Worst hospital ever.. the nurses and the staff do not care about the patients.. they are only there to make money . I lost my father there in the hospital . My mother was also admitted there for Asthma Attack and was in ICU for few days .. She said the staff in the general ward was very very bad .

We are from Kolkata. My mother 75 years old went to Bombay to visit my brother. She is a heart patient with a history of CABG and valvoplasty . She had been hospitalised many times in Kolkata but never went into ventilation. My mother went to Bombay on 9th October 2022, fell sick was admitted in Guru Nanak Hospital Bandra East on 12th October and all of a sudden she was put into ventilator on 14th October, from then onwards our lives and my mom’s life was like living in hell , she was in her full senses and her suffering was unbearable . I will not name the doctors here because I understand they are helpless. Every-time we asked the doctors when can we explain her to ne out of ventilator they would evade the question and point out something vague to support their theories. On 22 nd October the CEO of the hospital said a tracheotomy has to done on her which we had to agree because it would lessen her suffering though she will not be taken out of ventilator. From that day it became clear to us that the CEO and the hospital management were squeezing money out of us. We started looking for a way to bring my mother back to Kolkata. Eventually we succeeded by the grace of God. We brought my mother back by a rail ambulance service on a full ICU and ventilator support to Kolkata. We started on 26th October, reached Kolkata on 28th OCTOBER, got my mom admitted in a reputed hospital under a very compassionate doctor. From that day itself the hospital in Kolkata started feeding her orally with liquid diet in contrast to Guru Nanak Hospital where she was kept for 12 days only on saline and clear water. On 29 th October the Kolkata hospital started wearing, on 30 th October she was tsken smoothly out of ventilator and shifted to general bed, from 31st October they made her walk and started feeding her semi solid food. By God’ s grace she is recovering. Had we no taken the step to move her out of Guru Nanak Hospital., the thought shivers us, what would have happened to my mother. The ICU staff in Guru Nanak Hospital are as much inefficient as much they are rude. In my mother’s stay for 14 days in the ICU of Guru Nanak Hospital we had witnessed recovery of just one patient and deaths of four. The two doctors who treated my mother were polite on our face, the only good thing I can say about Guru Nanak Hospital Bandra East.

Hospital needs better processes: 1. Hospitalized patient's relatives have to go buy medicines from pharmacy on ground floor, even after you pay 20k deposit. Why can't this just be settled in final bill or just take more deposit. 2. It takes 2.5+ hours to get discharged from this hospital as the billing department keeps waiting for the "file". 3. To get back reports after discharge the lab needs to call the top floor for another file πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ 4. The billing department responsible for distributing lab reports after discharge 5. The deposit refund takes 2+ weeks be prepared for the long wait

Make sure your insurance policy is supported here end moment we came to they have cut ties with our insurance provider so had to arrange 4.5 lakhs on emergency basis even after having cashless mediclaim. Their website lists their association with one another but when you go to the TPA desk you will come to know the actual truth. Room walls are unclean and cockroaches can be seen attached photos.

My personal experience is, They tell you this much surgery wil cost example 30K later bill wil come around 70K they are just removing money from u and at billing staff are not at all corporate they keep saying give money than only they wil proceed surgery etc etc etc so if you got lots of money than this hospital is good

They even didn't came to know that my wife had blood clot in brain even after doing CT scan. Even though she was showing signs of paralysis. After getting CT scan report they said all is ok. Then we took her to another private hospital near our home who got the CT scan done and told that she has blood clots in right brain side.

Worst hospital ever. If you have lot of money and want to waste get admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital. They will tell you diseases which you not suffering from and not heard about it too. It so called a trust hospital but they charge you like anything. Nurses are not well versed with their job. Doctor's visit late at night as per their convinience. Doctor's take money in black stating that the hospital pay them only 70% of their money. When I complained the accounting department staff said they cannot intervene in what doctor's are asking from patients. Food is pathetic. Cleanliness was maintained everywhere except outside Operation Theatre which should be there priority. They ask you for your feedback and nobody even cares to followup on that then why the hell you ask our feedback. It's less of patient care and more of business. Pharmacy does not have medicines available service and follow up from pharmacy are pathetic. Every third patient that I saw leaving hospital stated that they cannot afford the expenses here which is true and nothing is been considered.

My mother got admitted in 4th floor 408 post surgery. I was very much disappointed with the post operative care post operative medical staff came after 6 to 7 hours to check vitals after informing them. No nursing care from nurses after informing them many time they used to come and see. Very much disappointed . Canteen person after serving food they used to take plates after 10 to 12 hrs after informing them again and again. Nurses are coming there for paper works no nursing care. Iv line was not proper there were signs of phlebitis after informing nurses they were not changing. Mausi who were assigned for duty were very rude with the patient. The careless nurses with no nursing care no infection control policies were followed. Iv set used at the time of admission was same until my mother got discharged. The only good thing about the hospital was Dr Matchavel a kind dr very much supportive and caring. Next time I will think to get admit in your hospital again. Very much disappointed. I myself is nurse by profession so I was expecting better post operative nursing care.

