Visiting the doll hospital was great fun. It was really cool to learn about this long standing business and how many clients they still have nowadays! I would definitely recommend this experience. It is something totally different. Don’t expect to spend a long time here though, it takes max. 30 minutes, but it’s very much worth it. The ticket prices are also very reasonable at €3 per person. Definitely worth your time if you’re in the area!

If you ever had a doll there must be part of you that wants to visit. In a month spent in Napoli, this was the most fascinating and enjoyable and best visit I made. After visiting the museum, you get to meet the 4th generation hospital doctor who gives you a talk, and then you get to watch a wonderful and wacky short film where the dolls in the wall talk to you. If there is one thing you do in Naples go visit . I think it was only 3 euro. Don't miss it!!

Hidden delight with puppets, dolls and marionettes. Escaping the busy streets for a wonderland. English presentation was kind, price was 3 € and the owner personally welcomed us. Very happy discovery and would recommend for everyone.

A truly amazing place! Everyone, children and adults left delighted! The place is not artificially created, it is real and has its own history. We were welcomed by very nice people who took us around the facility and told his story in detail. Great service also in English. We recommend this place very much!

What to say!! This place is incredible, what an amazing experience. I highly recommend people, children and adults to stop here. Right in the heart of Naples, just before San Gregorio armeno, this little museum is a little gem. There you can take your old beloved dolls, soft toys, any other toy to get fixed by the “surgeon” Tiziana, a lovely lady that learned this art from her dad, she’s the 4th generation of doll’s doctors and she explains the lovely story behind the dolls hospital, there since 1895. For a little price for the ticket you can enjoy a 15-20 minutes visit on this very peculiar, full of magic place.

One of the most exciting and wonderful places I've come to. I only found it on my third visit to Naples. Despite my extensive preliminary explorations of interesting places and its central location, Doll Hospital has remained unnoticed by me for a long time. Although very small, I spent an excellent half hour inside. We watched a screening of a short, very interesting and accompanied by spectacular lighting and sound, film about the history of the place. And one of the charming girls working there told us briefly (available in Italian and English) the most interesting and important moments in the history of this magical place. In the end, we were allowed to look around and take pictures everywhere, even in the workshop itself. All for a modest amount of entry. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return there on my next visit to Naples!

Really lovely place, takes you back to your carefree childhood. Very creative little museum/workshop. Ticket is very cheap (2 or 3€). They offer tours in italian and english, that last for about 20 minutes.

Definitely worth a stop! The experience starts with a short entertaining video and then you have time to browse the doll hospital. Be sure to check out the doll xray machine. They repair dolls that are up to 150 years old.

My father has two tiny pandas that he bought almost 40 years ago - they are our family heirlooms, good luck charms and most prized possessions. Travelling to Naples on a weekend trip and rushing to Tiziana’s Ospedale delle Bambole to have them cleaned was such an incredible experience. The pandas were given every care, from a speedy ‘code red’ acceptance into the hospital, to tiny recover beds, even an X-ray machine and new bow ties! There was a true understanding of their value, an interest in their backstories, and an awareness that the restoration was adding to (and lengthening) their history. Whether you come to restore or just to visit, don’t miss this wonderful place!

It’s both museum and hospital of dolls. You’ll see 5 minutes movies, then go around. I saw a doctor was repairing a doll. Interesting.
