

a real mess, I was shocked to see more than 50 people waiting for their turn at the same time (at 9 am) the doctors had not yet arrived! joke of the century. everyone was moaning because instead of being a little organized no! they asked everyone to come at the same time. it's not a clinic but a vegetable market! sometimes you have to be wary of the comments because the majority have been bought, there is no other explanation. It's shameful

Edited-Please spend a minute to review this. First surgery went well. On our second surgery, the Dr was very rushed during the review session. It felt like she just wanted to get done with the patient and send him home. We paid more than 400K for the procedures. The least you can do is to give the patient the best aftercare and peace of mind after the procedure. Previous review: Great services and friendly staff. Pricing especially for testing should be reviewed and reduced especially for patients that have to keep coming in monthly for chronic issues.

Very slow service. They make you wait for 4 hours even when there are not many patients. They make you do unnecessary tests which are not needed. A simple task that can be done by one person is divided into to 3 people and with each of the different person you are sent to you have to wait for 20 min. The doctor did not even explain the root cause of the issue, did not even check the eyes properly and we wasted 10000 and just ended up doing unnecessary test.

A great and smooth experience. They have the best facilities and also offer the best treatment. I highly recommend this hospital.

Very Processional and one of the best Eye clinic I visited

Excellent facilities, perfect, efficient and friendly staff. Dr Jyoti’s experience, knowledge of her job is so obvious as she treats patients with explanations and confidence that comforts even the layman of what is going on with his ailment. The best service

I had a terrible fungal infection in my eye following a corneal transplant at ANOTHER facility, which was misdiagnosed by the ophthalmologist there, based in Sarit Centre, it had reached a point I lost total vision in my eye and the fungus had slowly covered my entire eye. (The misdiagnosis was that he had thought it was a bacterial infection so I wasn't getting the right treatment hence putting my eye in jeopardy). I found Dr. Agarwal's place through a family doctor's recommendation and some online research. In the waiting room I met another patient who was there just like me because he had lost vision in both his eyes as a result of another doctor's malpractice and like me he was there for a second opinion. If this place is where people go to 'fix' failed surgeries I thought.. why don't more people know about this place and start the right way. Today, after remedial surgery I have good vision, but most importantly I still have my precious eye!! I cant thank Dr. Jyotee Trivedy enough. The entire team at Dr. Agarwals is always very friendly, attentive and professional. The hospital itself is so organised, clean and welcoming. The operation theatre and all surgery procedures are very professional and particular. A day after my surgery Dr. Jyotee especially came in to the hospital on a public holiday early in the morning just to make sure I was doing ok, and recovering well. She won my heart that day as one of the rare doctors who take their profession as more than just that. Thank you to the whole team. Forever Grateful. I had a scared cornea for like 6 yrs and I came to the hospital the doctor advised I get a transplant .The surgery was very successful and my eye is getting better in terms of vision.I am still on Medication that is really helpful.
