Check in was fast and friendly and the Superior Room was large, clean and modern (windows could be cleaned to make it even better). The hotel is better than average for sound proofing but you can still hear some noise from th corridors and rooms above bit certainly not as much as you can from the older city centre buildings. Breakfast options were average for vegans, and there was no clear labels for what was suitable for dietary allergies at the buffet which was something I'd have expected a large hotel chain such as Holiday Inn to have been doing. Caution! The lifts/elevators are chaos. Each runs on it's own system so people press all 4 buttons and you end up stopping at every floor (there are around 20 floors!) and waiting a long time for a lift/elevator during peak morning time so recommended to leave extra time for check out if you have a flight to catch.

Great hotel In Terrible area. Close to airport is the great too. The restaurant and breakfast was great, my upgraded room was nice and comfortable beds. There is a small office type plaza next door to shop or eat but only during business days other wise they are all closed Neighborhood is all business or highway and not walkable to anything.

The location is not that bad, although it's a ghost town. The hotel is in a business park where many of the tall buildings and store fronts are vacant. It gives off a dangerous vibe at night, but seemed to be mostly locals who come out to use the very large empty spaces to hang out. The one star is for two reasons. They tried to force us to pay for a third room because we had 5 people in our party. Took over a half hour to check in before they let us stay in the two rooms we booked with two double beds each. Despite a do not disturb sign, maintenance just walks right in the room. No knocking or any warning. My wife was frustrated because she was undressed. Front desk really didn't care.

Great service. The common areas of the hotel are modern and clean. The restaurant and bar is really nice. The rooms: below average. Shower didnā€™t drain properly, shower head didnā€™t work well, and the room was just very dated. Area around hotel: absolutely terribleā€¦There were piles of trash everywhere, working girls right down the street, horrific traffic right in front of hotel, and the whole neighborhood just a really dirty, unsafe vibeā€”-think cross between Tijuana and Pakistan. If you must stay here for business, youā€™ll probably surviveā€¦but under no circumstances should you bring a family. There are much much nicer parts of Naples.

Nice and cozy. Very clean. Anna from the reception such a helpful person. Also Giuseppe from the Bistrot a very attentive professional. Al in all good. PS. Even though a hotel restaurant, the pizza had an amazing fluffy dough.

Best hotel experience! Last night we found some problem with our room, called at mid of night, within few minutes people came and checked immediately gave us a new room, no rush to move our luggage we kept old one till next morning. Today we back to room from Pompei tour we got a surprise gift. We didn't expected and really appreciate how they care about their customers(us). We know why we always with IHG group. Amazing you guys. Especially this time with Holiday Inn Naples!!!

This hotel is situated in a commercial area and falls short of a four-star rating. It's not recommended for leisure travel but is more suitable for business trips. The rooms are spacious, but the dining options are not of high quality. Parking is available for an additional fee, and the hotel's entrance lacks aesthetic appeal, with an unattractive reception area.

Giuseppe at the bar is the man! This guy is hard working and provided excellent service for a quick bite to eat. Itā€™s people like him that made Italy such a wonderful visit for us. For the hotel, the check in process is slow. The poor reception folks are probably using computers from decades ago. Room is dated but served its purpose for a night before our flight.

Hotel itself was pretty good. Although the rooms need a bit of refurbishment, at least I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite, with plenty of room. However, the hotel is in the middle of a ā€œindustrial zoneā€; meaning that itā€™s basically unsafe to walk to or from the hotel, especially at night, in practice, you have to use taxis to get everywhere. The hotel also took full advantage of this by charging outrageous prices in their restaurant for food, although this is no different to hotels the world over. Next time, would not return and would look for a hotel more centrally. None of this is the fault of the hotel staff, who are generally polite, helpful and professional.

