We went to Naples to specifically eat pizzas and dessert. The place was recommended by three of my Italian friends, and it stood up to the hype. We reached at 12.30 PM and got a table in a min. There was quite some waiting when we left. The staff is amazing and takes care of the customers. The pizzas are delicious. The pizzas do take a little time to come but they are worth the wait. The cheesecake was tasty as well. I'll definitely visit this place whenever I'm again in Naples.

Pizza at its best. Fast turnaround restaurant, yet verry attentive staff. Pizza is top class - dough is thin and soft, pinch of salt and less acid than most, yet the look of crispy crust is misleading in pleasantly surprising way. Toppings combinations brings tastes to a treat rarely seen in a pizza. Highly recommend. 50 Kaló don't take reservations, we waited around 15 minutes at the opening time.

Delicious pizza! The tomato sauce is absolutely delicious (tangy and sweet). The restaurant is also located in a very trendy area of Naples, close to the Bay. They even have potato croquettes that are to die for. My fellow New Yorkers of Italian descent, run, don’t walk, to this restaurant.

Definitely one of the best places to eat the best pizza of your hole life! Obviously the Margherita is the best one but with buffalo mozzarella on it. I furthermore more recommend to take a crocchetta and a frittata napoletana per person, it is super typical form Napoli and it’s absolutely a must try like pizza fritta which is pizza filled with the flavor you prefer, then flipped in 2 and fried.

It was raining so the outside seating wasn't available. The taxi driver tried to take us somewhere else. We had asked 5 people where was the best pizza was in Napoli. 3 out 5 told 50 Kalo. They weren't living. It was amazing over the top. Highly recommend. The croquettes de potato were so delicious. The pizza fritto again amazing.

Fantastic pizza. We ordered 5 for sharing, and I thought the one with potato will not be good, but it turned out to be my most favourite. But... That's like picking the most favourite kid. Literally all pizzas were fabulous. Please either make reservation in advance, or be prepared for 1+ hours wait. But I guarantee you it will be worthed.

Amazing pizza a little bit out of the hustle and bustle of Naples. It was one of the best pizzas we tried on our trip to Naples. Pizza fritta is huge but very delicious and full of ricotta. Dough is the star of the show I must say. Very light and delicious.

LOVED the pizzas here. We got lucky and arrived at 11.50am, and within 15 minutes there was a 45 minute waiting line! The Marghertia was definitely delicious, but the Diavola with stracciatella was incredible. It’s been a few days since I visited, and I still salivate thinking about it. It’s a no-brained that this place is MUST VISIT in Napoli.

Absolutely top-tier pizzeria in Naples! Local foodie's favourite and now mine too. Margherita con Buffalo blew my taste buds away. Simple, yet unbeatable. Queues are a testament to their excellence. Gigi's (Luigi) service was classy and spot-on. Outdoor seating vibe = Naples cool. Fried starters? Tried all 4 and they are all a must-try delight. Every pizza rocked, but Margherita Con Bufala stole the show. €72 for 5, including 2 soft drinks, is a steal. Flawless teamwork inside. Efficient fame handling from the lady taking guest names at the front. No rush despite crowds. Coming back next Naples trip! One of the best meals of our holiday. ❤️On a side note, we are grateful for all those joining and following us on our journey. Together, we've reached an inspiring milestone of 2.8 million cumulative views this month through our reviews and photos.❤️

Incredible pizza in Napoli!!!🇮🇹🍷 Both pizzas (the one with broccoli 🥦 and potato and the classic margarita 🍕) were insane... like honestly insane! We also had a bottle of the house red which was a lovely wine, quite heavy but delicious! Our waitress was so kind and helped us to navigate the menu, offering her favourites and making sure we were happy customers😊 Overall a 5/5 experience and a must when in Naples... thank you so much!❤️

Prob one of the best pizza that I ate here in Naples. The queue pretty quick and staff welcoming. The menu is large and there is a big selection. The pizza was delicious. I strongly recommend it

Wonderful way to end our Naples/Italy in general visit! Delicious pizza, wine & fritti! We came on a Saturday about 15 min after they opened and it was packed! A little discouraging but we only waited 15-20 min for a party of 2. The pizza was great, we got a margherita and a salsicce e patate (sausage & potato). Easy to cut, quality ingredients & it was fast. I was very happy with the salsicce e patate as I had really wanted to try it at another pizzeria but they were sold out. It did not disappoint. We also tried a suppli Rosso & white wine. We were feeling great, satisfied & in the best of spirits during/after our meal. Food can really change your perspective on a whole vacation experience.