Zero professionalism. Doctors do not pay attention to your papers. Notes in case paper are easily missed by Drs and CMOs putting patients at risk. Their CEO Dr. Sharma gives an appointment for procedure and always arrives lates by 1.5-2 hours. If CEO is this non-professional what can we expect from their staff. Also, the hospital is on the expensive side. OPD visit is as high as Rs. 1500. The doctor doesnt even give you full attention during appointments, he/she is constantly on other phone calls. Dont come to this hospital if you want good service for your patient.

    1. Money Making Hospital.. If you have lot of money then only go this Hospital.. 2. First they will scare you like Patient’s condition is very critical and later to loot your money they will send you in ICU for making Bill of Lacs. 3. In ICU they will tell you to deposit 35K which is refundable. Forget about the deposit they never payback deposit. They will tell you it is deducted for some unnecessary reason. 4.Patient get treated by 3rd year MBBS students. 5. Doctors are never on time.. They come to visit as per their convenience.. 6. They do some tests unnecessarily and doesn’t show the reports to patient’s family.. 7. Total Cost incurred for 5 days went upto 1.2Lacs for C class.. Forget about the Luxury, A & B class.. 8. This Hospital is not a Trust at all.. Think before you go.

Worst hospital . The staff along with the doctors is very arrogant . The ladies at the reception get angry when you enquire about something and are constantly irritated. They don't even have basic manners . I was forced to visit the hospital but it turned out to be a huge mistake.

Was admitted for Severe Body Infections (stomach & urinary), Back Cysts, High Blood Pressure and other ailments. Doctors visit not on time, Twice visit got cancelled and was not informed abt cancellation, Doctors always in a hurry don't listen to patients problems attentively. Disappointed with Dr. K. Matchavel behavior and attitude. In house doctors are of no use as they are not experienced and for everything they will call the main doctor who in turn are always busy and will respond when they r free. Nurses on private floor are pathetic, rude behavior by few nurses, not properly trained, refused to put ointment on back cyst and was told to put the ointment myself. Another patient too complained after 3 repeated request ointment was not applied on his legs. During IV insertion arm belt was not used instead a hand glove was tied on the arm; IV insertion failed resulting in blood loss. Kindly change visitors to timings to 24x7...anybody can visit at any time further they use patients washroom and make them dirty and unusable...gukta stains, water dispersed everywhere, hygiene standards pretty bad. Food service is strictly average. In house doctor was rude with my father when he requested to call main doctor. Reprimanded him on the spot after which he apologized. Final Verdict - Will never visit the hospital again...If anyone has some self respect and common sense then please with folded hands would request never to visit this hospital. No difference between govt hospital and this hospital.

Horrible attitude every single section of the hospital. From the guards to the doctor's. Egotistic mannerless people. This review probably won't make no difference as they don't give no care about how they treat people. Hopefully someone will read this before admitting or using this hospital for any means. Shame on you as human beings, karma will catch up with this hospital

In Gurunanak Hospital x-ray department there is no separate room for changing clothes. They use a thin curtain as a divider, which is not wash for years. They give a same single dress to all patients there. Thus is very ridiculous during this covid situation. Guru Nanak is one of the big hospital and this is not acceptable from the management.

The hospital is filled up with specialized and experience doctors as well as facilities But the hospital administration is very poor in taking care of corona precautions as in every wall it's clearly shown that "everyone should wear mask and without mask no entry". I saw that from the entrance security till the ward I complained several times to staff to wear mask as well as requested staff to inform patients and accompanied persons to wear mask. But am so sorry whenever I said them they just end up in a smile as this was not a rule for them. So many people are coming and going and the hospital is place where you should be more alert and rules are to be follow. If you think that I'm lying you can just take the visuals in your camera and see how your staff is working without mask. Secondly there us no sanitizer except in entrance. The entrance sanitizer dispensing machine is not working properly. I'm very happy to complete all my medical treatment at your hospital and I think you will be taken care of this issues in a serious manner Thanking you Anil

Located in Bandra, Guru Nanak hospital is one of the best healthcare delivery multispecialty hospital. It has been recorded that patients never get to wait in long queues for seeking medical treatments or bed availability. Even, instead of this, individual attention is paid towards every patient and a proper care is provided to the needy people. It has a capacity of 150 beds and a team of skilled specialists qualified from the esteem of medical universities of India and abroad. In addition to this, Guru Nanak hospital has two free dispensaries at Dadar and Bandra in Mumbai. Also, if in case you get to deal with any emergency, Bandra railway station and western Express highway are very easily accessible from the hospital.

I had to undergo ureteroscopy for kidney stones. I visited Dr. Sony Mehta who was extremely curteous and a very good listener. He listened to all my problems with patience and provided me appropriate diagnosis. He is extremely responsive on calls and WhatsApp even on weekends where most doctors don't even bother to look at phone. About hospital - Charges are reasonable but hospital is unethical in billing, if you do not pay attention, you may end up paying extra. They charged extra amount while doing procedure and were non-cooperative during billing as a result I emded up paying 20% of my bill despite being 100% covered.

