Giving it a 2 because I am a foodie and had I High expectations from all the reviews I read: typical food from la nonna. But food was mediocre, and not what Naples is known for. Couple of positive things though: - if you’re interested in a fun and different experience, cheap menu (2 courses with a side for €13) - if you’re not especially a foodie This place is worth a try. The service is great, efficient and super fast. Don’t be worried about the waiting line outside, when they take your name and say it will take 10 min, it does take 10 min.

How best to describe this restaurant. Who wants to spend a quiet evening here is definitely out of place. I have never visited such a hectic restaurant. It is noisy. The waiters sprint through the aisles. Shouting. Loud Italian music plays in the background. The menu is kept small and there is a 3 course menu which I'm sure many guests take advantage of. The food was delicious. Everyone in my group enjoyed it. Great experience! Grazie

One of the most authentic places you can visit while staying in Naples, Italy. People sing, shout and hug each other. Atmosphere leaves you speechless and food is impeccable. Think of food of your old nonna on Sunday afternoon. Packed with flavors and smelling amazing. I'd recommend to everyone who is in Naples to visit this place.

This place is a must when you're visiting Naples! The atmosphere they created is lovely (the singing and dancing contributes a lot). We went there 30 minutes before the official opening (7 pm) and there was a pretty decent queue. However, don't get disappointed or unmotivated - all of us were somehow seated, I still don't know how they managed to do it. If you are 2 people, be prepared to share super closely positioned tables with others; that's part of the fun. The menu is short but has plenty of options for both vegetarians and meat lovers. I would recommend trying the pasta with potatoes. Wine costs 5 euro for the whole bottle! A limoncello shot gives the final touch to the whole experience. A meal here will last less than an hour. If you are willing to occupy a table for long conversations, it's better to look for another place.

Such a fun place to get a bite to eat! The staff are funny and efficient. The menu is very easy to read and simple. The food comes out shortly after you order it and it’s piping hot when you get it. You also get a drink voucher when you pay for the drink stand across the way. Either an espresso, spritz, or lemonchello. There is a long line to get a table, especially when you have larger groups. But it is totally worth the wait. They play music and entertain everyone in the restaurant. This place is a must when visiting Naples. Extremely friendly staff.

Great restaurant with amazing atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and eating here you just feel like you're in the middle of a big family party. The food is extremely well priced you can get a first and second course and a side for €12 per person. I got spaghetti pomodoro with octopus, fresh mozzarella and an eggplant and tomato side. The food is fresh and delicious I hope to be back in Napoli so I can eat here again

This is one of the happening places in Naples, no doubt. The way they sing and dance every 30mins, and best part is how the customers participate along with the staff, they just get lost in that vibe. Now coming to the food, I got to taste some traditional Napoli cuisine like the pasta and potatoes with provola and bacon which was really good. Even the chicken schnitzel was impressive. But having said that, it wasn't worth waiting for 3hours in the queue outside in the chilly weather. I mean that was seriously something I didn't expect. I would love to visit the place again but minus the wait time.

Busy place with long lines. Write your name down and they'll call your name on microphone when they have table. They put on a quick show with music every other half hour-ish. Can be entertaining. Once you're seated, service is quick. Taking the order to receiving the food. It was not explained in the menu but "Complete Menu" is one of primi, secondi and side. Worth the price! Food is ok but wouldn't return. Good value, not worth the wait.

This place is amazing for so manny different reasons, they have plenty of space so the wait is short. the food is like home food and the portions are big. I particularly liked the fried fish. The service was so fast even when the restaurant was loaded. There was a singer, creating a cheerful atmosphere. We were 2 persons, had 2 two course menu with a bottle of water and coffee for 32 Euros in total. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Great atmosphere, singing, great food. But very long waiting queues. Food goes out of kitchen lightning fast due too short menu.

The menu is limited, but that's nice for a change. Everything on it is translated in English, makes ordering easier. We stood in line a couple of minutes, but then were seated quite fast for dinner. The food was ok, some dishes more tasty than others. I would recommend the past with clams.

A friend from Napoli recommended me the spot. I was a little bit skeptical first but I’m happy that I gave it a chance. It’s a busy and entertaining restaurant. We put our name down as soon as we got there and we got a table about 30 min later. The food is cheap and nothing fancy but authentic. The service is quick. The staff play old songs and dance with it every 15 minutes. So it’s an entertaining experience. You pay by the door as you leave. After we paid for our food we got a receipt/ticket that it turned out we can get free limoncello from their stand in front of the exit door!

When we arrived here at 6:20 on a Saturday night the line was all the way out into the road. There were two large crowds at the doors, and the place wasn’t scheduled to open for another 40 mins. At some point one of the staff came out to address the crowd - with his hand gestures and demeanor and the fact that he was situated on a step he looked like the pope addressing his subjects. Everyone was videoing him. Can’t speak to the food but I assume it’s good. Came back later to see what the fuss was about - they serve cheesy potato pasta and alcohol while playing folk songs. The waiters will get up on chairs every 15 mins or so and sing the songs out loudly. Every one in the place starts singing along and standing up and dancing - it’s a party. I don’t know the songs. I don’t speak Italian. I’m not from here. But if I did, this would be a delightful evening. Everyone looked like they were having an amazing time!

