In our search for the best Italian coffee the vegetarian and I came across Bar San Paolo. On entering the proprietor promptly went behind the bar and took our order. I had a cafe Venezia at €1.20 & it was a Cappuccino Nutella for the vegetarian (€1.50). These are half the price of the establishments on the main streets and id venture twice as nice. I'd not had a cafe Venezia before but ( when in ......Napoli) I gave it a go. From what I saw it was sugar, cocoa powder, amaretto and an espresso all mixed together. Delicious. The vegetarian sat quietly enjoying her coffee so I always take that as a good sign. It's not the most scenic part of Naples, life is just going on. But seek it out, trust me on this.
