Ulwazi Place is a terrific place to stay in Nairobi. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The setting is very quiet and secure. The staff are efficient and friendly, willing to help with any needs.

Ulwazi Place has beautifully furnished and decorated rooms, very tasty meals at the restaurant and a scenic location that feels like it's out in the countryside but actually within Nairobi limits. A great weekend getaway for city dwellers needing a quick and easy break.

We had a fantastic time. The fruits and vegetables were GREAT! In a day and age where meat seems to be the only in thing. Don't worry meat lovers the meat was just as good....

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool. The staff also really friendly, from the front desk, restaurant the service is unmatched. The food is absolutely amazing everything we tasted melted in our mouths especially the mild chicken curry. Special thanks to the G.M, Christine , simon chefs and the whole team 🙌. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

Wow!Today,we visited Ulwazi for Covid 19 vaccination and the stay was bomb.The hospitality,staffs,wow!wow!....We've worked with different companies but I can rate you💯.We loved the stay.Thumbs up to the driver who picked and dropped us.

It's a nice place with a art of culture and the name ulwazi it was like a learning or please to learn it's amazing, the food and everyone is friendly.

My family really enjoyed our stay in Ulwazi. The place is very beautiful with great ambience. The family room gives is very cozy, giving you the warm feeling of home away from home. The rooms were very clean and the hot shower extremely refreshing. The host went of her way to accommodate us. We really appreciate the extra bed for our preteen. The food was great too. Breakfast was awesome with quite a variety. Overall, beautiful place with excellent service.

Definitely don't choose them, not only are they disrespectful, they are also arrogant. They work at a place belonging to the hotel next to us, regardless of the hour, and they arrogantly go and ask us to be put there. It's a disgrace. There is no life in a place where there is no respect for people.

Great place. Was there last Sunday for a birthday event and the place is cool, serene and very cozy. The staff were courteous and friendly and did a great job cheering us up with their entrance to the Birthday with song and dance. Highly recommended

The soldiers really harrassed me. Just because I checked in with a small car they didn't want to let me in. They kept asking me whether had come to drop or pick someone. Terrible

We traveled for my husband’s job, but wanted to spend one night together before work began for him. We decided to book Ulwazi Place, and was completely blown away at how “at home”, relaxed, and rejuvenated we felt. Everything from the decor, location of the hotel (in a very quiet and safe environment), our balcony view, the spacious room, and delicious food exceeded all expectations! The customer service was also top notch. Everyone was professional, helpful, and friendly. We also wanted to celebrate our honeymoon period, and they arranged flowers, a lovely note, and non-alcoholic champagne for us to enjoy. We truly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be staying again!

Amazing Service! Very friendly staff and peaceful place to visit. I 100% recommend to visit them.

Lovely and quiet location. HOWEVER, lousy and rude senior management who accused us of damaging items that were either not damaged or damaged already. Took ages to fix an external door lock exposing us to safety hazards as anyone could enter, with senior management only interested in making accusations with no regard to the safety breaches of an external door that couldn't lock in a minors room. Took over 3 weeks fir them to put a lock despite speaking to them a number of times. Other items reported damaged or not working (eg shower issues and dining room light) but either not fixed or took ages to come and have a look. Not responsive to requests and have to ask a number of times eg towel, bathrobe and hangars, which were not provided in the end. Cleaners not provided with proper cleaning equipment (eg given a dustpan n brush to clean the carpeted areas) though they did a good job in cleaning and maintaining high levels of hygiene. Real shame as the location is peaceful n lovely.

I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are excellent, and the staff are very friendly. I would love to come back. I recommend this hotel to guests planning on visiting Nairobi