€13 for a 3-course meal, entertainment and a slice of Italian culture? Sign me up. Most enjoyable part of my Naples experience. My pictures do not match up to the quality of the food. Food tastes homemade and is very quick service. Do not be put off by the large crowd at lunch time, we only had to wait for 5 mins for a table of 6.

Great for a typical Neapolitan meal experience with local vibes and taste. I like the organization behind and how they serve each course. Sometimes there are singers coming in, signing between tables. The ambience is very chaotic, reflection of the city itself. We left very full.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a restaurant owner we met in Florence. So we made sure we visit this when we arrived in Napoli. First, the food was good. Nothing too spectacular. However, the price for a 1st meal and main course which also includes a bottle of sparkling water and appetizer bread, is only 15 euro. Like seriously? U cant compete on that! 2nd, I think what they focus on is the experience you can never get from other restaurants. They have an in-house entertainer that goes to tables to make sure everyone is happy! The service is also fast! You cannot reserve on thos restaurant and the line up is huge but it goes quick because the restaurant has 3 sections and huge. You'll get in 20 to 30mins. It's great experience! Thank u so much!

There's a good reason why locals were queuing outside the restaurant 1 hour before it opened. The food was delicious and served fast. The staff were passionate and fun. It was well worth the wait.

I have been told that this should be one of the best restaurants in town, but not only the food was barely cooked but also the service was terrible…after waiting for an hour to get inside, I had to ask for some bread many times to be served! They didn’t ask if we want something to drink! The staff were super rude and as they accommodated too many people inside, the waiters hit our chairs to move around! The bright side was the music which was playing and people were singing along!

Very fun active place. Waiters are constantly kidding around. Nice value to get a multi-course meal for 13€. You can only order one course at a time... but make sure you give them your choice of side dish when they ask for your second course -- otherwise they will assume you don't like your veggies :). Finally, at the end they give you a ticket for a small shot of coffee or liquor from the bar in the waiting area to cleanse your pallet. This was a fun experience.

Reading the reviews and seeing the long queue before they started serving got our hopes up, but the food here was by no means extraordinary. Many people complimented the atmosphere and we’d second that if you like it fun and a bit noisy. But if you’re looking to have a relaxing, chill dinner then this is not the place. The service may have been too quick at collecting our plates as well..

Little bit of a wait for a table, but worth it. Fast service, fun atmosphere and great food. The cheese, pasta & potato dish is something that you should try while in Naples.

This place is very busy and prepare to wait. Food is fair but great set menu prices and great service atmosphere. Lots of singing and interaction with the customers. Worth a visit if you are in the area but prepare to wait

Very unique and interesting experience. We signed up to a waiting list and waited aprox. 40-50 min to get in. The service is fast, all dishes are cooked ahead. You can drink wine (5€) or coca cola (3€) and eat a whole menu for 15€/person. The food was hot and good. You pay outside with cash or credit card and get free cupons for limoncello or coffee.

the food mediocre, the atmosphere great if you like it loud and noisy, they played music all the time and danced with the guests. Fried cod was good, but did not like the other dishes as much, the potato pasta was served cold! i did not like the meatballs at all, too fatty for my taste.

Came here from all the hype on the socials. Waited about 2h to get in, which was fine because we knew the wait time was long. The staff does not speak english. Food is extremely simple, you can get it anywhere, however the price is super affordable, 15€ for the complete menu. Drinks are not included and they are a must. Please keep in mind that there is an upper floor of the restaurant and if you are seated there you have to go downstairs to see the show/dancing. The dancing/music DOES NOT happen every 15 minutes, but rather every 45minutes. Unfortunately not as good as it was hyped. The price is good, but not worth the 2h wait.

Restaurant located in the Spanish Quarter. Amazing pizzas and excellent service. It gets busy in the evenings, so it is recommended to make reservations in advance.

  • 5/5 M C. 10 months ago on Google
Great food with a very Neapolitan atmosphere in one of the side streets of the Spanish Quarter. Wonderfully friendly staff, and a chance of passing street performers make this a good choice if you're in the area. I'm looking forward to eating here again.

The food is great and seems very genuine/home made. Service is very quick as the food is pretty much already prepared. We waited around 20-25 mins but it was worth it. The menu includes a water and a cafe or limoncello. The enviroment is really nice and welcoming with some music being played inside and staff even dancing with clients. 5/5, local vibes/food and amazing enviroment. For sure im coming back!

Touristic madness. When they open at 19:00 100 people pushed themselves in. Imagine the wait time when all would be made fresh. Food looks cheap. With the current pandemic situation not the best options.