Very delicious! If you don’t want to wait, try to arrive early as they do not take reservations. The best pizza that I had in Naples by far!

The best pizza dough I’ve ever had. It’s almost a contradiction: fluffy yet supple, it’s airy yet has a good chew. The fried appetizers are decent.

Definitely the best pizza in Naples. A restaurant whose reputation brings daily customers from all corners of the world. Whether we are talking about starters, main courses, or dessert, the appearance, but especially the taste, is very refined.

Truly divine! Friendly team and fast pizzas to go. The Margherita here is top-notch. The flavour of the tomatoes, mozzarella and dough is a dream. What else, the slices hold up well and there's nothing sloppy about this pie. This experience is worth the journey.

Very nice pizzeria in Napoli. Very simple, quick and very good food with a really good price. The pizzas had a very tasty and thin doe. It was cooked perfectly and the ingredients were top. We tried some wine and beer from the house and they were really good too, but in my opinion the price of the drinks was a little high. The place itself it’s simple, the waiters were friendly, fast and helpful and we got a very good night there. It has a terrace outside and some parking close by.

Just wanted to share my experience at 50 Kalò in Napoli. I had heard so many great things about this place, so I was really excited to try it out. But let me tell you, it didn't quite live up to the hype. First off, the wait was insane! I stood in line for almost 1.5 hours just to get my hands on their pizza. And when it finally arrived, I was pretty disappointed. The tomato sauce had this bitter taste to it, and the pizza itself was on the colder side. Not exactly what I was expecting. I've had much better pizza in Napoli, to be honest.

Definitely one of the best pizzeria in Napoli. We took 4 different kind of pizza and all of them was perfect. Mine was a bit more special hehehehehe pizza “pasta e patate” definitely a must.

Definitely lived up to its name and expectations. The pizza was among the best I've ever eaten. Light, crispy, but also chewy crust, fresh ingredients. Well deserving of being in top 100 pizzerias of the world.

First pizza stop in Napoli and it didn't disappoint. Don't come in expecting American pizza, and you'll be in great shape. The crust and topping combinations are pretty different than what we are used to but it was absolutely delicious. The service was great- very quick, very pleasant. We have already recommended this spot to another American couple looking for GOOD Napoli pizza.

Delicious pizza. Light, thin base topped with fresh mozzarella and other ingredients. Nice selection of beers too. Arrive before 8 to avoid queuing (but worth the wait even if you do!)

  • 3/5 Felix E. 2 years ago on Google
Very good dough and leoparding. Toppings miss creativity and substance. Overall good experience but not on par with outstanding pizzas you can find around Naples.

  • 3/5 Lisa B. 2 years ago on Google
Well, it’s okay, but I found nicer places. Pizza is Fine, but the atmosphere inside is not cozy at all - it’s more like a central Station and the waiters rush you to leave soon after your meal.

Delicious traditional Italian pizza! Also plenty of locals go here. Go there in time to avoid a long queu and for once forget about the Italian habit of a late dinner. We arrived at 7.05 and immediately got a table, but 10 minutes later there was a huge line!

  • 5/5 Marius M. 7 months ago on Google
We had dinner here, on 5th September, and Marco was simply the best. He helped us with recommendations about the menu and also taught us new italian words. :) The restaurant is nice and clean, the food very tasty, and as you can see in the menu, they pay attention to the ingredients. Usually, there are long queues outside, but we went earlier, like 10 minutes before opening in the afternoon. Highly recommend! Paid 8 euro for Margherita, 5 euro for their beer, and 6 for a delicious tiramisu.

The food here was amazing, the location and the environment was wonderful, and the staff were fast and responsive. The price is a little higher than places like Da Michelle while the pizza is very similar caliber. The wait times were very quick though. We only waited 20 mins for a table at Kalo, but waited 20 minutes for a takeaway pizza at Da Michelle. It's also nice having variety in the toppings at Kalo.

