This is a nice, clean place near the airport. It was very convenient for our long layover between flights. They even had a restaurant, serving delicious food. We ate lunch on site with a view of the beach. Friendly staff assisted with our luggage and transport to and from NAN. They have a nice pool but since it was raining so we didn't get to try it out. The AIr Conditioning cooled the room really well, the bed was comfortable, and they even had a small fridge and hot water maker with coffee and tea in the room. Highly recommend. We'd happily stay here again anytime!!

Staff are super friendly. Stayed in the top floor room overlooking the ocean. You get such beautiful views of the sunset. The room was fairly small but perfect for the traveler on a budget. Had to request for towels upon arrival as their wasn’t any already in bathroom. No television in rooms. Pool table in lobby is extremely old and falling apart. Tables and chairs at the front of beach are perfect for relaxing and eating meals. Cheap massages offered at hotel for $20 FJD. Will probably not return but would definitely recommend for toursists travelling and not wanting to blow so much money.

We stayed two nights at Tropic of Capricorn on our way back home. Hotel is quite old but good value for money. We had a room with sea view, it is a bit more expensive but worth it, would book it again. Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Nicki from the reception. We also had a relaxing kava session with Ben and Sunny - thank you guys! :) There is the possibility to book tours at the desk next to the reception. We had a (quite expensive but definitely worth it) sailing and snorkeling tour to Serenity Island. The view from the hotel room is nice, however, we didn't swim in the sea, it was too dirty (seems the drain water isn't filtered sufficiently and goes to the sea). The swimming pool is old but OK. The kitchen closes at 9.30 pm but there is a 24/7 beach bar/restaurant at a nearby hotel/hostel (Bamboo). At night it can get quite noisy but I never travel without ear plugs, so it wasn't a problem. Summary: For a couple of nights Tropic of Capricorn is very good value for money, for a longer stay and because clean sea water is important to me I'd stay somewhere else (if I can/could afford it maybe on an island with nice beaches).

Beautiful friendly service, free airport pickup, and right on the water. Lovely greenery beside the hotel, which is located just out of town. Not overly fancy, Tropic of Capricorn is affordable, clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Friendly desk staff organize tours, massage and other services. Walking distance to other hotels offering spa, delicious food and nightlife. Bring cash - there is a 5% surcharge for credit cards.

The room is average in terms of size and cleanliness. The ocean view room I got was awesome as I got to enjoy sunset and sea breeze. Customer service is great - their assistance to arrange my bookings and check in was efficient.

The resort itself is great with traditional Fijian food and amazing staff. There are many tours available from the reception. However the surrounding area needs some serious improvement as it would make the resort even better. The horse riding on the beach is fun for $35. Also another resort called Bamboo has a 24h restaurant which is a 3min walk down the beach

We got the room for its good view but after a few minutes there we noticed several cockroaches coming off the ceiling, really disgusting. The bathroom was also quite dirty. The manager gave us a free transfer to the airport and told us he was gonna take care of it, but still the experience was really bad :(

We had a room with a fantastic view up on the top level. We sat outside the balcony and enjoyed the view. There were ants around the place but I guess that's normal to some people. I call the reception 2 nights before our departure for an airport pick up and when we arrived in Nadi there was no one waiting for us. I called again and another receptionist didn't know so he sent someone to pick us up. Food wise I recommend to dine at another place nearby. There is no lift so luggages have to be carried up the stairs. Staff were friendly, the view is great but I won't go there again.

I had a wonderful experience here! I did not want to leave. Air conditioned rooms, comfy bedding, good food, beautiful back area right on the beach. But the staff were my favorite part! The ladies and gent in the reception were very kind and helpful! The lovely ladies in the bar/kitchen were amazing! (Especially since my only form of payment was a very annoying manual credit card!) Get a massage or your hair braided by Maria! Lastly, make sure to find “King” Joe! He’ll make you laugh and smile with stories and kindness. He also does kayaking and other activities for you to enjoy. Can’t wait to come back! VINAKA!! PS: Don’t forget to join in on the kava!

We stayed here for a night. We got picked up from the Nadi airport. Check in was pretty easy. Room was pretty basic but comfortable and clean. There were a swimming pool, restaurant and a bar on-site. Close to a grocery store and an ATM. Staff were friendly and helpful. There's a travel and activities desk where you can arrange transfers to other islands and book activities. Overall, it was a good experience.
