Fantastic mix. Soup is powerful, but leaves very little after taste. Seems like it will overwhelm but it’s drinkable and tasty. Everything at high level. Thick Chasu that melts in your mouth. And cheap! Amazing ramen.

The clerk is very kind and lovely. They play really chill and relaxing music as well. I got the chasu ramen with extra egg topping and it was good. There was a good amount of meat and the broth is rich. It was a little warm though. I didn't have to wait too long even arriving 20 minutes before opening.

Arrived about 13:45 and waited about an hour to be seated. The line moves pretty fast but there were a lot of people already waiting. No machine, ordered from a menu and paid on the way out. Menu has English. I ordered the ramen with an egg plus the gyoza. Gyoza were great. The ramen is a delicious niboshi (fish) broth. Great noodles too

The food is good, and the tsukemen soup is unique. The noodles are a bit cold, which I don’t prefer, and the gyoza wrappers are thin. The gyoza was quite tasty though, and honestly went well with the soup broth. In all, a solid ramen joint, although I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Warm Soba Noodles with Vegetable Tempura was wonderful. Google translate was required, staff were friendly. There was no Ramen available - unsure if it was sold out or it’s Soba only and everyone is mentioning Ramen?

All employees are polite and kind. The menu is easy to understand and the queue isn't long. (Cash only, No credit)

I visited Koukaibou Ramen today to sample the recommended ramen fare. I was very pleased with the visit both from a food aspect and from their pleasant hospitality. The ramen master carefully prepares each order and his wife serves, clears and settles the check at the end of the meal. The wife speaks English and presents and explains menus while you are waiting to be seated. All very polite service and well done. The ramen soup was perfectly balanced of a meat based broth and just enough of dried anchovy ( I’m guessing) which gives it a pleasant smoky flavor. The hand cut chashu is cooked just right and tender. I recomend adding the optional egg which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Located an easy walk from the Metro.