Excellent service from entire team .... Doctors, Nurses and all staff. Senior Doctors were very polite and patience to explain each details of every aspect of the treatment going on. Since RMO and nurses were the staff available at every hour for the patient so necessary to mention they all were not only very prompt but courteous, kind, cheerful and smiling at all time to serve. Last but not least what most rejoicing was the relicious food from the canteen for both patient and attendant too. All in all five star and keep it up.

The so called owners of this hospital visit other hospitals as patient attendants and act like goons. As a patient myself, I witnessed this person who claimed to be owner of Guru Nanak Hospital harassing the doctor and staff in the emergency room of another hospital by demanding treatment for his relative at his own whims and fancies. Seems like these people don't trust their own hospital, so visit other hospitals for their family member's treatment.

I was admitted at Guru Nanak hospital under the supervision of the well known Dr. Pralhad Prabhudesai as a corporate Patient. The staff of the hospital is cordial and caring. Also the food served was fresh, warm and hygeinic. Special attention is being paid to maintain balanced diet to hasten the recovery process, the dieticians regulary visit the patient along with the consultants. I was able to recover from pneumonia and get back to normal life in a short span of 5-6 days.

Pathetic is the word when it comes to their staff in casualty. one male doctor was there around 4-4:30 (3/9/2019), who dsnt know how to talk and the sister feels she is the queen of the ward. This lady behaves like she is the boss of the hospital, pathetic sister in casualty. The male child specialist available in the hospital(dunno whether he was available also or not)came 20 mins late, even after informing about a 5.5 month old baby at casualty, on asking thr nurse, she says I.do not know where is the doctor, wow what an answer!! And what a pathetic behavior......if this is the standard of a Mumbai Hospital, definitely they should go and rot somewhere.

Is there any concern staff or department to manage the outsiders who is unnecessarily suffering a 2 floor I.C.U persons including the hospital staff. These is the current situation of hospital which is going now and no one is dare here to talk to them and I have seen the best monitor volume of ICU in the world which get increased by their staff around 12 and decreased by 6 am in the morning. I am surprised to see these kind of nature by their staff. I myself I’m an patient who is currently admitted to these hospital on second floor ICU. But unfortunately I can say that these situations of the hospital is going to kill the patient either from the Noice in Icu which not only increases the head ache issue which I am suffering from but I am worried about the aged patients who is right infront of me now on ventilators. And the outsiders patient/Drunkers are managing the hospital I should say that. Hence I wanted to know what should stable patient do if these kind of situation comes in future again and please ask someone right now to have a look at the situation which is going on right now at hospital premises. Best Regards Ankush Chowdhary Icu Patient 2nd Floor 30th June 2020

Never buy medicine from there own pharmacy. Doctor prescribed me only 5 medicines and the staff gave me 10 medicines saying ki "hum pura strip he dete hain" I wish I would have checked it before billing. They did this with all the medicines prescribed and sold me twice the quantity. I told them to I want to return all medicines on having checked that I am paying double the amount. I would rather buy from outside store on which I was being told that they don't accept returns once medicine is sold AS PER THERE MONEY MAKING POLICY.

My mom was discharged on 22nd December and refund of rs 11437 was due to me....but so far they hv not credited the amount nor responded to the mail ...nor they r picking up the phone ..very pathetic management. We were asked to deposit the money on the spot while in hospital. Recd my refund yesterday i.e on 3rd January 2024. Almost after 11days. Now my point is, why so much delay for refund. Why can't you refund the amount the very next working day, when you can make us pay on the spot and that too in advance. After all the person who has got admitted might be facing a lot of hardship and financial problems. This refund if timely done would be of great help for the discharged person. Request the management to look into this and show their concern to the patient who get admitted to your hospital.

It is a multi-speciality hospital having pharmacy, pathology labs, X-ray facilities, 2D-echo & ECG, endoscopy, both normal as well as pediatrics ICU, class A & B ward, general ward, dialysis units, OPD, operation theatre, etc. within the facility.

Got treated for UTI with Dr. Sony Mehta, one of the best Urologists I've ever met.πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ Giving 5 stars to the hospital for cleanliness especially and quick functioning. Nurses & other Staff are very hard-working too. Even the Dietician is very knowledgeable. Keep up the good work and just give away a little more smile and greeting to the patients. Thank you.

They will make you deposit heavy money and then will charge you as much as they can, its not worth of those charges. Dear citizens, please beware.

Doctors and their support staff are good but the security officials are not at all professional. At 9 in the late evening there were 6 guest of the neighbouring patient chatting loudly which was quite disturbing. When the security were questioned as to how 5 guest were let in such time they replied that they were helpless.

🫀 Hospital is good. But we can't work there with a peaceful mind. The time of interview they said one thing and lateron they change it and compel the staff to sign in to the bond paper which is not applicable in any hospital. And hostel providing for the staff is not at all good. No proper ventilation...

πŸ‘ The hospital is pretty expensive. However the service is good. Things I didn’t like: -the payment method is complex for international patients (maximum allows cash payment is 25k if you pay in Indian rupee. If you pay is USD it will be higher). Payment using cards is better for international patient...
