Awesome museum, one of the most important and historical museums of coins which is situated on the way to Trimbakeshwar, by road it is well connected to Nashik and only 19 Km from Nashik, The museum was founded under the Indian Institute of Research in Numismatic Studies in 1980. This campus spread over an area of 505 acres, which is 3 km from Anjenery hills, The museum is the only one of its kind in Asia with a very rich collection of research and well-documented history of the Indian currency system. if you are planning to visit Trimbakeshwar Temple, Must visit with children to these museum they are getting to much historical information. Ticket is Rs.70 for adults, Camera charges is Rs.50. if some one is handicap or aged one or those are not able to walk they have wheel chair for them.

Not at all correct address. Could not find any museum on this location. Instead, this place is surrounded by chicken and mutton shops. Someone please share exact address of Panchavati Museum.

Everything is artificial but efforts to idolic representation are not so good.

Full marks to the hard work done here in the making of such nice museum. But still I can't recommend this place to visit, because there is no source of entertainment here neither any food other. And there is hardly anyone who comes here. So please don't plan to come here from long distance. Visit this only if it's on your way of journey.

I never knew this coin museum was near Trimbakeshwar. I was fortunate to see this museum when I returned. When I visited this place, I was surprised.Here are the things I was learnt in the 4th std book. Please come before 5pm. After 5pm It's closed. You can not purchase some memorable things from here.

I have one pice coin of 1954 and Lotus coin 20 paise of 1969 if you want to buy this tell me

It's not only about coins and money but there are many things like movie making machine, clay pots, stones, wild life prints, ancient weapons and many more.

The place is worth a visit. Earlier it was only a coin museum but after renovation it has archaeological findings and memento collection. Agate lockets, pendants and puppet pencils are something which one can buy, here. Monument and coin information in the form of playing cards can also be bought here. It is not crowded even on weekends. Of you are a numismatic fan it is the best retreat for you.

Also many other historical information like culture, civilizations like sindhu ghati/harappa etc. is given here. Museum is located near Anjaneri on Nashik to trimbak road. Around 20- 25kms from nashik city.

Drove for 30min & arrived at the location to find out the place is closed where it shows open on Google maps. At least they can update its not open for tourists anymore.
