In my opinion one of the best NYC has to offer. I've never strayed from the marrow and oxtail marmalade and the skate but last night the rock shrimp special and fried chicken made it to my list of must orders. Very delicious, the wait staff were pros and the bread, oh the bread and butter (starting to salivate again). Bottom line, it's a must go for anyone.

One of my favorite sushi places. Not a lot of frills but great food. Service is fantastic and very knowledgeable on all things in the water to the saki. If you love sushi without all of the extra stuff like mayo go here. Atmosphere is smaller and a little tight without being too tight. Fun for a date, taking clients out of going with friends.

Blue Ribbon Brasserie is a restaurant you must go once in a lifetime. It is a very good place hang out with friends. The location is very central and easy to access. They provide the warm and cozy atmosphere. This time we ordered claw fish , fried chicken, fried oysters and ribeye steak. All the food is very very good. I really impressed the ribeye. The taste is amazing. The food price is also reasonable. The staffs are very helpful especially Alice. Next time I come to NYC I will visit this place again. ❤️🗽🍽️.

The most amazing pairing of bone marrow ever. The oxtail marmalade is such a perfect compliment. In my top couple bone marrow dishes have had next to Iron chef Morimoto's Maui location's plate. The bone marrow should have been enough, but had to try the fried chicken too and happy did. Just the mashed potatoes and gravy alone were worth it, sooo well seasoned and mildly intoxicating so great. The chicken itself too was stellar especially with the honey. The collar greens were good strong hint of smokey bacon but not normally much of a fan of so only thing didn't finish

We were gifted the gluten free fried chicken for four via Goldbelly and since we loved it so much, I had to put this review up on Google. What can I say but WOW! Being gluten intolerant has gotten more and more delicious as the years go on but this was one of those meals that I had to call to absolutely double check because it was that good. The directions, likely printed once for all boxes, happened to say “contains wheat” (which was our only constructive criticism) and along with the flavor, texture, experience all being so familiar, I literally freaked that they sent us the wrong box. Folks, they did not. It was just that good! Gifted to us by a family member after we survived 3 major surgeries on my torso in 35 days time, (I say we because my partner was there every step of the way. Between learning I have an anaphylactic response to Levaquin by having anaphylaxis and even argued his way in to sleeping on a camping pad by my bed after my first negative reaction to anesthesia post surgery two, he was every bit a part of this journey) this was the perfect gift and a most memorable set of meals we will remember for a lifetime. We can’t wait until I’m strong enough to go in person to get the full experience! Thank you, chefs! You truly have no idea how much this meant to us ♥️ (please excuse our paper bowls! This food deserves fine China but with only one of us holding up the household, we’re taking all the shortcuts we can brainstorm!)

Quickly becoming our new/old favorite spot in the rotation. Cozy vibe with very friendly and attentive service. Food is all A+ from the fried oysters, branzino, to of course their legendary fried chicken. Old school banana split is the perfect way to finish.

Make sure to get the bone marrow and oxtail appetizer. The fried chicken is good as an entree. Great service as well

Blue ribbon has been one of my absolute favourite sushi restaurants since 2013. I must admit, their quality had gone a bit lower or maybe the new and more “modern” sushi spots that has been booming is a challenge for them to overcome. Nontheless, the service is almost impeccable and the food has always been adequate. I hope they reach their full potential someday soon again.

Everything we had was delicious. I would say the bone marrow oxtail marmalade appetizer and the rack of lamb entree are essential. You need to be a total glutton to eat them sequentially, nonetheless consider ordering both. Cocktails are fantastic - make sure you get a drink that cuts through the richness of the meal, my old fashioned did the job. Skate with potatos, shrimp, bacon and capers was tasty. Passion fruit tart was delightful. Perfect dining experience. Pleasant interior, dim lighting, top-notch service. And despite being impeccable in every respect, somehow manages to feel casual. Fantastic representative of American food and New York City.

EVERYTHING we ate was 5+⭐.. Started with the Shrimp Special, Garlic Clams and Calamari apps..and will definitely do it ALL again! Then on to the Spicy Catfish, Skirt Steak, and Fried Chicken entrees... The Catfish was my favorite, but all of them were 🔥 ... Can't wait to return!

The atmosphere: dim lighting and clean👌🏾 The waitstaff and manager: attentive, professional & friendly👌🏾 The food quality & quantity: paella, steak and mash was superb! And the banana split dessert was very good and plentiful for 2. 👌🏾 It was worth every penny. We will return to try other dishes. Go experience it!

The place is a little on the crowded side, I visited on a Wednesday night. Food was fantastic, we had the beef marrow and oxtail, it lives up to the hype. The bread had a nice crunch and wasn’t your regular toast. I also had duck with sweet potato purée. Perfectly crispy skin and cooked beautifully. I would absolutely come here again.