Coming to the end of a very long business trip which had me in this hotel for for around 7 weeks. Cannot fault the hotel for room, amenities, staff, features and cleanliness. Hotel food and drink was reasonably priced and offered a good selection. The only criticism is that the Bar Menu is very small in terms of choice so as you can imagine, staying this long has meant that I'd tried everything I liked several times. The restaurant and bar are fairly close to each other so I would have liked to have seen a little more choice for the bar menu. By comparison the restaurant was extensive. In the Bar - Giuseppe should especially be marked out for his friendliness, knowledge and attentiveness! A great representative and the Hotel and the Holiday Inn Brand! Once again, this is another hotel which has suspended room service and doesn't seem to in a hurry to re-instate it. Although I apologise to the hotel if this was never an offered service anyway? Rooms were modern, well appointed, clean and serviced each day to a very high standard. The only criticisms I have as follows; The desk chair drags on the laminate floor making an awful noise. I was woken a few times late at night or early in the morning by my neighbours next door or above moving this chair around the floor. How about considering putting some felt or other material on the chair legs to stop this? The other thing is that the room doors are so heavily sprung that if let go they slam....heavily. Again, it is annoying to say the least to get woken by neighbours either leaving for early flights or coming in late. I always wish Hotels would put some notices on doors asking users to be considerate to other guests and try and not let the door slam. However, you cannot legislate against ignorance and bad manners and I cannot blame the Hotel for this! Finally, in the bathroom, there is no soap dish so once you use the soap a few times, your soap is now starting to leave orange soap scum everywhere and it gets messy. For International Arrivals. Taxis from the Airport should be around Euros 25. None of the Taxis take credit cards so you will need cash. The ride should take around 15 mins depending on traffic. Outside; the hotel is located in a fairly large commercial and residential district. There are few shops and bars and an a couple of banks with ATMs. Some shops are closed (I assume Covid finished them off?) and the hours these shops and bars keep seems a bit hit and miss. You can walk downtown and the waterfront from the hotel but this will take 30-35 minutes. As I do with all my reviews since Covid came into our lives. I cannot award 5 stars to this Hotel on the basis of a non-existent or suspended room service. I find it very annoying that a lot of hotels adopted and continue to not offer this service on the basis that there is a Covid health risk. As a business user, room service is a very necessary requirement when working into the evening and it remains frustrating to have to break from work, go to the bar/restaurant and for that time not be able to have the privacy and means to be productive that a room served meal would avail you of.

We stayed one night before a very early flight. The room was modern and bed was very comfortable. We were tired from almost 2 weeks of traveling so spread out and ordered room service. The food was good and very large portions. There isn't much around but we didn't need that. The front desk was also very professional and helpful. They called a taxi for us at 4am and we easily made it to the airport on time. There was a snafu checking in as their system was down when we arrived, then after waiting in the lobby until it was back up, our room wasn't ready (we arrived after check in time). They gave us free drink tickets for while we waited and they bar area was quite lovely. I would stay here again for the same purpose/proximity to the airport.

Iā€™m giving two stars only because the receptionists were nice people and helpful. This is probably the oldest/dirtiest bathroom Iā€™ve ever seen in a hotel. The shower head didnā€™t work properly. The bed was alright but not too clean as expected in a hotel chain like this. Will never come back.

Western style hotel with a restaurant in the hotel. The neighborhood it is in is a pretty industrialized area and the road that the entrance is on is an extremely traffic heavy one. There is no airport shuttle but the front desk will call a taxi for you and negotiate a price (ā‚¬18 at the time of this review). Edit: All of the hotel staff we came in contact with were extremely professional, courteous and helpful. They took a genuine interest in my safety and well-being. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

So this is an honest review about the hotel. This hotel is great the personnel were phenomenal and professional. ILARIA helped me with everything I needed. Now the surrounding area is not a great look. itā€™s not the hotels fault itā€™s an old city. But me and my wife walked around and the guards keep it safe. Besides that the restaurant and the bar area are a treat. Honestly the hotel is phenomenal. The hotel canā€™t help the surrounding area . Thank you for having us and treating us like VIP

Last night in Italy, wanted a place easily accessible to the airport. Was about 10-15 minutes with traffic, but no hotel shuttle and about $30 euros each way for a cab. Service was fine at the desk, and great in the restaurant. The hotel itself is a bit rundown, peeling wallpaper, rusty bathroom fixtures, old smelly carpet and we found long hair in the bed. Otherwise seemed reasonably clean. Others in our party had a room that reeked of cigarettes despite being on the non-smoking floor. The front desk said no other rooms were available.

I had a lovely stay, I would recommend it especially for business travellers. The rooms are clean. Giuseppe offered great service at the bar/restaurant. Kindly improve on the gym facilities.

