Perfection is one word I would use to describe our experience at Truluck’s in Naples. We were immediately greeted by 3 hostesses who took interest in what brought us to dine with them. From there, we were seated and I was given a black cloth napkin to protect my dark dress from potential white linen lint (how impressive)! I’ll bullet point the rest of my review because I feel as though I could write a novel: * Service was amazing. They function like a well oiled machine; everyone helping each other out, efficient, attentive… everything a customer would want to experience * Food was amazing. All I will say is you must experience the presentation of the lobster bisque, tomato salad and carrot cake * Cocktails were on point * Towards the end of our meal, Rick, the General Manager, came over to make sure everything was what we expected. What an outstanding GM to have. He was personable, talked about the business, complimented the team and really made us feel like we were the only customers in the restaurant. The carrot cake was also his recommendation and wow, it tasted like heaven My husband and I had a kid free night while on vacation from Massachusetts and I am so thankful this is where we spent our evening. I cannot recommend Truluck’s enough… you won’t be disappointed!!

Visited Trulucks while conducting business in Naples. The place was packed but we had reservations. Had a couple of drinks and they were very good. Not too strong and not weak either. We had the meatballs as an appetizer. They tasted like little meatloaf meatballs. Super good 👍 My wife had the prime king crab and I had the lobster tail. We also had the crab fried rice. Everything tasted great and they sliced the crab legs down the side for easy access. Lastly we had the Baked Alaska and the carrot cake. Both were amazing and the carrot cake was the best I’ve ever had 👌 Very nice place with really good food. In my opinion it is overpriced though. $125 for a pound of king crab! I’ve had king crab of equal quality in lots of restaurants including Europe and California and I’ve never paid that much for king crab. I’m betting the market prices are lower in the summer (off season). If you decide to go there plan on paying top dollar 💵 💰 💵

We dined here for dinner on August 5, 2021 while visiting sunny Naples and dinner was extraordinary. Greeted warmly by masked staffers, the dining room is beautifully decorated and just sets the tone of what is impending while other dining parties were seated with ample social distancing. For a starting cocktail, I ordered the passion fruit marg and my husband and I shared the (3) meatball appetizer and the parmesan yeast rolls. For the second course, we had a Caesar salad with a white anchovy and for entrees, I ordered the New England scallops and he ordered the Florida grouper. Both seafood entrees were delicious as well as the sides of lobster mashed potatoes and steamed spinach. My husband and I, unfortunately did not pace ourselves and we ran out of room for dessert. The General Manager came over twice to speak to us during different points of the meal to ask us, “how we were doing and if the food met our expectations?” Everything here from start to finish was perfect and impeccable. We look forward to dining here again.

Pricy...the drinks, in particular. Yet the food and service are truly 5 star! Our waiter was amazingly attentive at just the right times. My salmon was fabulous. The Voilá was a delight as was the Baked Alaska. An outstanding dining experience. But $17.50 for a drink a d $22 for a glass of wine seemed a bit excessive.

The easiest five star review I’ve ever written! A dining experience you won’t forget, that’s worth the price. The food was spectacular - every bite was delicious. The service was unmatched - our server John provided excellent recommendations and kind, professional service. I can’t say enough how much fun we had doing a boujee dinner experience like this! We brought our baby and they were understanding and helpful. Wonderful staff and place.

Five stars as deserved. My husband and I were in town for a wedding and decided to make a date night out of the weekend with our reservation. The service from us entering the restaurant all the way to exiting was great. Our waiter noticed my husband taking photos of me outside of the restaurant and insisted on capturing a portrait of us. The food was even as great as the service. Reserve and enjoy! ✨

Came here for an anniversary dinner. Requested one of their few booths and was pleasantly surprised when were seated at one. We had a really great meal which was made even better by our waiter, Scott from Staten Island! A really personable dude. We had the calamari appetizer with stir fried veggies and this dish was excellent. It came with 2 sauces, one was their house mustard which was awesome and the 2nd was a cocktail sauce. We did have to purchase bread which I hate when restaurants make you do that, especially one with prices this high, you would think that bread would be complimentary but corporate greed is real yo. Not enough to take a star off but come on now. For entrees we ordered the filet mignon and the NY Strip. Both cooked perfectly. I will say, the strip was a little more fatty than I expected (esp for $65) but not enough to remove that all impressive 5th star! We were pleasantly surprised at a complimentary dessert for our anniversary and that was epic. Thanks again. Also, for cocktails do yourself a favor and order the Voila. Great tasting and even better looking.

Celebrate my friend’s birthday here and it was an amazing experience. Very nice and quiet environment, great service and delicious food. We ordered the sea bass and it was the best! They offer free dessert for birthday which is very sweet😍 Will be back!

Wonderful experience! The crab rice, oh my word. The plant-based meatballs, oh my word. It was my hubby’s bday and he is a foodie and he couldn’t have been happier. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures until after I started eating. Wonderful ambiance and the dessert they had for his birthday was a cute twist. Excellent all the way around. A true gem. You have to make a reservation. They even called me afterwards to ask how my experience went. Superb!

Great atmosphere! Most of the food was very good. 7 oz filet requested medium (slight pink in the middle) was rare in a few sections. Seafood was on point! Anthony was our excellent server!

If you’re ever in Naples save room for dinner. The seafood was exquisite and fresh. The oysters were by far the best I had in a long time and perfect amount of sweet, brine, & melon finish. The lobster Thermidor, king crab, and filet mignon cooked perfectly. Service by far stole the show. SAVE ROOM FOR BAKED ALASKA.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but pleasantly surprised in every respect. Food and service were exceptional, and the ambiance is subdued and “bistro elegant”. If you like fish try the grilled branzino. We’ll return!

