I got the southwest omelet. It was super busy for just opening. The crew was doing an excellent job. The chili on my omelet was accidentally forgotten. Didn't matter, the meal was still beyond delicious. The waitress noticed I didn't have chili on my omelet and reminded the cook that it comes with chili. The cook, to my surprise, bought me a replacement omelet to go so I would I get what i paid for. I also had ordered a beer with my meal (night shift worker). The beer I ordered, the keg went empty on her. She immediately sprung into to action to replace it. I told her don't worry about I can order a different beer. She was very prompt and polite. The food, the drinks, and the service. It was an awesome experience. Simply amazing, and I very much look forward to having a 2nd meal at this location. This was my first time going to Spengler's since I moved to Napoleon well over a year ago. I have been wanting to try this place out. And my only regret is I didn't stop by sooner.

Nice homey atmosphere. The bison burger was delicious. The servers were hard working and you can watch the kitchen cooks work in their small area making everything to order. We will be back.

Always a busy place, but the waitresses are great, right on top of the drinks, and amazingly when you have a large group, the food all comes out together. Amazing home town place. Thank you Spengler's!!

Since 1879 Classic American Bar with Booths, Tables, & Bar. Food is Burgers Salads Hotdogs and similar. It was Good and arrived Super Fast. Service was Friendly. Prices are Normal ($8-12 most items). Pies look Amazing but I was too Full. Location is Dwntwn Napoleon. I’d go Back. 4 Stars because Food was Simple. Beastie Boys for Ambiance is 6 ⭐️.

Delicious food! Second time we have been there and we definitely plan on coming back! The server was very nice and attentive! I definitely recommend the American Chesseburger, you can't go wrong! The environment is awesome. Just to be in a place that is so old and has the original things.

Spang's as they are know to locals, is a wonderful place for a meal. It has been around forever and the food is quite good. They wait staff is excellent. It is right downtown and also has outside dining. So if you are in Napoleon and looking for a historic place to grab a meal, Spangler's is the place!

Stopped in for breakfast on our way to Cedar Point. Very quaint and unique pub. Excellent breakfast. It’s hard to find places that cook the perfect eggs but this was that place for me. Had early bird special and cannot complain about anything! Bloody Mary also didn’t disappoint.

My 5 year old is the pickiest eater every single time we’ve gone she has devoured every plate from spaghetti to corndogs to tacos to chicken noodle soup food is amazing always a hit with the whole family

The food was good and fresh but the atmosphere wasn't for me. Packed in very closely to other tables and rock music was so loud it was like being in a club and everyone was having to speak really loudly to converse even with others at our own table we couldn't hear each other. I don't mind music but I like to be able to talk to people at my table. Service was good and servers were nice. Just too loud in there for an enjoyable meal.

Very cool place with a lot of character and a great vibe. Service was great. The people there have a great attitude, which makes the place all the more charming, right in the heart of the downtown historic district. Oh yeah, and the food was good, too!

We had Fish and Chips it was great tasting Cod and a generous portion. 5 stars again great job to all the employees for exceptional service.

Always love the atmosphere and food. The staff was very attentive but not too attentive if you know what I mean. Whenever I am back in town visiting, this is one of the places that I have to eat at.

Service was very slow. Ordered cornbread with chili and I was done with my chili before I got my cornbread. They seem very uncoordinated there. They didn't have my daft beer . I give them 5 thumbs down.👎👎👎👎👎

The food was good, basic diner fare, and our waitress was great. Only reason for the 2 star rating is they had added fees on the bill that weren't posted anywhere we noticed before the meal. In addition to the cost of our meal we were charged a "Beverage" fee and a "convenience" fee for using a credit card. Two of us dined in, we both had waters and one had a coffee (which we were charged for), so I'm not sure what the beverage fee was based on. I understand the convenience fee because of the fees charged by CC companies, I just don't like being charged without knowing beforehand. All total it ended up being only about an extra $4, so the money isn't the issue for me. If you're going to charge additional fees that's fine, but post them clearly at the table, on the menu, or even on the door just so people are aware of them.

Love the local hole in the wall feel. Every waitress was pleasant and offered great service! Prices were perfect and the food was delicious. We love coming here during our trips to napoleon

The entire staff is super nice and the food is really good. The wait time is minimal, even when they’re busy and someone always greets you when you walk in.

I went for dinner and a couple of beers and just sat at the bar. Food was fresh and beer was cold, exactly what I wanted. Service was great too! No improvements needed!

Great local place. Always busy with locals eating sandwiches, wings etc. Bar feel with great friendly service and a decent menu. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was outstanding piled high with pork. Ham and bean soup was good too. Recommended.

Friendly Staff and lot's of yummy food choices for everyone. The antique ceiling and decor reminds me that this is still one of the most popular restaurants in the area for over 100 yrs! I highly recommend checking it out for yourself.

Pretty good. Excellent prices. Great waffle fries, they also have crinkle cut and basically potatoe chips, but nice to have a variety. Decent on tap beer selection, food was good enough, basic bar food. Great waitress named Cory and great kitchen staff. Would recommend anytime.