This a large hotel in terms of rooms. We had a suite, which was nice. The bedroom was actually quite small. After the bed there was only space for end tables. The gym is small. Staff was very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay on our 1st visit to Naples. All staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We had a very positive start by very cheerful and welcoming Rosa at reception. Efficient check - in and she provided us with all the relevant information. She was very professional and pleasant. We came across her several times during our stay and she was helpful everytime. We enjoyed drinks and food, this is because of Giuseppe. A special thanks to him for making sure my wife gets an egg free meal as she is allergic to egg. He ensured Chef is aware and went an extra mile to provide her with the meal which she could enjoy. The hotel is clean, modern and decent size rooms. Housekeeping is good and we were impressed with Marinara. The credit goes to the management for training the staff. Every employee was ready to help, Efficient, and cheerful. Although language was a barrier but the staff did their best to get the message across. We used Google translate šŸ˜€ The feedback - provide amenities depending on the number of occupants. better tea & coffee selection and daily replenishment. Breakfast was good but not to our liking due to a massive pastry, cakes and cold food selection. The hot food tasted very different. We will definitely stay in this hotel on our next visit and recommend anyone travelling to Naples. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

Decent, cozy hotel equipped with proper amenities- thereā€™s a mini gym with dumbbell and treadmill. Location wise itā€™s not the best- itā€™s kinda quiet and isolated from the city. On weekend this area feels like a ghost town. Giuseppe and Roberta from the bar were the superstar- their service were impeccable.

Customer service is severely lacking. Very well built property but is diluted by the poor customer service. Plenty of examples during my week long stay; from waiting 35 mins for valet to get my vehicle to my room smelling like someone peed the bed. Every attempt to allow the staff to handle the situation was disappointing. The rooms are Holiday Inn standard but the service is not. EDIT: To clarify, I did approach the staff regarding these issues to allow them to fix them but they did not.

First let me start by saying I am very pleased to write a review in regard to the hotel's service to visitors. Let me start with the my overall stay was absolutely awesome. The restaurant staff, menu selection and presentation where nothing short of a 4-5 star restaurant. The staff bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and go as far as learning your name, ensuring your specific needs and questions are always answered. The bar and staff are absolutely impeccable they could easily fit in at a high-end NYC establishment. The bartenders are very professional and welcome you in with smiles. The staff ensure that you are personally taken care of, satisfied with your selections and are more than gracious to expand your pallet with their vast knowledge of drinks and complimentary snacks. Lest not forget about house cleaning and the parking staff, overworked and under appreciated by the "GUESTS". I have never met a nicer bunch of people that really work their tails off. The garage staff continually trying to receive and retrieve vehicles for customers. They always meet you with a hello and how are you doing. It was over a hundred degrees while I was there, and they just kept smiling through it. Overall, this hotel was one of the best "personal" hotel experiences I have had travelling 35+ yrs. I have stayed at nicer establishments but not a warmer staff. Please understand the location 3stars is not because of the hotel but solely due to the location, let's be honest...it could be better. That being said, I ran every morning and walked around every night and never once felt threatened or worried so that is a plus.

The hotel was good, clean and safe. The location is awful. It's not close to the train station at all unless you are driving or have a scooter. You have to walk 30mins to get to the city centre, through dog poo and urine.

Despite the rather dilapidated area of the CBD, I cannot fault the hotel. The service was good, rooms were great, make sure you get the renovated ones though, great view from 16th floor once you overlooked the nearby abandoned buildings. I hope one day they can get investment to improve the business district. Close to both airport and train station and not too far from Port by taxi, 15 euros. Breakfast was OK, dinner was nice, minimal facilities but great as a base and getting in and out of Naples due to location was easy.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful scheduling transportation - even on short notice, for longer distances that required special arrangements. They eere pleasant and helpful, even though we requested assistance on very short notice. We were extremely appreciative of their services. Our room was great also - decor was current, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spacious.. i would definitely stay here again!

A very convenient hotel as it's close to the airport (10 min drive) also to all major public transport links (10 min walk to train station and less to bus stops.) I stayed here for 3 nights, my room was perfect - large with a fridge and air con which was ideal. I was travelling alone and felt very safe here. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Giuseppe and Alessandro who work in the bar, they really looked after me and made my time here special.

American traveler traveling in Italy for the first time. I'm in a single room and it's pretty small but it's more than adequate for what I need. The bar/restaurant area is great. Ive eaten there 5/6 nights that I've been here and has yet to disappoint. Giuseppe has taken care of me almost every night and I couldn't be more appreciative of him. If you're new to Italy like I am, he will lead you where need to be whether it's for the cuisine or travel suggestions. All in all, I'm very pleased with my time here at the Naples Holiday Inn.

