We stayed with Giovanni a while back, and had a great time. It is close to amenities, and had a shared kitchen so we could cook. Most importantly, Giovanni was amazing and helpful. When you arrive he gives you a print out map of all the places to go. He shows you all the secrets of Napoli and really helps you to have a genuine tourist experience, so much more than you would have with no guidance. I would love to come back and visit and stay at Giovanni's again.

Giovanni is a very sweet guy. Stayed here a few years ago on my stay at Naples. His place is located in the heart of Naples and he cooks pasta often for you. Definitely recommend!

Giovanni was the best host I could’ve asked for and more. He gave us detailed information about Naples and gave lots of recommendations for how to spend our time. He cooked for us, including the best homemade pizza ever. He also gave us a cooking lesson. He created such a fun environment that encouraged all the guests to get to know one another. I stayed there with a friend over her birthday and he made everyone an amazing tiramisu and a special vegan one for the birthday girl. Truly an amazing experience staying here that I will never forget. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Comfy beds , spacious lock up cupboards, clean bedding. airy and cool. Abundant breakfast .clean showers. Only downside was the food from the restaurant. Best to eat out or bring in from supermarket . Short walk from the train station . And the town Center. A good walk down to the beach , but well worth it . I would definitely go there again

It's an OK hostel. The bathrooms and rooms are clean but the room had bugs, my friend and I got bit multiple times both nights. The breakfast is free but just sweets, nothing of any nutritional value. The common area is small. The price was pretty good, overall an OK hostel.

For a hostel, this place is clean and nicely decorated! It’s the nicest building on the block and is close to the train station if needing to walk. We stayed in a private room which is small but it offered a balcony, a bathroom, and no shared bed which was what we wanted. For the price, we were very pleased. The rooftop is amazing, it wraps around the whole hostel and offers amazing views!!! I was pleasantly surprised to see the view in the morning. The complimentary breakfast is sugar filled, but was nice that it was there. The restaurant is ran by the same guy at the bar, the food isn’t what you’re looking for when you crave real Italian though. I recommend eating somewhere else. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The terrace for this place is amazing, highly recommended for sunset. The staff is mostly curtious and the food is okay, middling prices for food and beer. Showers were a bit dirty, some visible mold or water stains. They need to work on their booking system, I had to change rooms once and then the bed they choose to move me to was unavailable.

I cant' say enough great things about Giovanni. He takes the time to introduce all of his guests to Naples and provides us with a map describing the best walking path to see all of the local sites. He also generously provides homemade pizza for his guests and treats us all like family! While the building is certainly old (over 700 years old!!) and there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the apartment itself, this is hands-down the best hostel we stayed in while in Europe. If you're looking for a "party hostel" with open bars and social events, this might not be the place for you - but if you're looking to learn about Napoli from a passionate local who treat his guests like family, then absolutely book with Giovanni.

When I imagine what a friendly youth hostel is, Giovanni's is very close to what comes to mind. Giovanni is wonderful, knows and loves Napoli very well, he can guide you on where to go during your visit of Napoli. It's a cosy hostel, where you get to meet other travelers from all over the world, over meals cooked with love by Giovanni. I will say, though, that it's inconvenient in the ways in which it's not a hotel: not much privacy, and when you get to Giovanni's he will keep you a few hours to tell you about the dos and donts of Napoli tourism, so this isn't "just" a place to crash if that's what you're looking for :)

The hostel is located in St agnello, which is close to sorrento. Around 800m from the station, the hostel has a pretty big open space along with a large bar facility. The open space on the ground floor is ideal to seat & relax. The facility has both shared as well as private rooms and even place in the terrace to have drinks. The private room has a balcony with AC, the room size is small. Due to covid situation, the bar was limited. The supplementary breakfast was good. The hostel is easily accessible and ideal for someone who wants to enjoy beach, close to sorrento and ofcourse cheaper cost wise.

I wasn't impressed much. Season is over, and it felt like they're just having people there without their normal offerings. The rooftop was not maintained (no lounge beds and plants as in the pictures), the breakfast was boring (especially having the same dry stuff for 4 days), no Internet in the rooms, 5 people in a normal hotelroom sized room with only 1 shower and toilet. It's still the best option to use as a hub to see the Amalfi coast and the people working there were very friendly, but hey Seven Hostel, spice it up a little!

Brought a group of 42 students and the place was great. The breakfasts consists of croissants, sweet bread, cereals. They provided wonderful packed lunches for our students. Fruit a drink and a sandwich. Dinners always started with a pasta dish (very good) and a meat dish, fish,veal,or turkey. It was very very good. The best hostel I've ever stayed at. Pictures look NOTHING LIKE THE REAL THING. Whole place stunk of cigarette smoke. No atmosphere in bar. Expensive food and drink. Airconditioning was a nightmare, 15 people walking up every 5 minutes to either turn it on or off (because it's either freezing or boiling hot with no window for fresh air) makes for no sleep at all. You have to go downstairs to reset the aircon, staff not proactive to fix the issue. Rooftop deck had old food and ?vomit smeared everywhere, torn furniture, nowhere to hygienically sit/sunbake or have drinks. Definitely wouldn't stay again, don't be fooled by the old photos what show what it once was.
