Wow ok I have a lot to say about this restaurant. We came looking for good Italian food with a cute atmosphere. First off - our waiter essentially tricked us into buying a $9 bottle of water (we were not given a tap versus bottle option even though everyone around us received tap and we did not ask for a bottle). Secondly, the food came out scarily fast (~5 minutes) which was concerning, and the food came out room temp borderline cold… not hot as one will expect. The chicken parm was cooked fine, but the scallops were very fishy making them inedible and the pesto was watery. The staff were not very polite and seemed impatient, so we probably spent around 15 minutes here until we decided to just get the check and leave. Disappointing experience for sure. Overall weird vibes and bad food - definitely a skip and would not recommend.

Great food, service, and atmosphere! We went during happy hour so everything was 50% off, which made it pretty reasonable. Big kudos to our server, Marijana, who was courteous and attentive, and even switched out one of the dishes that we ordered wrongly (we ordered two chicken marsalas when we should have gotten one and a spaghetti and meatballs) for the correct one! I will say, however, service was sluggish towards the beginning; it probably took around 10 minutes before someone came to take our order, and we were seated right by the waiter area. But overall, it was a pleasurable experience dining here, definitely will be back if we are ever in the Naples area again!

Vergina is a nice Italian restaurant right in the middle of 5th Ave. It is a trendy place, always packed for dinner. I had a reservation and still had to wait 30 minutes for a table to become available. The restaurant has a very calm and pleasing design and a great bar. The wait staff was attentive and very quick. Last and most important the food was good. It came incredibly quickly, which sometimes worries me about the quality, but it was good nonetheless.

I had a wonderful birthday dinner with my GF. We a great meal with a lovely bottle of wine. Our server, Maya, was so sweet and pleasant. The live music was so good too! This is a very nice place for a classy romantic dinner with a great atmosphere. Thank you, Maya! 😊

Lovely restaurant. We sat outside and enjoyed it, even in the heat! They have fans with misters to help stay cool. The service was wonderful. We had a bottle of delicious moscato with our pasta. Amazing food. I look forward to going back!

Eh.. I remembered this place was good 15 years ago. Flew in this weekend and made reservations, Cioppino style special was decent. We ordered the steak with potatoes, wimpy skinny steak. Wagyu meatbalI was just ok nothing special. I Wouldn't go back, I'll probably try a different restaurant on the avenue if there's a next time.

The wagyu meatballs were amazing. The chefs cheese platter was delicious. But the four cheese and pear fiocchi was the best pasta I have ever had!!!! Service was also incredibly fast.

A great restaurant. The hostess was very nice our waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. I tried the white fish because he said it was delicious and indeed it was. I rate this restaurant 4 stars because the tables are just way too close together. luckily for me and my boyfriend we went there for an early afternoon dinner. Had it been on a crowded night and a booth wasn’t available I would not have stayed. One thing about Naples, there’s a bunch of restaurants to choose from.

We are here this evening during their 50% off Happy Hour special. We were really impressed. The atmosphere is upbeat. There was live music. It was clean, the service was great, and the food was high quality. The bread was homemade and warm and the olive oil for dipping was a man in-house concoction. We ordered a generous Caesar salad, garlic shrimp scampi for an appetizer, and three courses—lasagna, Fiocchi with pear, and linguini bolognese. First of all, the pastas were handmade in-house. The lasagna was made with slow roasted pork and roast. The Bolognese sauce was slow roasted to a dark red perfection as it should be. My family of picky Italians were impressed. We will definitely be back!

If you’re in Naples & would like to eat on 5th Ave I highly recommend making reservations two days in advance!! We were able to get a spot in Vergina’s last minute and I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It definitely was super packed but their decor was beautiful & the seating was very comfortable - they had live music as well. I would recommend dressing nice as it’s a *fancier* restaurant. For appetizers we ordered the calamari and baked eggplant parmigiana. Both were very good. We ordered the food pictured below as well. I had the orecchiette and found it very tasty. The crème brûlée definitely wasn’t my favorite but overall great experience!

Located in Naples’ 5th Avenue area, and surrounded by many other great restaurants, Vergina is an excellent option to have lunch or dinner if you love Italian food as I do. They offer many options in their menu: delicious starters, salads, pizza, pasta, fish, and so on… This was our second time at Vergina, first time was for dinner, and I can say that the ambiance at night was perfect, with live music. For lunch is a more quiet experience, but also a good one.

I went with my parents for the Sunday HAPPY Hour Lunch,we had reservations, but that was not really necessary. (Maybe a reservation is convenient in the evening) The Lady server was friendly, but in Stress, first she came to greet us with the Menue, took order for drinks. The drinks came almost at the same time as the Appetizers..which I do not like .. the lady server was more taking care of her outside tables, then inside. For the refill of water,or extra lemon, I always had to search for a waiter..nobody came to the table by themselves, ask if all is good,( they have a lot of people working)etc... for the main course, we were waiting 45 minutes!! People who came after us,received their meal bevor us,even a table of 8!! After asking,if they forgot us,yes they did,the kitchen made a mistake..we were asked for a drink, I wanted to see the menue for a new drink on the house,i had to get it myself... the drinks were then quick on the table, but on the tap,too and not on the house!!! I can't believe that service..I do not argue about a happy hour 7$ drink,so i paid it,but I can't believe the service. I read the comments, many were not so good,so I do have to say, most is true. The food was good,we enjoyed it,but the overall impression is to loud, the tables to close to each other ( to me,it seems just to make money) and don't care about the"ambience",that the guests feel good.. For Naples 5th Ave. every Restaurant wants to be the best, this place needs to learn a bit more about service.( I work in service myself ) We live here and are no tourists,so we have the opportunity of comparison. Maybe one Tip,instead of plastic flowers,a mini bouquet would be better, too.

