The place is visible only after monsoon and river water is down, I went here in March so could walk down to this place. It has historic importance and said that Mata Sita gave Agni pariksha at this place (this has mythological reference) Place is neat and clean. But again as soon as you reach here, the person will start asking for money as donation! Must visit place, views of river are nice.

This is place where Mata Sita was hidden in witness of Bramha Vishnu and Mahesh, before Ravana kidnapped the Mayavi Sita. Yes, this is truth Ravana never kidnapped the real Sita, she was hidden here through out the Ramayana chest to find Sita. You will see 4 Kunds here 3 Kunds which are together are of Bramha Vishnu & Mahesh, and the 4th one is of Mata Sita. This site is preserved from the Tretayuga till date, just imagine. So fascinating. Jai Shree Ram. Also near by you will find a statue of Laxman cutting Surpnakha's nose. This is exact location of that event. The nose fell in this place that's why its called Nashik.

Nice place.. but government should take initiative to keep the entire place clean.. then it will be good place for tourist

This does not seems to be a Agni pariksha sthal... It should be in Ayodhya or shrilanka.. isn't it?
