As a beginner you don't feel overwhelmed and there is no pressure to perfect every move in the first try which I like. Best Teacher for Salsa! Alex is a very patient and humble teacher. Very professional, highly experienced and has deep knowledge on salsa. His passion and energy are infectious. He takes immense care of beginners like me who struggle or need attention to detail. He personally dances with everyone patiently and rectifies each one's mistakes. He encourages questions and answers each one of them. He remembers each one and personally sees to it that each student grows over time. His course follows a logical framework rather than teaching complex combinations. His classes are recorded for a whole duration and students can rewatch those videos. Also, students in Furor take learning more seriously than in other dance schools. There are also regular Afro-Cuban and Mambo Classes for advanced students. I've attended Alex's Afro Cuban classes and I'm currently learning Salsa partnerwork from him. About the instructor: Alex is by far the most methodical, technical, and professional dance instructor I've learnt from. I'd probably say that he's the best in India as many other instructors across the country have learnt from him and still continue to come to his classes from time to time. Learning from him has elevated my salsa dancing as my fundamentals are much more clearer now and my leads have become smoother than before.