After living in Naples for 6 years, I decided to try Truluck's for my husband's birthday. We had heard such wonderful things about this restaurant. However, we were extremely disappointed with the food. My husband's lobster tails were undercooked and had to be sent back while my dinner sat on the table getting cold. Frankly, it's just as well that they didn't take my dinner back to keep it warm, because the grouper that was described as "buttery" was overcooked and rubbery. It was served with broccoli which was undercooked and I couldn't cut it with my knife. A great restaurant will serve food that first looks beautiful to the eye. I've included a picture of my Florida grouper. I did take a bite before I photographed it. And I moved the broccoli over so I could show the size of the portion. All that was on the plate was a piece of grouper, broccoli and a lemon wedge. Not appetizing to look at. There were other issues as well but at this point, all I will say is that we don't plan on returning and will not be recommending this restaurant. Based on the other reviews of this restaurant, it seems they were having an off night. But should a top notch restaurant have an off night? I will say that the staff is very friendly and the ambiance is beautiful. And they make an awesome cocktail. Response to Brooke: Hi, tried calling you 3 times last week. I did leave my number so if you're interested in learning more about our experience, feel free to call me back. Never heard back from you. Don’t bother. Your initial response was identical to everyone who has criticized the restaurant. It obviously doesn’t mean anything. You’re not interested in hearing what unhappy patrons have to say. Thankfully, there are many outstanding restaurants in Naples to visit who DO care and are grateful for their patrons.

10/10 recommend for any occasion! Incredibly fresh seafood! Florida stone crabs are a must during season. Caviar is exceptional. The variety of the menu means there is something for everyone. Service is divine.

I must say I am not wowed often, but this place is truly spectacular. I somehow have not been here in all my years of living here until last night, and we went for an anniversary dinner. They immediately greeted us and wished us a happy anniversary- even though we had to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready (they were slammed) they completely made up for it in service and quality of food/drink. Our cocktails were great, Issa was an amazing server. We started with the rolls & ponzu- some of the best of both I’ve ever had. Then Caesar salad also amazing. Then I had the Seabass & my man got ribeye with crab on top. Both were out of this world. The baked Alaska and chocolate cake for dessert were also just ridiculously good. Issa even put them on ice for us to take home bc she heard we lived 20+ minutes away. The whole staff signed an anniversary card for us which is just above & beyond. This is our new go to place! We will be back as much as possible.

My husband and I had the most amazing Wedding Anniversary dinner this past Sunday in Trulucks. Everything was perfect, the staff was so sweet (our waiter was exceptional), the attention to detail ( I was wearing black, and the napkins are white but they changed them out for black to coordinate my dress, and there were red roses with petals on our table😊) and the food was phenomenal(we even got a special surprise for Dessert, it was delicious)! This restaurant will always have a special place in our hearts, it's where my husband and I had our first date ❤️ we can't wait to go back!

We always look forward to Truluck's each year when we visit family. Food service atmosphere has always been great. I wish they're happy hour food and drinks were pre pandemic similar. But I understand the change. They're happy hour was one of the better ones will always look forward to prior but now it's just okay. Still love the place though.

First off the service was amazing. That goes a long way. The dinner was even better!! I know it's a special occasion type of restaurant but we were on vacation and wanted a great meal. Possibly the best piece of fish I've had in naples!! Definitely the best service!!! The blackened grouper was fantastic!! Visit for a special occasion or just a special meal!! Will definitely return!!!

Everything was excellent! We are in FL for our anniversary and picked Trulucks without knowing too much about the restaurant and it was amazing. Service was top notch, all employees we interacted with were friendly and professional including the GM who came over to make sure our anniversary dinner was perfect. I can’t say enough about the food! I love a good steak and I couldn’t resist so I made my ribeye a surf and turf adding crab legs, great choice. My husband had the grouper. Even the sides were delicious. We are very happy! Spent some money but with every penny.

Had the king crab legs, excellent but pricey and the carrot cake is a must. Good service. Pretty busy. Good drinks. No complaints here for sure!!

Arrived for our dinner program we were greeted and taken to their Naples room. Scott introduced himself as one of the waiters for our group he immediately asked us for drinks and filled out glasses with water. We got to pick from a selected menu. Some of the items ordered were the filet, seabass, and salmon all pictured. Their sonoma greens salad was amazing i loved the pecans in it. The lobster bisque was okay our the guests that ordered it. The crab cakes were good along with the meatball appetizers. The ambiance in the restaurant is beautiful and inviting. Unfortunately our speaker felt like he had to complete with parties that were seated in the outdoor patio area as the doors were sliders and you could clearly hear their conversations. Other than that not being pleasant the experience was good.

If I could give it more stars if I would. Went there with some dear friends of ours, two couples. I got the whole fish the presentation was beautiful, lemony and spiced well. My buddy got the fillet he let me taste a little piece it was delicious. The ladies got the sea bass, my wife let me have a little taste and it was even better than mine. The lobster bisque was fantastic as well and the wedge salad full of blue cheese and fresh hot bacon pieces. The yeasty bread the potatoes and asparagus that we got share plates were just delicious and plentiful. Couple bottles of wine and then finish with the carrot cake which is a must. With some fresh pressed coffee. Even though the dinner was what most folks would think expensive it felt really affordable for what we received. Our server was great the restaurant was lively. We will be back.
