Afya Centre is an iconic place in the marvelous City of Nairobi Kenya. Just like Archives is, Afya Centre serves as a bearing of direction for many people It serves as a connection point for people going to the Western part of the republic especially, North rift, South, Kisii County and western regions . For people going to the West of Nairobi City, this is also the go to place.

For anyone who is new in Nairobi, this building is iconic because it is always the meeting point for many people. It is extremely unique because of its colour. The only green building in the city. It hosts a number of government offices among other organizations and businesses. #Letsguide

Afya Center is among the few highrise buildings whose planning leaves ample space around it for pedestrians. The lifts leading to the house too are state of the art and the glass covering the walls give a unique view about town with the diffused light of the glass. The last time I was there, the year 2022, the building housed all manner of offices and businesses. Around the building however, the many matatu/bus stages make travel on foot very strenuous. Nonetheless, the green color speaks of environmental friendliness.

A great beacon/ landmark in Nairobi. You can't get lost when you tell someone that you are at affair center. Popular with Kenyans from Western Kenya. Buses like Transline are booked here.

There is a lot of congestion around the area. The place would be better without the congestion. Plus I'm not very sure about security around the area due to the congestion. Overall it's a nice place.

A good meeting point and good reference point for new people in Nairobi. The unique green colour makes it stand out from the rest of the buildings in town. However, the congestion due to the several bus termini around it, makes it cumbersome and a security scare, especially with pick pockets.

Always overcrowded with people moving helter skelter accompanied by hooting Matatus. The Noise is overwhelmingly loud. Here, you should be careful with your personal belongings with rampant loss of mobile phones and wallets/pouches

This is a business centre and many other businesses run around. At the entrance is the Machakos (Ukambani) vehicles stage, onto the left is the Lang'ata areas commute saccos, onto the far right is the Rongai bus service stage, towards the end of the building is the well-known bus station (BS) where one boards vehicles to Karen area, South B, South C and a daily clothes market is always open. Inside the Afya Center is a one stop and shop best lady (beauty products) and Quickmart supermarket.

  • 3/5 Cray I. 1 year ago on Google
