My
friend
insisted
that
I
try
this
place
and
we
have
had
a
few
of
the
items
from
the
menu.
Even
though
I
would
prefer
something/somewhere
else
which
is
more
homely/basic
especially
in
a
place
like
Namche!
This
was
my
2nd
trip
to
Namche
after
2003,
while
trekking
during
the
Golden
Jubilee
celebration
of
conquest
of
Mt.
Everest.
Since
my
persistent
preference
of
Indian
cuisine,
my
friend
wanted
my
honest
opinion
on
the
Biryani
they
serve.
Being
from
Dhaka,
Bangladesh,
where
biryani
is
a
dish
that
we
can
eat
as
breakfast
till
dinner
and
it's
everywhere
-
from
street
vendors
to
fancy
high
end.
Not
ever
found
it
in
any
cafe
in
Dhaka
though.
(if
my
knowledge
is
being
betrayed).
It
was
looking
ok.
I
was
not
very
keen
to
try
since
my
similar
experiences
were
not
very
memorable!
I
am
not
a
foodie
and
I
prefer
budget
food.
The
look
was
satisfactory.
cooked
with
Basmati
rice
and
hid
the
chicken
with
curry/gravy.
Can't
complain,
some
places
in
India
do
it.
My
experience
of
biryani
in
Kathmandu
was
poor.
I
could
imagine
they
have
cooked
the
rice
and
meat
separately
which
is
very
understandable
considering
the
size
and
serving
time
from
the
order.
But
it
may
taste
like
fried
rice
with
curry
if
you
really
want
to
be
critical!
From
the
price
point,
it's
a
hefty
$10.
Again,
its
Namche
Bazar.
Things
come
from
a
distance.
I
thought
its
ok
to
be
priced.
One
liner:
it's
ok
if
you
really
crave
it
and
treat
your
Namche
trip
with
Biryani.
