My
stay
at
the
Renaissance
Naples
Hotel
was
wonderful.
The
hotel
staff
were
extremely
accommodating
on
several
occasions.
1.
The
doorman
and
front
desk
staff
were
extremely
helpful
with
our
bags,
provided
a
smooth
check
in
upon
our
arrival,
and
were
accommodating
with
a
late
afternoon
check
out
even
when
their
hotel
was
nearly
booked
full
the
next
day.
2.
Breakfast
on
the
terrace
is
lovely
and
they
had
a
wide
variety
of
food.
3.
We
had
booked
a
tour
at
Pompeii
the
same
day
we
arrived.
I
had
planned
to
just
try
to
catch
a
taxi
from
Naples
since
Pompeii
is
fairly
close
by.
There
were
no
available
taxis
out
front
at
the
time;
when
Paulo
(doorman/bell
hop)
saw
we
were
struggling,
he
tried
to
help
get
us
a
taxi.
I
had
gone
to
ask
the
front
desk
if
they
could
call
a
taxi
company
for
us
and
when
the
woman
at
the
front
desk
asked
where
we
were
going
and
I
told
her
Pompeii,
she
immediately
told
me
she
would
make
a
special
call
to
taxis
that
are
willing
to
drive
from
Naples
to
Pompeii,
wait
two
hours
(because
that’s
how
long
the
tour
is
-
it’s
a
fixed
time
slot)
and
then
drive
us
back
to
Naples
to
our
hotel
for
a
flat
rate
of
$100
EUR.
She
said
this
is
a
better
deal
than
booking
two
separate
taxis
and
it
is
also
very
hard
to
get
a
taxi
once
you
are
in
Pompeii.
Before
she
could
finish
the
call,
Paulo
had
found
a
taxi
outside
that
offered
this
exact
service.
It
was
perfect
and
very
convenient.
We
were
so
happy
we
didn’t
need
to
worry
about
getting
a
taxi
back
to
Naples.
4.
Our
plans
changed
the
day
we
were
supposed
to
check
out.
We
were
a
party
of
3,
and
were
only
staying
in
Naples
one
night
and
then
heading
to
Positano
the
next
day.
Due
to
severe
weather,
our
ferry
was
canceled
the
one
day
we
were
in
Naples
and
we
were
unable
to
rebook
for
several
days.
I
requested
if
we
could
stay
another
night
since
we
had
to
cancel
and
rebook
everything
and
they
immediately
allowed
us
to
book
a
second
night
starting
that
day
and
allowed
us
to
keep
our
same
room
even
when
it
was
an
upgraded
room
with
my
Marriott
status
from
the
original
booking.
There
was
zero
hesitation.
We
were
very
grateful
we
didn’t
have
to
worry
about
where
we
were
going
to
stay
that
night.
5.
If
you
stay
in
Italy
long
enough
or
look
into
the
restaurant
and
museum
hours,
you
know
that
most
places
are
closed
on
Sundays.
The
additional
night
we
added
to
our
stay
was
a
Sunday
and
very
few
restaurants
were
open
that
night
for
dinner
(probably
compounded
by
the
fact
that
it
was
pouring
rain
all
day
too).
I
had
made
a
reservation
at
a
restaurant
nearby
but
even
though
I
had
made
it
through
Open
Table,
I
wasn’t
sure
if
the
restaurant
actually
uses
that
service;
so
before
we
left,
we
asked
Paulo
(who
had
been
coming
in
and
out
of
the
rain
all
day
to
help
people
in
and
out
of
the
hotel)
if
he
thought
the
restaurant
might
honor
the
reservation.
To
ensure
we
got
a
table,
he
called
the
restaurant
for
us
and
let
them
know
we
tried
to
reserve
a
table
and
that
the
hotel
was
calling
on
our
behalf.
Not
sure
what
was
said
because
it
was
all
in
Italian
but
I
don’t
think
they
ever
received
my
reservation
so
it
was
great
that
Paulo
spoke
on
our
behalf.
Furthermore,
when
we
got
to
the
restaurant,
it
was
SO
busy,
they
had
to
turn
away
about
15-20
people
who
came
in
around
the
same
time
as
us.
They
gave
us
a
table
because
Paulo
had
called
for
us,
otherwise
we
would’ve
had
to
walk
around
in
the
rain
looking
for
a
restaurant
that
was
open,
which
again
was
very
few
considering
my
previous
search.
We
are
so
grateful
to
the
hotel
staff
and
I
will
definitely
stay
here
again
and
recommend
to
anyone.
