Excellent location close to town. Grounds were well cared for and staff friendly and helpful. However the concrete slab on site 9 showed its age and was cracked in several places and the site was difficult to level. Temporary amenities were very disappointing and little seems to be happening in terms of renovation. Unable to recommend this park while the temporary amenities are in place.

Stayed there a week a go Quick check in friendly people close to everything the only thing I can say is the showers and toilets are in the same unisex room and when it comes the afternoon everyone having a shower there is no toilet to use as they do not have toilets on there own and when you get one the floors are wet and slippery and that's the only let down in the park I stay there two years ago and it was the same then ☹️☹️☹️

Avoid, avoid, avoid! We booked into this caravan park months in advance for a family reunion. There was around 22 of us all up, adults and kids. From the time we checked in we were met with hostility towards our group, and warned about the 10pm noise rule before these people even knew us or what our plans were. We were unable to check in just half an hour early despite the fact cleaners were no where to be seen near the cabins and were made to wait until 2pm just to give the owners some sort of authoritarian power trip. Our first night we did break the 10pm noise rule due to loud talking, no partying or music we were just talking in the camp kitchen until late. The next morning we were met with further hostility, saying “this does not happen in my camp. You will be removed if it happens again.” I think it was a bit dramatic for just talking but okay no worries. We went out that night, and were gone until 12:30pm. We made sure to stay super quiet walking into the camp and went to bed. Our last night we were “scolded” again for walking into the camp so late the night before despite we made zero noise? This same night a car was stolen from another camp patron. Perhaps if the owners put as much effort into securing their park from actual criminals instead of scolding family groups they wouldn’t have so many thefts, as it appears this is a regular occurrence. On our last night we were again talking at one camp site and were met by the male owner at 9:57pm telling us to go to bed, quite rudely. There was no polite request, it was rude and disrespectful to a group of people who had just sunk thousands into their camp for the weekend. It’s also posted on their website and in their printed rules the curfew is 10:30pm so this was completely wrong anyway. He then proceeded to stand and watch as we all went to bed like some creep. Do not recommend. Avoid this park at all costs.

This was my second visit to this lovely accommodation park by the river. So clean and quiet along with very approachable and helpful hosts. We had to leave quite early and in our rush, left a bag on the bed. Fortunately, the owners rang us almost immediately to let us know. We were able to turn around and go and collect it without losing too much time. We were so grateful that a potentially very inconvenient situation was avoided due to the host’s swift actions. Thank you and we can’t wait to visit again.

I can't complain. Everything was great. I've given it 4 stars because I've got nothing to compare it too never having stayed in a caravan park before. The cabin was good and had most things we needed. There was a camp kitchen for our group gathering. It is walking distances to shops and restaurants and about 25 minutes drive from the telescope.

Friendly serbice. Layout okay snd amenities very clean. Close to town, RSL and a pub. On the down side, was quite noisy due to trucks on adjacent road.

Great location, easy to get to just off the when heading to Parkes from the Newell hwy. Not too much noise, can hear the train, but it's not that close. The sties themselves are drive through. The care takers are lovely at check in. Dog friendly, reasonably large, semi grassed sites. Camp kitchen is HUGE! It includes: pots, pans, plates, cutlery, toaster, fridge and more. Large screen Tv if you're so inclined. Only issue, is the amenities, the usual amemities are I assume being upgraded, but there was no sign. Rather there's portable toilets, which were nothing to write home about. Really, if that's all the issue is, it's a great spot. Little walk to town, but doable.

I’m not 100% sure I’d stay here again… the staff are great. Our site was quite spacious (you need to ask for a large one if you require it) Due to recent floods, the amenities block was closed for renovations and we were provided with three bathroom/toilets for all guests. Wasn’t enough. My husband and I found ourselves waiting till very late at night to shower. One wasn’t cleaned the whole time we were there. This park definitely has potential to be much nicer.

Top notch Park. We stayed at the park on a powered site whilst working in the area. The park managers are extremely friendly and accommodating. The amenities are pristine, as are the grounds of the park. Lots of improvements happening around the park, including the new ensuite sites which will be a winner for this park. Fantastic location, walking distance to either the local club, one of the many hotels in town, which has amazing meals and into town itself. When coming back to Narrabri, we would definitely be booking to stay at the Narrabri Big Sky again. Thank you Tanya & Pete for being such gracious hosts.