  • 5/5 Miguel P. 2 years ago on Google
What a chaotic and tasty experience. Fixed price meals in the middle of the Spanish Quarter. Delicious affordable quality and quite the raucous venue. You should make an effort and find it.

The best pomodoro pasta I’ve ever eat. Amazing prices. The bottle of water for free. Great Italian atmosphere🤩 The bad thing is it goes really fast, you have to eat and pay quiqly after you are finish with your meal🥺

10 stars! This place is quintessential Napoli. Style is grandma’s home cooking. Amazing value, you get 2 courses and limoncello for 12 euros each. Loud waiters sing every time they get a tip and keep the atmosphere fun. We also got coupons for free espresso across the alley when we left.

  • 5/5 Katarzyna B. 2 years ago on Google
It's so tasty, prepare yourself for a lot of food for a small price. The food is just perfect and the simple tomato pasta, I can;t even describe. Great organisation skills of the waiters made a big impression on me!

Lively and energetic atmosphere, the staff know how to have a good time! We came here twice during our visit and it’s certainly our favorite experience in Naples. The menu slightly changes each day - the meatballs and potato pasta were delicious, simple home style food. Will definitely be back on our return to Italy!

a must come when in Napoli! Two dishes, bread and drink for 12€ The food is amazing and proper Italian. The risotto was so good!

  • 5/5 Megan G. 10 months ago on Google
A unique experience with great Italian comfort food! This entire restaurant reminds you of dining at your grandmothers house, except for the singing/dancing waiters. It is well worth the wait for the experience and prices. However, if you’re a bit shy like my party (particularly ladies), perhaps avoid the patio where the action goes down… You never know when you’ll be grabbed and thrown into the air, which caused some of us major anxiety as we were leaving.

€12 for two courses and a side. Great value, speedy service and amazing pasta e patatas. We'd choose something other than the pork chop if we went again though

I went for a week to Napels and went three times to this trattoria. It is so great! Not for the people that want a peaceful and calm evening but more for the people that are no nonsense and just want to eat. For 12 euro you get a conplete menu and its 3 euro for a bottle of wine. I highly recommend this place!

  • 3/5 Diana K. 2 years ago on Google
It's an interesting experience. Cheap as hell - 12€ per person for first, second and contorni. But don't expect great service or anything fancy. Food was good but not groundbreaking. Would have been better to try something else

  • 4/5 Gozden T. 1 year ago on Google
It is definitely a unique food and experience! Completely different palate. Recommend for once in your lifetime. 😄 We did not wait more 20 minutes but advise you to be there before opening. Service is quite fast as well.

  • 4/5 Emerson F. 1 year ago on Google
The pasta was amazing. Very well prepared and with a delicious sauce. Antipasti also very good. For the second plate I’ve ordered a pork fillet which unfortunately came too undercooked. I’ve order an N’Artigiana beer which is locally from Naples and was a very good strong beer. My wife asked for the house white wine and she said was the best she drank on Italy during our visit this time. There was a quick live music presentation by a street artist which was very fun! The place seems very popular and can be a little bit too crowded and it feels like they want you to leave quickly so the table can be assigned to someone else.

  • 5/5 Roy P. 2 years ago on Google
This place was super fun. Great atmosphere and friendly locals! There were 30 people waiting outside but we had a drink at the bar across the alley and were still seated within 20 minutes! Delicious and lots of food for only 23 euro. Get the potato pasta and the Fried Naples!

  • 5/5 Daniela S. 10 months ago on Google
It was really a nice experience. The price is higher now but 15€ it’s still a nice price for the food offered. I didn’t have to wait much time and it was a really fun and nice experience. I would have loved to spend a little bit more time at the restaurant but now it’s super famous and you kind of have to give your place for other people. It’s really fun but you have to keep in mind that you have to be a little bit quicker when eating. Also amazing that they offer you coffe or limoncello for free in the end :)

  • 4/5 roostahktchn M. 11 months ago on Google
Just left the restaurant and it was a fun experience for me as a tourist. First, the wait was 40' for Tue night so not bad right? Second, it is a fixed menu with 3 items per person to pick, 15 euros, including one big sparkling water bottle per table. The folded paper on the table is a menu. If you are English speaking then be aware of some misleading translations. I saw "roasted" eggplants on the menu but looks like grilled eggplant slices from a next table. So I thought my "roasted" Cod could be "grilled" Cod so I ordered it. It turned out to be a FRIED Battered fish... the coating was crispy and the fish was well seasoned with salt, moist and fresh, just no frills with spices or sauce if you expect. The sauteed rappini was tasty if you like it. By the way, they give you a complimentary limoncello or coffee from the stand outside the dining patio. Any way, I enjoyed the whole experience and walked away with chuckles about English translation and how loud from servers.

Very nice and cheap comforting food. Unfortunately a very long line so better off coming early before opening. 13 euros for a complete menu of a main dish, second main and a side dish. Also you might get a shot of limon cello or espresso at the end.
