Lovely tavern and cafe overlooking the water. 2 minutes walk from our cabin where we stayed overnight. Beautiful decor, food was great and reasonably priced. Huge bar! Gorgeous indoor and outdoor areas.

This is a beautiful place set overlooking the river in Nambucca heads mid northern coast New South Wales! We stopped here for a quick dinner enroute between Sydney and Brisbane so for a day trip it was an ideal mid point in the trip Service was spritely and quick and we appreciated the range of locally caught fish and oysters It is highly recommended May 2023

Service was average. Lots of ignoring the customer. Oysters were rubbish. Kids steak was like cardboard. My Mum enjoyed her grilled fish. I had the chicken parmy. Very dry. Couldn’t be bothered going back to the counter to get salt and sauce. One of those places where you basically serve yourself all but the part where they take your money. Not cheap, but about average for these types of places. Kids’ meals come with ice cream. Nice walk along the water while waiting for the meal. [Supplementary. Note the owner’s comment, which - in my view - is revealing of a lack of insight. An old saying about business structures comes to mind; a fish stinks from the head]

I love that the kitchen focuses on fresh local fish & seafood. We were staying overnight not far away, and this place came highly recommended. A short easy walk. We arrived on Friday night, and it was very busy. It didn't take long for it to quiet down. It appeared, the locals ate and then leave. So we enjoyed a relaxing meal. We loved out beer battered Flathead and Flash fried jewfish. We shared the calamari entree. Very soft and tender! The view during the day is spectacular! I would highly recommend this place for lunch. We did find the meals a bit pricey. The queue to order your meal was long too. But was well worth it for fresh seafood. The only other downside was the lack of tables as most were reserved that night. We found a seat eventually near the pool table.

Great place looking over the water. Very friendly staff and the bar staff even humoured me when I ordered a local and thought I was drinking a VB 😜 Nice seafood, all local and very tasty. Here on final State of origin night and still good seating available. Mains are a bit exe but I expect that from a pub located on the water during school holidays. Definitely recommended 👍

Fantastic food, amazing view, staff friendly, and the place is immaculate. Such an awesome place to have a meal. The kids loved the food and the Misso loved the dessert that much she bought 3 of them. Highly recommend a visit here. Cracking good cocktails as well.

Beautiful views with delicious food. I had beer battered red emperor and the fish was fresh and fell apart easily as it’s meant to. Salad was colourful and tasty, and the chip’s crunchy! Perfect! Clean sunny open space and well worth a visit.

A tidy hotel with a dress circle location over looking the Nambucca River very close to the ocean which is close enough to hear the roar of the surf. A high standard of cleaning I evident from the bar, viewing lounge including toilets. Food is 1st class and not expensive. The beer is cold and the staff are friendly and courteous.

Hubby and I loved this pub. Delicious meals, we had the cheesy bread and the flash fried calamari with delicious salad and slice watermelon . Very refreshing, great views, walk the v wall, watch the world go by with a cold drink. In Nambucca for a week, visited every day we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend. 😁

What an awesome experience! Wow that seafood tower 🤩presentation was very eye catching and every piece was brilliantly cooked and prepared. Oysters were plump and fresh. Can't praise the food enough. Looking around to other diners all the meals looked incredible. Enough food with a couple of entrees to serve our group of 5. Despite being very busy peak season, you felt like you had your own space. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The beer was cold. Just an enjoyable experience.

The V Wall Pavilion at Nambucca Heads has become a favorite dining spot for my partner and me. We never miss a chance to dine here when we're in the area. The food, particularly the seafood and hot chips, is consistently delicious, and the stunning views during sunset add an extra layer of charm. Being just a stone's throw from the V Wall, the location is perfect for a relaxing meal. The drinks selection is great, and the staff, especially Sam, are incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend this place for a delightful meal with a view!

A spontaneous dinner here after a long drive from SE QLD. A very pleasant 10 min stroll along the water from our accommodation. A lovely table on the open terrace to enjoy the sun go down - just lovely. We ordered from the specials menu - my whiting served with chips and salad delicious and hubby’s local reef snapper excellent. A few beers and wine - perfect! Service very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Great beer, cocktails and seafood selection. The grilled swordfish was delicious and a huge portion. Battered fish and chips also great. Lovely lunch and convenient near the beach and parking.

The prawns were amazing, they were humongous and so fresh! I loved the use of local produce, and the portion size was very satisfying. However, it was a self service type counter where you couldnt get table service, and you had to go and grab the food from the counter yourself. Servers were difficult to get a hold of, and the cooked food took ages to come out (granted it was quite busy.). View was excellent though.
