İf you have tourist visa and if you already stay in Tanzania before never use this border.Officer don't follow government rules ,all officer have own rules they telling you different rules and history , they try to make you afraid until they take what they want.NOT just here all immigration is same . I hope one day Tanzania clean all cheating people and than Tanzanian can grow up because it's really amazing country.

All staff on both the Tanzania side & the Kenya side were wonderfully helpfull, kind, welcoming, polite & smiling. They helped us fill our covid forms (we had our certificates) & to complete all other formalities easily. Totally painless & quick.

Busy place when buses arrived at once you can take at least 45 minutes to 2 hours. If you have your own ride it can take less than 30 minutes. Yellow fever vaccination card is mandatory. Wheelchair accessibility every point.

The border town for Kenya and Tanzania. Its is the northern entry for Tanzania if one is coming from Kenya and the Southern entry is one is entering from Tanzania.

Slow inefficient, needs a lot of process improvement….direct people as they arrive don’t assume everyone know how the process works

Well, generally a well organized place. There were lots of people crossing from either Kenya to Tanzania and vise versa.

As both countries immigration counters are in one hall,it's very easy to cross the borders without any issues. As there was no rush in the morning, it was just 5 minutes to cross over with electronic Visa.

The yellow fever shot was painful, though the staff were nice.
