A sad joke, don't waste your time and money. A large number of the 5 star reviews on here must be fake, there cannot be that many people living in Taiwan who think this unfinished product is worthy of 5 stars (most have non-traditional Chinese names which may be a clue). The sad joke starts with the unfinished entrance to the car park, we had to phone to check if we were even in the right place, when we were parked outside two groups of people entered the main door and quickly left, we should have heeded the sign. After entering the car park down the unfinished and extremely bumpy ramp we discovered there was a set fee of NT$100 to park but this would be waived on spending NT$2000 inside! NT$100 to park, in Nantou! Again we should have just turned around and left, unfortunately we persevered. Wandered through the "G" floor being continually pestered by vendors trying desperately to interest the very few visitors in what I would consider (VERY) overpriced products. The attempted rip off continued on the first floor where we learned it would cost over NT$400 for my wife, myself and two under 10's to walk up the "Tree of life" or whatever it's called! Are they joking? The rest of this floor is pretty much a construction site, wasn't much construction happening when we visited in the afternoon, most of the construction "workers" were sprawled on the floor in various areas asleep, no wonder it's taking so long to build. The factory levels were not accessible so we went to the top floor to see if something could be salvaged from the stop. No. More annoying vendors trying to convince you to buy something, could not be left in peace to even browse. Was very glad to leave but more than a bit Pi$$ed off at having to pay the NT$100 parking fee first before rattling up the ramp. If this is supposed to be a showcase for the companies products or Taiwan products in general it is the worst possible way of doing it, I'm so pi$$ed off at the place having gone out of my way to bring my family to visit (based on all the 5 star reviews and comments on here) that I will go out of my way to never purchase any products produced by this company. "Dream Factory"? Nightmare embarrassment would be more appropriate. Get your act together, stop charging people stupid parking fees and ridiculous sums to walk up your tree, tell the vendors to back off and leave people alone, and don't open until you're ready.

Not sure about this place other than you can bungee jump and rock climb one wall ... It is a bit costly and paying to walk the "tree of life" ramp was a rip-off. This place is Kind of like an ikea but more limiting in its range of household items and also food is a collection of random brands. I think it started from a plastic stool manufacturer. It was an interesting stop over from Alishan back to Taipei, but I wouldn't go out of my way Just to visit this place (not quite finished when we visited in April)

Hard to imagine this oasis existing in a cluster of factories. But when you emerge from the parking lot elevators, you enter into a totally different world. Excellent architectural detail with the giant Avatar-like tree-structure surrounded by expansive windows. The natural light is surprisingly abundant, with a view overlooking the Nantou horizon. There is a huge climbing wall with 3 levels of difficulty. There is also a 6 story tall bungee jump if you dare (minimum 30kg). Worth checking out this place for the day.

You could feel the passion and ambition of Shuter to bridge a factory and a shopping mall experience for its own and the other Taiwanese brand. While we enjoyed walking up the ‘tree trunk’, some young people were attempting exciting extreme sports!! We would come back and try the game later. We also suggest waiting a few months when the factory floors might be open for a visit too.

Good place for taking half day trip…if your heart is strong, you can take a 8 floor height climbing here, and also enjoy the challenge of jumping from said sky tree.

A place worth visiting if you are in Nantou, rich in Taiwanese culture, from museums to activities to shops/dining. Educational, artistic, and a fun place to spend your leisure time with your family!

It’s not worth to visit if you need to drive long way to get there. The admission ticket is overpriced. It takes about 1.5hr to go through all the attractions. The parking fee is $60/h or $100/visit.

A very beautifully build tourism factory that has a very interesting, well researched, and beautifully presented section on Taiwan and aboriginal history. Also has 2 sections of Taiwan specialty products. Very much worth a visit.

Not quite sure what to see at this place. It has many stores that you can probably find it at other places. The only special thing is a 8 story height “trail”.
