The
staff
were
incredibly
kind
and
made
our
stay.
Upon
arrival,
we
weren't
aware
that
we
had
booked
a
1-person
occupancy
instead
of
2-person,
but
since
we
were
staying
for
over
a
week,
the
male
staffer
waived
the
additional
fee.
The
female
receptionist
who
was
translating
for
him
did
her
absolute
best
to
address
our
concerns,
even
asking
her
manager
about
the
cancellation
fee
if
we
were
to
check
out
earlier.
Each
day,
the
receptionists
stood
to
greet
us
when
we
were
leaving
the
building.
The
facilities
were
amazing!
There's
a
women's
sento
(public
bath),
two
massage
chairs,
a
swing
chair,
two
kotatsu
(or
short
tables
in
summer),
a
communal
kitchen
with
all
utensils,
a
smoking
room,
and
two
vending
machines
with
beer.
We
made
good
use
of
the
massage
chairs
everyday.
We
saw
lots
of
young
couples
and
a
few
families.
Our
room
was
very
spacious
and
I
could
lay
out
my
large
29"
luggage.
Cleaning
was
offered
more
often
than
the
required
3-day
intervals.
The
bathroom
reserved
for
women
on
our
floor
could
be
locked
and
was
kept
clean.
They
also
offered
us
new
pyjamas,
towels,
and
toothbrushes
every
other
day.
The
only
downside
might
be
the
location
(nishikawaguchi
is
about
30
minutes
from
city
centre)
and
there's
not
a
lot
to
see
in
the
area.
The
walls
were
also
thin,
but
we
still
slept
well.
