This is only a review of their takayuki - they were pretty good. There wasn't a line when we arrived. We just ordered 4 and I think that was a nice option because they are pretty filling. There is a table on the side where you can add brown sauce, mayo and the flakes. The outside has a nice chewiness but I felt like the inside was a little too gooey. The flavor was really nice though. There is also some seating to the side. It's in a fun location and if you're around you should check them out.

Highly recommend the miso soup — 100 yen, flavourful, and even has meat chunks inside. Pay at counter before sitting. Staff were patient and seafood bowls were worth the money.

Plenty of food to order here, just take a look at the menu! Decided to try the sashimi rice set with salmon, uni, shrimp, scallop and tuna. Ordered additional miso soup too. Soup was nice but I find it a lil too salty. Shrimp and scallop were nice, tuna was ok, salmon was disappointing. 1st time tried uni - tasted weird. This lunch was quite cheap which is why the seafood is not very fresh.

Lovely ambiance in this small and cozy restaurant, really enjoyed the food! Some of the best eel I’ve had, the Chirashi dons are also to die for. Super reasonable price, can’t beat it :)

A really nice place to take away your takoyakis or enjoy them along with a nice kaisendon You can see the takoyakis being done by the minute in front of you so when you get them they are really pipping hot! Careful with your mouth! The seasoning is up to your taste as you can add as much dried bonito, takoyaki sauce, mayonnaise and aonori as you like! It starts at ¥200 for 4 pieces. And how about enjoying them along with a nice bowl of warm rice with all kind of fish toppings on it? You will definitely find something you like among all the choice there is: what you are presented is as good as the pictures in front of the shop so it's easy to order. Oolong tea is available on many tables and here too for as much as you like. Also if you don't feel like eating a whole bowl after the takoyakis you can always have half the normal size, also perfect to order many bowls at once. The bowls are almost all under ¥1000 so you definitely can get your fill for not much! Definitely a place to go to often.

Surprisingly good food! Plenty of choice of sashimi bowls. Tried the raw tuna and it was great. Quantity was enough for a launch break. Take out is offered. Prices range from 500-800¥. Outside seatings available by the main street. The indoor tables are quite small but it is what it is :)

A market street style dining option. There are many types of shushi bowl to choose from at very affordable pricing. The seafood are defrost before they serve you. The takoball is also cheap and resasonable good. Recommend for a market street dinning experience.

In Ueno Market, the raw fish bowl restaurant offers a very reasonable price per plate, especially considering the generous portion size. The setup is communal seating, and you might have to share a table with unfamiliar faces, creating a somewhat unique experience. The restaurant provides free green tea, and customers can help themselves to small paper cups conveniently placed on the tables. The quality of the raw fish is average—not exceptional, but not disappointing either. However, it's unclear why the salmon appears somewhat pale; it lacks the vibrant orange color seen in other places. Perhaps it's a different variety. Despite this, the place attracts a large crowd, with customers even standing and enjoying their meals in front of the restaurant. As for the taste, the Takoyaki didn't leave a particularly strong impression; however, for those passing by, it's worth a try due to its affordable price. One significant aspect to address is the cleanliness, as both the interior and the front of the restaurant seem quite untidy. Improving cleanliness would greatly enhance the overall experience for customers.

It is a kaisen don or some people called it donburi. The best thing about this place is, they offer variety of rice bowl with lot of seafood options. I ordered salmon + salmon roe and another one which is roasted fatty salmon. They were absolutely DELICIOUS. They were fresh and CHEAP as well!!!! Highly recommended.

The Takoyaki have been very delicious. You could choose between the size of 4 piece up to 8. The prices are very reasonable and even the price for beer is very good. There are not much space to stay but this is not a problem. I only can recommend this 😊.

Was looking for a takoyaki place near akihabara and found this place which was 14 min walk away. The takoyakis were made freshly on the spot and they were so tasty for its price! It was 200 yen for 4 balls, 300 for 6 balls etc so about 50 yen per ball, and you can add your own mayonnaise, bonito flakes and aonori seaweed. Each ball was crispy outside, slightly gooey inside and definitely worth a try if you’re around the area.