This is the best pizza I have ever had in my life. We tried the Margarita pizza, Montanara Rossa (fried pizza) and the potato/sausage pizza. Everything was amazing. If you can come before 7:00 pm it is easy to get a table but after that there. Is a big big line.

  • 5/5 Ash W. 2 years ago on Google
So so happy that we didn't have to wait too long for a table - service was quick (even though they were hovering around like they didn't have much to do) but was pretty happy overall. Food came quick and the pizza fritta was quite big but was able to take away the rest in a doggy bag box. Both pizzas weren't too wet or steamy inside especially with the fried one so definitely enjoyed my time here!

Best pizza i have ever had. I have eaten here 4-5 times, and every time it was equally good! Nothing negative to report about the food or the atmosphere. The only annoying thing is the queue, which can be as much as 1 hour waiting. But is it worth it? Yes.

One of three best pizza that I’ve tried! I’m not sure if it is the best but the quality, freshness and taste was something unique. It is not in central Naples, but you can easily drive, get a taxi, underground or train to reach this restaurant. Absolutely you MUST try it, if you plan to visit Naples in the future.

  • 5/5 Rose C. 8 months ago on Google
Excellent pizzas with original recipes. The service is very efficient and dynamic. However, take into account that they only offer pizzas on the menu (no coffees, salads, etc…) and the place is crowded and a bit noisy. But this doesn’t change the fact that it was a great experience !

  • 5/5 Taylor B. 9 months ago on Google
Nice location on the corner of the busy street, definitely recommend getting there before 7-8pm on a weekday when the queues get pretty long. Potato pizza is highly recommended, overall just a good experience with great food.

A true treasure of Italy. Considered by my local friends to be one of the top 2 pizzerias in the nation. It's also near a epic plaza where you can find a drink and hang out.

The best of the best - if you are in Naples and love pizza, you should not miss out on 50 Kalò. The pizza is the best I have ever eaten, having tried countless pizzerie around Italy and also Naples. The dough is cooked perfectly, the tomatoes were sweet, the mozzarella perfectly melted. Finally, they also had beer from Bavaria, arguably the best in the world which makes for a perfect symphony of the best pizza in the world with the best beer in the world. I would recommend to come early if you plan to eat in the evening, as the restaurant is always really full (especially in summer).

You're in Napoli and you like Pizza. How lucky are you? You have thousands of quality choices and 50 Kalò at Piazza Sannazzaro is right up there as one of the better quality choices of Neapolitan pizza. We had croquettes di patate as starters then Pizza Margherita and Pizza Rossa Ripieno along with their own 50 Kalò craft beers and you couldn't ask for a better lunch. The dough light and fluffy. The toppings fresh and flavoursome. The cooking perfect at the right temperature in their wood fired oven. Although it was a busy lunch period the service was speedy and professional with knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended

  • 5/5 Katerina C. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely delicious and worth the wait in the line. Pairs well with their craft beer. Service is quick and on point. Staff is friendly. Recommend to add it to your itinerary if you come to Napoli.

  • 5/5 Wesley Y. 10 months ago on Google
Service was great. We took our time to drink and eat and they never rushed us. We had a few pizzas and they did not disappoint. I was surprised that it was basically one person per pizza but perhaps given the price (€7-9 at the time of writing), I shouldn't have been surprised. The margherita with buffalo mozzarella was good. So was the Tris Funghi. We also had a fried pizza was similar to a calzone. The basic one has tomato sauce on top. There was another one that had more filling but no tomato sauce topping. We also had their house beer. It was a lager in a 750mML bottle.

This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. This is Michelin level pizza with a down to earth and extremely affordable atmosphere. My wife and I ate 3 pizzas appetizers and water (barely:) and had a bill of around 30 euros…and we couldn’t finish the food! This is a MUST but the line is very very long. I would arrive before opening hours

  • 5/5 Cherie H. 10 months ago on Google
Best pizza I've ever ate! Our group of 11 arrived shortly before opening because we saw how busy it gets. We were seated right away and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Appetizers were wonderful too. Service was fantastic. I'd love to be a regular but sadly live on the other side of the world. ☹️ Happy to enjoy it for a night though. 😀

Great pizza, amazing tomatoes. We ordered 3 different pizzas and all were great. No compare to pizza from Rome. Sweetness of the tomatoes makes it the best pizza I've ever eaten in my life.