  • 4/5 Yurima O. 1 year ago on Google
The two things I didn't like : It's not in city center and have American buffet for breakfast. It would be nice if they would have Italian breakfast since they are in Napoli, Italy. For the rest, it's all good. Not a bad hotel to stay in.

Our stay is very good but their connection to taxi is worst i have encounter. Taxi to airport charges 30 euro for an 8 min. ride. Refused to used the meter. It would be nice to contract with taxi company who does not take advantage on visitor. Not good for tourism business and hotels.

  • 5/5 Rock D. 1 year ago on Google
Primarily excellent because of multiple staff interaction, but Angelo at the Front Desk stood out. Calm, professional, helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet, from the espresso drinks to the fresh cornets to eggs, meats, and especially the multiple varieties of fresh fruit. First spot in ten Italian cities where the restaurant staff offered "Latte Fredo" to my 4 yr old before I had to ask:) Speaking of that, all staff super friendly to my son, which of course is more important to a parent than anything. Complimentary mini bar a nice touch...my only complaint might be: Italian huge strength is wine and prosecco...like many, I'd prefer that to the beer in the mini bar:) Overall: bravo, Holiday Inn, Napoli management for running a good spot and of course, Angelo.

Surroundings are not very nice, a bit of walk to train station. Hotel quite clean, beds are comfortable, room big enough. Problem with a hotel parking as was full. Nice restsurant and awesome food. Very good service. Special thanks to Giuseppe for a good care of us.

My hotel stay was great! I did NOT have the upgraded room but I did enjoy my stay! My room was cleaned daily and I was well taken care of! Giuseppe is a great bartender! He and other staff made the stay much more enjoyable ! My drinks were great, delivered in a timely manner and very good

Stayed in one of the "not yet refurbished" rooms and it was disgusting. Smelled of smoke, was in very bad condition. It was a one bedroom suite, I'd paid 240 euro for, and it was worth perhaps 80 at best. Breakfast was utterly vile, clearly using the cheapest products they could find. Service was pretty good, the gym was decent, but overall, I'd avoid this place unless you don't like breakfast and get a refurbished room.

  • 4/5 Otto P. 1 year ago on Google
Conveniently placed next to the airport, itā€™s only about 2 miles from it. Rooms are fully renovated. Plenty of space with all the necessary home items you will need. Does have a security safe for your personal items. The parking is not free $17 euros šŸ’¶ per day. Our room came with a free mini bar which was great. But the breakfast was not included, which we were under the impression it was, $15 euros per guest. Over all still happy with the staff and hotel.

The stay was excellent except one guy who works as a cashier named Angelo, we were on a business trip so we had to stay for 11 days with three rooms booking, at the day of checkout this guy made some extra bills on us and argued with us as he was right but somehow we talked with the agency which handled the whole accomodation and finally he was proved wrong. I felt so insulted as he let us go just saying "everything is fine you don't have to pay anything" he didn't even apologize for his conduct with us. I've not mentioned the whole story how he managed to give us a prove for the extras which we had to pay according to him. In general the stay was really excellent we liked the guys wearing suits who served us at the restaurant unfortunately i don't remember their names but they were amazing.

  • 3/5 Peter K. 1 year ago on Google
I paid for the better suite, it was quite small anyway. Perhaps it's just Naples prices? Without a cheaper restaurant just 15 meters from their front door I would be frightened to think of how much their food would cost..

The room was spacious and quiet, you couldn't hear noise from outside. the bed really comfortable. The staff in all areas very nice, like Giuseppe, very helpful and friendly. the breakfast was super abundant and delicious, with everything you can imagine. In evening we had dinner too and the quality of the food was remarcable. We walk on the surroundings, some places to shop clothes and cafƩs, and you can keep walking to the station. We had a good resting days

I think the restaurant served some very good food and the staff delivered a high level of service. If you are used to a club sandwich in the US, try this fantastically prepared sandwich. Overall the hotel was good.

Best Hotel Staff in Naples! Kind, considerate and very good people. I have stayed more than 200 nights in the past two years and have always found the hotel to be clean, safe , and a positive experience. Highly recommend this hotel!

Had a nice stay at this hotel, the room was brand new and all the facilities were great. My family and I especially enjoyed the restaurant, Bistrot Napoli. The food was amazing and the waitstaff (particularly Giuseppe and Aldo) went out of their way to be friendly and make us feel welcome. Would stay here again.
