Hugo’s
as
always,
never
disappoints
and
has
exceptional
seafood
offerings
including
the
oysters
on
the
half
shell
and
the
escargot.
I’d
like
to
suggest
to
the
Naperville
Hugo’s
to
invest
in
new
barstools
at
the
bar
since
some
are
wobbly
and
in
need
of
replacement
or
repair.
Overall
the
atmosphere
is
lively,
the
service
is
approachable
yet
classy
and
personable,
and
the
menu
offerings
and
quality
will
keep
you
coming
back.
Katherine
and
I
came
back
for
another
visit
on
August
4,
2023
and
had
an
amazing
lunch.
Our
server
Thomas
was
meticulously
on
point
and
warm
and
friendly
and
offered
the
most
exceptional
service
at
all
the
right
times.
For
starters,
Katherine
and
I
each
had
a
glass
of
the
Ruffino
Chianti
along
with
the
always
famous
beet
salad
from
Hugos.
The
beet
salad
has
yellow
and
red
beets,
a
little
fennel,
some
candied,
hazelnuts,
and
some
spring
greens.
I
ended
up
having
the
prime
ribeye
steak
sandwich
that
is
absolutely
unbelievably
off
the
charts.
It
is
a
10
out
of
10
and
frankly
more
tender
than
most
prime,
ribeye
steaks
that
you
order!
It
has
gone
up
about
nine
dollars
over
the
years
since
I
first
started
ordering
it.
It
is
still
a
good
value
though.
Katherine
had
the
lake
perch
special
and
it
was
exceptional.
We
got
to
sit
in
the
very
special
elevated,
most
private
booth
which
made
our
enjoyable
lunch
that
much
more
special!
Overall,
this
Hugos
gets
4
3/4
stars!
The
food
is
always
a
near
five
star
and
the
atmosphere
is
definitely
4
star
and
once
again,
when
the
bar
area
gets
new
barstools
worthy
of
its
regular
loyal
patrons,
I
will
change
the
review
to
a
5
star.
I
hope
the
Gibson
group
looks
at
my
review
and
considers
the
very
few
and
minor
refinements
needed
to
make
the
experience
a
consistent
five
star.