Enjoyed the steak tartar & beef marrow oxtail marmalade. Both appetizers were delicious, so much so that it left a great impression to come back again. The bronzino was delicious as well, but would like to come back again for more options. Overall good experience with service and food.

We have not been to this place in a long time and had Christmas Eve reservations in their outdoor section. I was a bit worried but I feel we actually lucked out. The outdoor section was very well heated and a lot more private and less noisy than in the very busy restaurant. My wife is sensitive to heat radiators as they dry out her eyes and the host was super accommodating and turned off our above head heater for us. For appetizers we ordered the french onion soup, cheese fondu, and escargot. And of course they provided their amazing fresh bread which is still one of the best bread we've had. The outside crust is light and delicate and the inside is moist and soft. The onion soup was not too salty and perfect and the escargot were plump and large, don't normally see them this big in the US. The fondue was the only weak appetizer. For mains we ordered the paella and the duck breast, my friend also ordered the duck as well. Both were incredible. The only negative on the paella was the sausage was not to our taste but everything else was what we wanted in paella. Duck breast can be tough and chewy if not cooked right, but their's was perfect. Amd the paired sauce was just perfect. For desert we had the creme brulee and their chocolate bruno. Both were excellent. The waiter and host were so friendly and awesome. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy with our Christmas eve meal.

My colleague and I decided to try Blue Ribbon after walking by and noticing their beautiful plating and amazing atmosphere. We ordered their appetizer ribs along with fried chicken, mash potatoes, and greens. All I can say was Jesus. Sooooo good. The service was beyond amazing because, at times, being a man of color places like this may feel intimidating to me, but from staff to the customers, all I felt was love. I HIGHLY recommend this place. 10 out of 5 stars. Can't wait to go back

I’ve never experienced Foie Gras served with (what appears to be) wonder bread, but it’s a strange combination that works if 1) you’re hungry 2) convince yourself it’s actually a French-American fusion 3) accept that it’s just carbs that serve to accompany a delicious appetizer. Busy on a Sunday evening, 11:30pm, online reservations don’t appear to work that late. Seats at bar full service, and there were people still waiting to get a table at this hour. Branzino: quite delicious and though a lighter fish, overall a satisfying dish.

Late-night village brasserie that simply does not miss. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great wine selection and raw bar. But if you’re looking for something really special, try the beef marrow and oxtail marmalade. Your tastebuds will thank you.

I want to give more a 3.5.Maybe it's just not our thing? I feel like this is for people who like steakhouses or well cooked, elevated bar food? I'd read that bobby flay loves the fried chicken, Anne burielle loves their bone marrow, and a chef friend of Rachel Ray's votes this as his fave NYC restaurant. The seafood was fresh no doubt. The chicken perfectly, perfectly fried and steaming hot. Waitress was great. But the taste was just of salt, no other seasoning that we could discern. So for the fried chicken that was a bummer. The calamari, per what I read online at the infatuation, were cooked in garlic..but we didn't taste that. Our favorites were actually watermelon, mint feta salad (special) and the mashed potatoes and gravy. The drink was great too. Again, maybe just not for us.

Food & drinks: 10/10. Delicious, decent portions but not overfilling. We had the salmon and the sweet & spicy catfish. Would recommend both. Drinks were very good. Tasty and a good amount of alcohol. Service: A+++++. I dropped my knife and someone brought me a replacement in 30 seconds without even asking. They explained everything and several different members of the staff stopped by to take our plates, serve our drinks, etc. Victor was great. He really took care of us as did the entire staff. Open very late (2AM) and would 100% come back.

I’ve loved this place for so long, but last night was above and beyond.. The service here is just impeccable. They made our night! I was even being annoying and asked to switch tables, they accommodated us right away with a smile. Our waiter Jeremy was the best. He was on top of everything, picked out a delicious wine for us, and was so fun to be around. Bartender made me the best martini I’ve ever had to be honest, so good that I gobbled them down way too fast :) It was all topped off with the manager Aodhan, he always keeps us coming back. Thank you for being the best in the business 💕

One of the best restaurants in NYC with delicious food. It is usually very busy restaurant and hard to get reservation unless you make it in advance. The place is cozy and small but the food are outstanding with great service. It is a bit pricey depending on the menu but it’s worth every penny. Highly recommended !!

The beef marrow and oxtail marmalade was seriously one of best appetizers I have ever had. The staff was wonderful and very attentive!

Although the food was overpriced and of poor quality, the service was excellent. For dinner we had soft shell crab, raw oysters, fried chicken, bone marrow, and beef tartar. The fried chicken is the one standout dish; the others are merely passable.