We’ve stayed at many caravan parks on our trip and this is the only one we’ve come across with a guest herb garden and a soap dispenser and tap at the dump point! Very close to town. The amenities block was being upgraded while we were there so there were temporary facilities. The staff are lovely and very obliging!

$30 for unpowered site. Night before in Hay, $10 per night and had pool and better showers. Rip off!

Very disappointing, expensive with not much to offer, facilities very basic we had better and cleaner in free sites., Christmas not cleaned that day. The camp kitchen was okay but again Only 2 burners. No Christmas atmosphere, nothing we were sorry we booked for 2 nights.

We stayed on a powered site which were a bit cramped but overall, we enjoyed our stay. It is in a great location for the town pool and town centre. Facilities are not baby/kid friendly. No nappy change or basin to wash babies in. We were trying to leave by the checkout time of 10am but with 2 kids under 2, this ended up being challenging. We were strapping the final items onto our camper to leave at 11am when a staff member ever so helpfully reminded us that we should have been gone by 10am. A disappointing end to our stay, to have staff be rude while we battle packing up with 2 cranky kids. I hope staff were able to prepare our grass powered sit for the next people to check in by 2pm 🙄

Very clean park and amenities at $37.50 (members price) per night for powered site. Found site small for a 22ft van and 4x4 just squeezed in with a little over hange. Staff were very friendly at check in, check in for caravans 12pm other acc 2pm. Only thing I could say is for the price I think it's a little high as there is no pool or play ground for kids. Local pool is right next door at $10pp

Loved this park. We decided to go unpowered with our off road van and had a great spot amongst the gum trees and near the river. The facilities are temporary (waiting on council to sort the permanent ones) but they are better than a lot of other van parks we’ve been in. The managers are new and already making a positive impact. The cabins look clean and tidy, the grounds are well kept and the camp kitchen is excellent

Check-in felt weird. It was one of those times where they were laughing with the customer before me and then when it was my turn to be served I get a stoney stare. Haha how do people do that? I'm always still smiling when I serve the next customer after having a laugh. Not even my warmest smile got a crack out of them. The Camp kitchen looked great, but I never used it. The amenities are in portables which wasn't great when you had to use it after someone had had a stinky one before you. There ain't any airflow when the fan ain't running, and the fan ain't running if the lights ain't on. Apart from the smell looked clean enough. Can't comment on the water pressure as I never showered. I used the unpowered section at the back which was nice, overlooked the path that went along the river. Can't actually see the water as the bank is quite high. Would be great if you could access the river walking track through the gate that is padlocked instead of walking all the way around. I would still use this park if travelling through again.

Stayed in Cabins. Dirty, grubby, stains on bed spread and pillow cases with a rip in sheets. No blankets on beds and when I went to get one they were rolled up and thrown in with a coat hanger stuck in one. Want to make coffee and coffee cups had dry coffee drips and another one food stuck on inside. Everything was dusty. Bathroom horrible, scum built up on lower tiles in shower and shower screen. This was all in the second cabin we were given for our family. The first one the bathroom had not been cleaned head hair, pubic hair/beard hair with someone's soap still in holder. The freezer had dirt marks in it. We have stayed before and LOVED it, very clean and perfect for our young family, this time terrible. We won't be back. I wish I took photos as I'm confused how other people are reviewing as a clean place to stay.

We stayed on a cabin, which are really well kitted out, with a 2 burner stove top, pots and pans, and a microwave, also a good sized fridge. Cabins are really clean and comfy. Definitely stay there again.

Nice little park in the centre of town on the banks of the creek. Nice, shady drive through sites, lots of grass, clean facilities, nice camp kitchen and friendly owners. It even has a shared herb garden! Great spot for a short or long stay.

Fantastic! Our family stayed 3 nights in cabin 11, it had everything we needed for our short visit to Narrabri, it just needs the lounge replacing. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. Would stay again.
