Amazing place! Went there to end our trip in Napels because we really craved sushi. It was one of the best sushi places we’ve ever been too. The service was amazing and extremely friendly. It was honestly the best service of our entire trip. The sushi was outstanding, different and the dessert was amazing as well! Since we had an all you can eat option is was extremely affordable as well. So worth a try!

On-point rating 8,7 I believe the owner partially made our dish and it was amazing. It did not only look perfect but tasted amazing. Definitely go here for an amazing sushi time Points to improve: - table with little artistic things should go down where there is lots of space it distracts the essence of the restaurant. Although i personally can appreciate the memtal part of the hobby. - service can be paid more attention too - some flower upstairs would lotus things up a bit

We had an incredible dining experience at Mame Ostrichina! We went there for lunch and were the only customers at the time, so we felt very attended to and the service was phenomenal. The entire staff was so friendly, helpful, and understanding, even with our very limited Italian language skills. The food was extremely fresh, beautifully-plated, and delicious. The tapioca soy sauce balls were a big hit as well! They even took some generous time to give us some city and travel tips which was very much appreciated. You can tell that a lot of love and heart has been put into this restaurant and food. I would recommend it to anyone!

Amazing!! This place should have a Micheline star because they definitely feel like it. The food was extremely fresh and the ingredients were top quality. The service was outstanding, i accidentally spilled wine on myself and the owner and her masterchef of a daughter helped me clean it and dry it with salt afterwards. Overall the best sushi experience I've ever had

Didn’t think I’d try sushi in Naples but I’m so glad I did! A great fusion of sushi and tastes from all over the world. Some of the best and most interesting sushi I’ve ever ever had

One of the best japanese restaurant in Italy. The quality & the taste of the food is amazing, all made fresh and served so lovely. The variety is very good, and you can find many options for many different preferences. The style & sway of serving is top and we will definitely come back as we had great experience.

This place is great. The owner is cool And if you ask she’ll give you her interpretations of Italian foods made in a Japanese way. Literally amazing. Each dish was incredible. I could have stayed and let her make dish after dish for me. We’re from NY. Sushi is everywhere. The Tuna is from the Mediterranean and it’s so fresh and amazing. I wish I had more photos I just ate too fast.

A very special experience awaits you here. Namely the host and the chef are the same person. This is the first time I've experienced this, and I loved it. It made our night very special getting advice from the chef herself. The sushi is wonderful and very artistic. The taste is fresh, in fact, it is freshly made as you get a look into the open kitchen. On top of this experience, just visit the art galary bellow, mesmerizing.

Good service. Authentic Japanese cuisine. Good quality. If you want something other than Italian cuisine, I'd recommend this place. 12 pieces of sushi, sake, water for €40.

This place is amazing! There are SO many delicious vegan options on the menu, I was blown away. Every single dish we ordered was better than the next + great wine and dessert! Cannot wait to go back for more. 10/10 would recommend!

Great to find Japanese food like this in the city. Perfect if you’re craving a break from the pasta lol. The only thing better than the food was the service. The staff really gave this place a welcoming vibe. I totally recommend this restaurant!

(Translated by Google) In this restaurant there is love in every detail. The sushi is of the highest quality and the service is excellent. On the one hand, classic sushi is offered to perfection and, at the same time, people like to experiment with regional cuisine. For example, I ate excellent sushi pop, which combines the Neapolitan cuisine with sushi in an excellent and sophisticated way. Completely recommendable! If you want to end a trip to Naples in a relaxed way and like sushi, you shouldn't miss this place. Terrific. PS: The water is optionally still or carbonated completely free of charge, which is also a little special attention in poor Naples. (Original) In diesem Restaurant steckt Liebe in jedem Detail. Grandios. PS: Das Wasser ist wahlweise still oder mit Kohlensäure restlos kostenlos, was auch eine kleine besondere Aufmerksamkeit im qarmen Neapel ist.

