Not from around town, looking for places and come across this gem on a Thursday night is steak night and there was one dish that caught my eye it was stone grilled steak and it was amazing!!! Shelley the waiter was happy to put though some as unfortunately to limited stock of stones you have to book in advance so definitely make sure you do that as you don't what to miss out on the beautiful steak and views of the water.

We had a family get together dinner at the Island Restaurant at the Golf Club last Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the great views over the river as the sun set. The chef did an amazing job of getting 11 delicious meals out to us - all in one go! The kingfish special and the fresh (not frozen) gold band snapper fish & chips were a standout. Stone steak grill a winner too! Friendly staff, good range of options on the menu to suit pretty much every taste (some vego ones too) & lovely outdoor deck. Thankyou!

Great views. Wonderful menu selection. Have to go back to try more. So many delicious dishes to choose from. Excellent size meal and superb tasting. I had swordfish with veg & salad and my friend had crumbed lamb cutlets. The service was friendly and helpful. Dessert was home-made pear cheesecake with on the side a berry/pomegranates glaze, ice-cream & dollop of cream. Cappacinnos were just right. Very clean, well presented amenities. Wheelchair friendly.

Amazing food and a great view. The ribs and lamb shanks were divine, and loved the chocolate lava cake for dessert. Such friendly staff and great service, would definitely visit again!

Great waterside setting on the golf course. The restaurant serves up well priced tasty food with something to suit everyone.

The staff were very kind and friendly. The steak was cooked to perfection, but the sauce was yo die for. Would highly recommend to anybody.

Barely give this place one star, set in an amazing location this restaurant is a complete waste of space. Plenty of free tables but unless you have a reservation they can't take orders. Seems the RSL is the only place in town with good competent staff and fit to stay in business

Great place to dine and play golf

Great golf course with terrific greens very picturesque being on an island with water views. Well worth a visit or game of golf

Great spot for lunch, food was unreal and we watched some dolphins while having lunch

The Island Golf Club & Restaurant is always a favourite to go to. The food is amazing everytime & the friendly staff are always very welcoming