A perfect late Sunday lunch for my family. Thanks so much to the cooks and staff for the great food and atmosphere. The happy hour prices (half off a lot of options) are great. Here are some photos of the plates we had, including the carbonara, fried calamari, lasagna, meatballs, tiramisu, and vanilla gelato

Happy Hour is the place to be. Live music and 1/2 off select menu. There is outdoor and indoor dining options. However outdoor dining normally has a wait. We opted for indoor with no wait and AC. There was plenty of staff and everyone was very busy. Even with all the staff it was hard to get people to assist when needed. Our server seemed more like an order taker while all other staff did the rest of the work. The food and drinks get a 2 thumbs up and would try again. Really enjoyed the atmosphere for happy hour.

Cool trendy bar area. Half off appetizers. My hubby ordered the shrimp scampi which was perfection and the meatballs that I found were slightly dry but we’re still good, I had the eggplant Parmesan which was phenomenal and the baked chicken wings that I only ate 1 because they were so blah. So their food ranges. The bar tenders are nice and attentive. The bar is huge and a very social place. The only issue I had is when walking into the restroom, it was horrific. The ceiling is broken out and things are hanging from in the holes. It’s a stark contrast to the aesthetics of the restaurant which is so richly put together. Made me question what the kitchen looks like! But all in all we enjoyed ourselves and will be back. Hopefully they get the ladies room together because it is awful as shown in pics.

It was our 45. Anniversary and we loved dining at Vergina. Everything was perfect, sat outside, had a wonderful dinner. Did I mention that it was Happy Hour. Such a perfect evening 😍

Excellent food, delicious drinks, service by Jessica was outstanding, and even though the place was pretty busy, the food came out quickly, the staff was attentive and we had a great experience. Can't wait to go back!

We had a great experience on 23 April 2023. Heike (a manager) was super helpful in enabling us to obtain a great table outdoors. The food and drinks were great; while the service was perfect as well. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely return.

This place is always 👌 the people, food, drinks, and service are top-notch from start to finish. If you want a fun and fantastic tasting shot, see Anthony from the bar. We had shots that tasted like chocolate, fruit punch, and fruit itself. None of them had any alcohol taste. It was incredible and yummy. Augusto, the manager, always has a smile. He is always joyful and goes above and beyond for all his guests and staff. The food is exceptional 😋 every time. The lobster, calamari, charcuterie tray, and Tomahawk steak done on the table side is a lovely personal touch. Everything we have ever had has been delicious everything. The desserts are just as enjoyable and add a flair of fun to them. I highly recommend the entire experience at Vergina.

Easy walking distance of you are staying on 5th Ave! Book a reservation ahead to avoid any waiting. The host table was very pleasant and friendly! Avoid sitting at the high tables by the wines - I was interrupted several times during dinner because the staff needed to get bottles out of the cabinets. Very inconvenient! The drinks were very good and the food was delicious! Had the calamari fritti for an appetizer - the dipping sauce didn't have much flavor, tasted like watered out tomato sauce. For the entrees, we had the chicken Parmesan, it was very good and also the lasagna, it had more cheese and sauce then meat. The atmosphere, whether inside or out seating, was very nice! They also have live entertainment.

First time in Naples two years ago, Vergina was the spot my fiancé and I chose on a whim to have lunch on our last day and ever since then it's become an absolute staple during all our trips to Naples. The atmosphere is beautiful, especially seated out on the veranda with the perfect view of Fifth Avenue, a sparkling green bottle of San Pellegrino, and fans with misters to help alleviate the soaring temperatures. You get very large portions of delicious food for a stellar price, and very often with some form of discount (happy hour is usually 50% off appetizers, and this last time was 20% off food items). The service has always been very accommodating and top notch. On our most recent trip, our waitress Svetlana was unbelievably sweet and attentive. One thing in particular we really appreciated was her idea to push two tables together since we had ordered too much food to comfortably eat at the table for two we were seated at. It was a very thoughtful and intuitive gesture that not a lot of restaurants have the care to execute. Looking forward to our next trip to Vergina!

Can't say I was blown away by the food... it was ok... nice place in terms of aesthetics. We came during happy hour, which is 50% off food but when our bill came this was not the case. We had to mention this to our waitress who sorted it out in the end but be mindful to check your bill before you pay.

We sat on the patio facing 5th Ave for dinner and it was delightful. Had the calamari and chicken parm, and the portions were huge and delicious. Our server Conner was very nice and efficient. Prices were reasonable as well. Highly recommend Vergina for a nice homestyle Italian dinner in a bustling setting on 5th Ave. Great for a group or date.

Now this place has quality food, service, and unlock the “dock” place in Naples I reviewed last night- they give you bread, lol. The calamari was so amazingly fresh, perfectly battered, lightly salted- with lemon properly served. The staff superb, everything delish, atmosphere classy, patrons sophisticated, and the perfect place to sit and enjoy an amazing meal.