This is honestly the best sushi we have ever eaten. The worst part was, we found this restaurant on our last night and couldn't come back the next day, which we absolutely would have done if we weren't flying home so soon. We've eaten sushi all over the world, and went to this restaurant after a long day walking and doing touristy things. My partner and I started ordering sushi as we would normally. The owner, who was also our chef for the evening, spoke to us about things we liked and asked if she could suggest some items. We said yes gladly! We both shared the 20 mixed pieces of sushi to begin... And oh my gosh, the flavours were just stunning. I've never sat and discussed every little flavour I can taste from the food before but that's what we did. Every few pieces was different and it was such a treat. This is fine dining, but without any pretentiousness. Some of the flavours were Pesto, and fresh basil, giving the sushi an Italian twist. We enjoyed this so much we did another mixed platter of 20 pieces, and again these were different and had stunning flavours and textures. The menu offers lots if you are dairy free (which I am) but also vegan sushi options too if you don't want the fish options. We also tried an aubergine dish which was amazing, and my partner had a dessert which he loved too. The wine and atmosphere were perfect. The restaurant has some incredible features too, there's a glass floor as you walk in which you can sit beneath downstairs, and you have to visit downstairs where the toilets and more seating is where there is stunning artwork everywhere, and such incredible attention to detail. I honestly can't describe how stunning this food was. We've told so many people since that we went to Naples and found the best sushi we've ever had. We promised to come back and we'll make it happen one day!

Looking for a standard sushi place for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised by this find. Big pieces of fish in the rolls and a really tasty vegetarian roll as well. Ambiance is classy and feels sort of like an art gallery.

Here hospitality and friendliness is at home. We spent two evenings here, one for food - happy hour bento wich was delicious and one for drinks wich were also very good. With the drinks we received vegetable tempura on the house, with olives and the house chips seasoned with lime zest & some spice. Really nice interpretation of the snack. I recommend this place if you like a nice atmosfere and appreciate the subtle taste of japanese cuisine. Even the rice, a side dish was surprisingly flavorful.

Beside the fact that there were an enormous amount of vegan options, including desert, the food was at a very high standard and the staff were extremely nice. Everyone here has a smile on their face and are very happy to serve their delicious food. This is a family owned business, and you can tell that they’re very proud of themselves and of the high standard they’ve set, the place itself is very beautifully designed and everything looks to be thought through. I can’t recommend this place enough. This places works with a see through kitchen and it works very much in their favor, because the kitchen is very clean, very professional and very esthetically pleasing.

I went to Mame Ostrichina while on a trip to Naples. The atmosphere was effervescent. I suggest you explore the bottom floor (will be worth it!) the service and staff were very kind & welcoming. The food was at a high standard. Japanese cooking techniques were noticeable.

Such a lovely place! Not your everyday sushi and a very unique locale. Unique flavors that bring out nuanced palate pleasers. Trust the staff to bring you wonderful dishes that they’ve suggested. Truly enjoyed our experience here.

Fancied a sushi as a refreshing change from lovely pizza… Wow! This was delicious. So full of delicate flavour! Kept ordering another plate! There is so much choice and the restaurant is lovely and modern. Downstairs is a great fun place to eat in. So arty. Friendly and welcoming family run restaurant. Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. 😀

We walked by this restaurant and were instantly intrigued by the modern, tasteful interior design. We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the restaurant (she spoke English well) and were given 3 cards: menu, wine card, and surprisingly a beer card. We went for the Rock 'n Roll beer (only 12 euro's for 75 CL of artisanal beer), a personal favourite of the owner, and it was one of the best beers we've had. Foodwise, we ordered a plate of sushi (one of the dishes on the menu). It was wonderful; great taste, appealing presentation and a good price. We asked for a different plate of sushi once we finished the first, which was not on the menu (!), and the cooks improvised an amazingly tasteful second plate of sushi. Overall: lovely restaurant, great host and cooks, tasty food and great prices (total cost 58 eur: 1 aperol spritz, mineral water, 1 rock n roll bear, 2 dishes of sushi). Highly recommend it!!

(Translated by Google) A 1 minute walk from the Via Toledo you find a restaurant that at first glance seems very cold but the service is very friendly. It is a surprise restaurant. It has very good references on Google and TripAdvisor and that is why we have gone. For the Japanese, the presentation of the dishes is very important, because the cook is a master. I have eaten in many Japanese restaurants and this one wins the award for best presentation and the makis are delicious. In Japanese restaurants, desserts tend to be weak on desserts. In this restaurant that does not happen and you find a very elaborate and balanced dessert in taste. Thanks for the experience.

(Translated by Google) everything was exceptional, both the food and the service. The ingredients are of very good quality and the sushi is made only when you order (so we were able to make a modification in ours), and this for a very reasonable price. A place not to be missed if you enjoy Japanese cuisine.

Great food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Soft and quiet music. A very relaxing place to eat just a few steps from a busy street.

the sushi was tasteless and falling apart, it was clear it wasnt well made, the ramen had no taste, and the udon was just soy sauce, way too salty. we waited one hour and 30 minutes for the food, and it wasnt worth it. however i understand that they were understaffed because they only one chef, however i still do not recommend coming here for sushi, not worth the price, and not worth the waiting time

This was really extraordinary all the way. The hostess was lovely and helpful. The food was beautiful, elegant and delicious. I had the combo of sushi and sashimi. Im definitly coming back, i wanna try everything. This place, if it wasnt for the greatness of the food, would win just coming down to the details. The decor,, music that puts you in a mood and down to the small icebucket for your beer. Dont miss this place!

After several straight days of eating Italian food, my wife and I felt that we wanted some Asian flavor and a lighter dinner for the night, so we thought of sushi, found and dined at this wonderful place. I have spent 3 years living in Japan and sushi is one of my favorite food. As I do when going to a sushi place, I ordered the nigiri set—the most simple and a good way to evaluate the quality of a sushi restaurant. The set I ordered was delicious and surprisingly affordable! I even ordered an extra nigiri plate (Argentinian gambero) because I have tasted that the quality was very good. The owner and manager—the wonderful Monica Neri who spent several years in Japan and quite conversant in the language—was very kind, gracious, and attentive to our needs and questions. She even gave us some insider suggestions on where to eat pizza at her usual place, and some other places to eat like locals do! Lastly, the restaurant itself is very unique in style and decoration, even in fact artistic. When you enter, a strip of transparent glass shows you the undergound level of the restaurant—if you are height-averse if may be a bit terrifying, but just don’t look and step in! The basement is nicely decorated and in fact when we visited there was an exhibition by a local artist there. All in all, what a surprisingly pleasant visit to this delightful restaurant with the most friendly and warm host. If you want to eat good sushi, try the nigiri set and you’ll come back for more. どうもありがとうございます、モニカさん❗️

A must visit restaurant in Naples. Came across it while walking and liked the ambience and vibes so decided to check it out. From that moment onwards the food, the interiors and most importantly the warmth of hostesses melted our heart. Wish we can go back every week for the rest of our lives!

We arrived “early” in terms of typical Italian dinner (7:30pm) and we were the first in the restaurant. The owner herself seated us immediately and walked us through the menu. She was extremely friendly and clearly cared very much about our dining experience. The sushi was delicious and we had a lovely time. Highly recommend when you need a break from pizza and pasta!

We were staying in Napoli and after having so many pizzas and pastas (all delicious by the way), we decided to take a break and try this sushi place. The food was very good, it’s a fusion between Japanese and a number of different influences. The space was well decorated and has a soothing vibe to it. The vegan options were also excellent!

I was in Naples for 5 days and this was by far and away the best meal I had on the whole trip. The chef and owner made all the meals from scratch, and you could watch her make it through the window. The food and service was incredible. We were all blown away. Highly highly recommend this restaurant. If the food wasn't impressive enough, they even have an art gallery downstairs! Would definitely check out this spot.
